I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Sperry. He really listened to my concerns; however, dealing with the office is extremely frustrating. I was awaiting a prescription to be sent to my pharmacy for two weeks. I was surprised to receive a phone call from Envision Imaging regarding a test I needed to complete. I was told this was ordered by the doctor. Days later, I was called by the doctor's office and told I needed to have this test done before my insurance would pay for the prescription. At my appointment, Dr. Sperry and I agreed that I would wear a heart monitor for 2 weeks and that I would receive a call in two weeks to have it put on. After 4 weeks, I had heard nothing and called the office. They found one and I went in and had it put on. It didn't work, so I took it back. I was called by Noi, the only person I had any luck with and told she had another and just to stop by and have it put on. I called a couple of days later to ask about coming by during my lunch hour to get it and was rudely told Noi isn't there at lunch and that won't work. I was not even asked what time my lunch break is. It happens to be during office hours. So, after all of this, I got nowhere. My primary care prescribed what I needed and I moved on. I have spent over an hour trying to get to my patient portal and still not there. I haven't got my INR checked in over two month. Quest Diagnostics wouldn't check it because they don't have a doctors order. I even offered to pay for it out of my pocket. They wouldn't do it. I find it extremely complicated to communicate with my doctor. read more

Staff and wait times are good. Unfortunately, heartplace is run like a factory. The less time they spend with you, the more people they can see and more dollars they can make. This has not changed even after changing doctors. I finally had to leave and find a different doctor that could take the time to explain lab results and give me some feedback. read more

Well, what can I say? This is a doctor's office. For the most part, everyone has been great. Only one time did I have a kind of surly person at the front desk but everyone else has been great. I've been here twice so far and a pleasant experience each time. The first time to see the doctor and the second time for an Echo test. For the doctor, mine is Dr. Hoeting. She really is great. She is a very pleasant person that listens and actually has a since of humor. I got luck when I was assigned to her at the hospital. Incredibly unprofessional. My husband received a stress test at this location (N Arlington) and the entire experience was bad. Starting with an unprofessional staff, cleanliness was less than desirable, poor office setup/arrangement. Not to mention the nurse who administered his iv solution had a huge air bubble which she injected into his vein. We have been very pleased with the South Arlington location. Needed this stress done quickly and took an appointment in North Arlington and definitely regret that decision! read more

The facility is clean and I have not experienced any long waits. My doctor (I forgot his name) was so kind and professional. Most of all, I want to brag on Carolyn. I was referred to an imaging center to get a CT scan and found out that insurance doesn't cover those anymore. She took it upon herself to search up and down for an imaging center that was running a special I could afford. Who offers this level of care these days? I can tell she really cares. My review is regarding Dr Teng. The office itself is a pleasant place, and I have had no bad staff interactions. All of my visits over the last 4.5 years have shown me that Dr Teng is dismissive and uncaring. Not just in his manner, but in his treatment. Don't dare ask a question! Don't dare say how you feel (emotionally). Don't dare have a heart attack after you've seen him, even after doing everything he said. I'm an otherwise healthy, active, slim 55 year old with no underlying health conditions other than a keen mind and a desire to continue to be healthy and educated about my condition. I guess Dr Teng just likes patients who nod their heads and have no questions. I am finding another cardiologist. I'm sure he will not miss me. read more

The receptionist at this office was condescending and rude to me today. I'm 81 years old and suffering from erratic heart rate. When I visited the office after my internist called them, the receptionist said I couldn't see him and all the other doctors were gone. This was at 3:00 and there was one person in the waiting room. I am now at the ER and have been here for nearly two hours. read more

Previously, my experiences with Dr. Teng were disappointing. He tends to be knowledgeable and precise, but brusque and easily annoyed by questions. So for this visit, I told my wife that if it was the same, we would find a new cardiologist and clinic. So I entered with low expectations and with the feeling that this would be my last visit. However, Dr. Teng was pleasant, cordial, and took time to explain everything to my satisfaction. I was very pleased. He has made a distinct effort to improve his rapport with his clientele. I saw Richard A. Wray, MD at Heart Place yesterday for the first time. I would give Dr. Wray a 5 star rating, but my overall experience was a bit diminished due to my long wait to be seen once I checked in. I waited about 40 minutes past my appt. time to be called back even though I arrived several minutes early and already had all my paperwork done when I arrived. Once I was called back I was treated to complete courtesy and caring. The nurse did a thorough history and then I was handed off to tech for ECG and ultrasound. Dr. Wray came in and did a thorough exam, asked me relevant questions and answered all my questions with care & competence. He made med changes we discussed that will reduce my overall costs and explained his rationale for everything. He did a treadmill stress test while I was there without the usual IV stuff and declared I was good to go for the next year. I liked his style and his thorough & conversational manner. I am in the medical sales business and he spoke to me as a knowledgeable colleague without condescending or trying to wow me. I recommend Dr. Wray if you need a cardiologist in Arlington. read more

Here are the facts. My husband has been a patient at the Heart Place, Arlington for roughly a dozen years. Two years ago, he received a pacemaker. Today, he phoned the Heart Place at three different times because he has been experiencing some dizziness and shortness of breath. Once he spoke to an employee; the other two times he left machine messages. Although he place his first call at about 9 am and the last about 3:30 pm NO ONE HAS RETURNED his calls. read more

I was referred to see Dr. Nesbitt by their other location'a cardiologist in Burleson. I was supposed to see the doctor over a week ago but they called me two days before my appointment and told me they had to reschedule me for the following Friday (February 20th). I wasn't happy about having to reschedule but I didn't have a choice. I haven't even seen this doctor yet because they just called me again and told me they have to reschedule me ONCE AGAIN. Makes me wonder if I'll ever get an appointment. I called before trying to get seen sooner but absolutely no one returns your calls despite their lovely and professional *note heavy sarcasm* answering service machine that specifically said not to keep calling the office they'll get back to you when they can..yeah I'm going definitely be calling my insurance and getting a referral to a completely different heart doctor. Visited Dr. Wray today for a stress test to get clearance for an upcoming surgical procedure. I have also seen him twice in the past 4 years. I showed up 20 minutes early filled out my paperwork and was taken back within 5 minutes of my appointment time. Dr. Wray caught up on my medical history while the technician performed the initial heart ultrasound. The technician was very professional and did a great job. Dr. Wray came in the exam room soon after the stress test was done. He spent a good amount of time explaining the results of my testing with a caring manner that did not seem rushed. The front desk staff were also quite professional in their interactions with me. Overall I had a very positive experience. See you in a couple years Heart Place :) read more
