The mail is large. They even name the aisles so you can remember where you saw that item you wanted to go back for! Each stall has a number and a different vendor. They warned me that if you see something, snag it because it may not be there next time. This is true because I wanted an item but didn't grab it and it was gone this last visit. I did find something else, though, and carried it with me so I wouldn't forget! I will definitely be back to Now and Then Antique Mall. It's fun and does remind me of a museum with the beautiful things. Even if it's slightly disconcerting to find things in an antique store I remember as a child. Taking home that treasured item will bring wonderful memories of grandmother making cookies in a beautiful bowl or grandfather's special basket he used to pick tomatoes. I came by one day to look for plants. I understand it's the end of the season but was hoping to get…read moresome in the ground to get roots established. Wintergreen Nursery is a big and beautiful place so I figured this is the place for me! Jill met us and showed us around. Many of the plants still around were flowers and ornamentals. I was looking for vegetables and fruits. I wanted grapes. There were a few varieties and they looked very happy and healthy despite the end of the growing season. I picked a Black Monukka grape with seeds and a Red Flame seedless variety. Jill told us they were two year old roots and we may even get a small crop next season and regular crops after that. I can't wait to see how they taste! I wanted an apricot tree, Hydrangeas and vegetables but will have to wait until after the first of next year. Apricot trees start selling in January! I went in to pay and took a quick look around at all the flower bouquets and decor. I met Ruth who also works there. They are all so nice and knowledgeable about plants. Gorgeous things for your home and perfect for gifts! You really want to stop by Wintergreen Nursery and check them out!!
