I had to come here to pick up the hearing aids that were ordered on my first visit after I underwent a very extensive hearing test. I was very comfortable and happy with the care that I received and on this occasion I went through an extensive if quick process of understanding how to use the new devices. I go back again in a couple of weeks to go over how they have been performing And to check the fit of them. The office staff has been very friendly and when I've had to contact them they've done an excellent job. Scheduling appointments was extremely easy and the service has been exemplary.

I specifically told the person scheduling our appointments that we wanted our consultations with the doctor and she assured me that that is what she scheduled me with yet when my husband and I show up to our appointments we weren't seen by the doctor and we were seen by his PA. I don't understand why an office will schedule you will lie and say that they're scheduling you with a specific doctor that you requested since you're going based off reviews yet they stick you with the PA and don't bother to ask you if that's OK

When I call to get an appointment they said they would email me the forms that I needed in order to be seen by the doctor which they did. The quality of the forms look like something that have been photocopied hundreds of times and each new copy was made off of a photocopy of the one before it leading into a very low quality sheet for me to fill out. Some of the pages were difficult to read. When I got to the office I noticed that it was very out-of-date. Most of the furniture looked portable and like it came from Ikea. You can see from the two attached photos that the equipment looks pretty aged as does the waiting room. The staff was friendly enough but it seemed like the doctor did not listen to my concerns as much as tell me what he thought the issue was. I don't think I will be back to this office and we'll be finding a new ear nose and throat doctor. My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what you expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special and a 5 means you were blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing and a 1-star rating is terrible

I was so pleased with the ease of obtaining care and my in office experience. My previous primary care was not optimal. It was hard to secure appointments, he had a revolving staff that could not seem to apply payments properly to my account, they implemented a new computer system and had not transferred all my records. He retired and since then I have just been using prompt clinics for concerns like sinus infections etc. I have new insurance that requires a primary care referral. I had called around but many were not taking new patients. The United Healthcare portal indicated Dr. Lauren at the Advent Health Family practice was covered by my insurance. I phoned the office and found out they had two physicians taking new patients. I used their web page and made an appointment first thing the next day. I ended up selecting Dr Austin Shoener, MD. I turned up and was called immediately to get my vitals and was seen to a room to await the doctor. Momentarily he arrived and discussed my current medications and medical history. I was able to secure my requested referrals to a couple specialists I see regularly. Dr Austin ordered a blood work panel since I hadn't had that in some time. I walked out and paid at reception. I did not feel rushed when speaking to the provider. I was able to park out front or they have a covered lot just a few more steps away. Upon reflection I was happy about how well everything met my expectations.

My initial experience with the practice 13 years ago was when Winnie Palmer misdiagnosed my son. However, Florida Otolaryngology swiftly and accurately diagnosed him with Mono, resulting in his prompt admission to another hospital. His subsequent week-long stay revealed one of the most severe cases of mono on record, leading to the creation of case studies based on his illness. I haven't had terrible experiences with making appointments and I always confirm my appointment ahead of time to avoid the questions on the iPad. This seems to be the way medical appointments are transitioning. I prefer answering questions on my phone or computer via text before my appointments rather than while I'm there; it's easier.
