His expertise, precision, and best practices made all the difference. I switched to top-tier Oticons, and with the AHS fitting process (much different than my previous one) my hearing is dramatically better and my tinnitus has significantly improved. There was no volume, they squealed and screeched in my ears. The people around me could hear the noise. The Audiologists told me to try the Phonak, and again the Audiologists could not adjust them and again they screeched and squealed in my ear. I bought several microphones as they told me they would help, still no calibration. Again, at their suggestion, I bought a Widex Allure. After weeks their Audiologists could not adjust them to my hearing needs. They led me on to believe if we kept trying, which took me out of the 30 day window. I finally decided I was being a fool. I kept doing the same thing over and over expecting a different answer. After thousand of dollars and way to much time I returned the Allures, in which, Platinum Hearing took a $500.00 return fee. They were the ones that couldn't calibrate them, as they never stopped screaming into my hears. I now have a pair called Signia. American Medical has them where I can actually hear better than I have in years and they don't make any screeching sounds. By the way, their Audiologist and owner only works 1.5 days a week and the second one 3 days a week. They were just not qualified to take care of my hearing needs.

Amanda then came and called me to the hearing booth. She informed me on what was going to happen with the hearing test. Amanda is a very compassionate and educated woman who truly cares about her patients. After the test was over we went to her office where she explained the results and her recommendations. A small but comfortable office, the professional came out and greeted us and went and evaluated the hearing aids. She was able to adjust them so that they were more comfortable. She also showed us what the issue was with them that kept them from working properly and explained why he'd eventually need new ones. I really appreciated she was willing to adjust them to make them temporarily livable and that she explained why, and didn't just tell him, he's needed new ones.

I was hesitant to make this appointment because obviously I am not deaf or in need of hearing aids, but I knew there was a problem. There are a lot of scams out there that offer something for free only to bait and switch you and say there will be a charge for that. The hearing test is really free. The doctor at Connect Hearing was so kind. At no point did she do a hard sale about products I did not need. The doctor did about a hour of hearing tests and than she sat down with me and walked me thru my next steps Thankfully, I just need to follow up with a Ear, Nose and Throat doctor to treat my hearing issue which is no big deal. But, wow. So grateful for this office and for their kindness and information. 100 percent recommend.
