Last night was my first club experience as a 19 year old, me and my girls went because we all needed to dance the night away with the sweating and me going the restroom frequently my numbers started to fade. I had just got out the restroom and wiped my hands on my dress since they didn't have paper towels and I saw that they were barely there so I went up to the person who wrote them on me and asked if he could rewrite them on me I told them they had just came off cause I've been using the restroom and wiping my hands. He was looking at me like if I was lying now why would I ask you to rewrite the numbers if I had intentions of buying liquor not just that but I only had 5 dollars and I only bought 1 water (which was in my hand while I was talking to him). Anyways He (angel) asked my number and I told him number 22 and he kept looking at the teens like 10-15 saying he couldn't find it, maybe cause you're not looking at number 22 like I'm telling you that's what my number is??? He then tells me I can get my id outside and then the mf bans me from the club?? For asking him to rewrite my numbers??? So my friends are getting together to come outside and he's telling me I'm gonna get arrested for waiting for them. So I don't recommend this place unless you want to risk going to jail for respectfully asking for the numbers to be darker Do better angel and don't just pick a fight with people for no reason. I was on the phone with my mom and she even heard your disrespectful tone my friend noticed it as well. This has to be one of the most unprofessional establishments I have ever gone to. I went to see a show with a couple friends from out of town thinking a drag show would be something fun to experience. Heat made this nothing but a waste of money! Staff is EXTREMELY rude. My boyfriend was rudely shoved Twice by staff hard enough to spill his drink BOTH TIMES. I was then confronted by a staff member who, without asking mind you, pulled up my flare arm sleeve to see if I had a stamp on my hand verifying my age to drink. Now I have no problem verifying my age, i take it as a compliment actually. But to be so aggressive as to pull my sleeve up I was quite offended. We paid extra to sit at a table on top of our $15 cash only cover to have awful service, disgusting bathrooms, and overpriced drinks my boyfriend ended up wearing out on his shirt. I HATE coming here if I have to pay to get in! I have been treated horribly MANY a times coming here and now the only way I will go in is if it's a night where I can get in for free! One night I went in with a coupon that said something along the lines of $2 off entry so I thought "cool I could try and use more than one to get in since it says nothing about using more than one!" Oh no, they didn't let me do that, ok cool I understand, business is business, but when the guy at the door taking your money is a complete ass, that's where I cross the line. He told me that I could either pay or get out, me being completely sober left and asked for the owner/manager. Well apparently I talked to the owner (tall built looking man) and he told me that not once for the past(I can't remember exactly how long he said but it was a significant time period) 3-6 months had anyone mention using more than one coupon for an entry so he said he would change it for the future, but didn't let me in for being so smart. Idk but to me it sounds like he knew what he was doing and I just left the situation alone because I was tired of being treated like a drunk person and went home because I HATE when people treat me like I don't know what is happening in a situation. Nonetheless if you want to be treated rudely by the people that work there be my guest, but the only way I will go is if I go in for free and I drink beforehand because it's ridiculous how they treat you there!!! Great way to spend the weekend out of the norm. I don't frequent "The Strip" by any means. It's a rare occasion to find me on the strip weekly. If and when I do and have a choice of venue Heat is one of the very few I enjoy. Staff is friendly and I've formed a couple favorites. Michael Paul and Josh are the best in my opinion mostly as they see me coming through the crowd and know what I will order. Bartending is a gift of many but understanding the true meaning if tending bar and customers these two are above the average notch. Always a good time people watching as it's a crowd of many. Terrible bouncers, very unprofessional. There was a male bouncer in the woman's restroom, apparently he was "looking for someone" he then put his hands on her aggressively in the bathroom. There were female security guards who could have handled the situation better in a professional manner. I brought it to the managers attention and during that time that same bouncer became very aggressive towards me yelling "what's up bro!" "Come on!" Towards me... a female. Manager said that's what he is supposed to do because "it's his job." LADIES BE SAFE, they are not there to ensure your safety. On the other hand entertainment was nice, good bar, just stay away from the aggressive bouncers. read more

They play techno/house/trance on the Saturdays I've been there, which I LOVE and is hard to find in S.A. clubs. It's definitely a "guys" club as my boyfriend loves the music, but feels uncomfortable there. Guys are making out and walking around half naked. My boyfriend is good looking, so they hit on him in the bathroom. But I love this place!!!The dance floor is not that big like everyone says. There are 2 other rooms, but they're just to hang out and drink and talk. The drinks are awesome and I think the best in town! It's a cool club to check out, if you're not phobic. read more

This club could be great if they would strictly play dance trance house music on the main dance floor and keep the Hip Hop ghetto Latin rap music in the back bar...along with the gangster wannabes/riffraffs. I realize the DJ is trying to please a lot of people's preferences in music but it tends to ruin the vibe when one minute you're dancing to some awesome dance song and then here comes a Selena cumbia or worse yet, hip hop/rap. .ugh! That being said, what ever happened to the days when the ENTIRE song was played...rather than only 1 minute or so? Furthermore, the dj doesn't want to be disturbed while mixing. .don't expect to make a request. If you manage to make one, don't expect to hear it..he won't have it or only wants to play what he wants to hear. I went for my first time recently on a Thursday night for a drag show, and it was amazing! I had a great night and everyone was so friendly. I liked the different rooms available (3) and all had a different vibe, the drinks are not badly priced and Sam my bartender for that night was amazing! he made this drink called a TOM TOM and it was delicious. For it to be a Thursday on the night I went, there was people but I am sure it can get packed on a weekend. I will be back. read more

My friend and I decided to stop at this bar while on vacation. We checked their site to see if there was a cover. It stated no cover before 11PM. When we arrived at 10:20PM we were told it was a $10/person cover. I explained that the site stated otherwise. The guy checking ID's laughed and said "Not on a night like tonight." There was a drag show that night and the bar was so overcrowded you literally could not move. It took me 20 minutes to get from the front of the venue to the bar. It was ridiculous! On top of that we couldn't see the performers. The stage isn't elevated, so unless you're 6+ feet tall good luck. When I asked to speak to a manager I was then informed about a back bar. The manager didn't seem to care about me nor what I had to say. He wouldn't refund the cover even though the site clearly stated no cover before 11PM. He said I should've came around to the back bar and I would not have had to pay. Also, it was like "buying concert tickets." He couldn't "guarantee seeing anything." This place was a joke. I would never return, nor recommend anyone else visit this venue. I'm giving this place 1 star because the bartender we had was very friendly, courteous, and professional. read more

We visited the club on 5-25-14. The performers, music, and drinks were fabulous. However, the staff that had a birthday party in the VIP lounge felt that they and their guests can simply trump over people on the dance floor by stepping on them, grabbing them as they passed by drunken, and cuss them out. Being gay does not mean that we like to be grabbed and touched inappropriately. I have a choice as to who will be touching me. The male staff of this club did not agree with me. The male staff clearly indicated that he worked there and that he and his celebrants can do whatever the 'ghjkd' they want. In visiting hundreds of gay establishments all over the world, this one is the first where I experienced such violation. Owners should know about it. It is ok to pass on the dance floor and push here and there while dancing, but if one violently pushes, spills drinks, and grabs the patrons to show power, then we have a problem. Worse yet, cussing the patrons is unforgiving. Other than that, the club is great. The show was fab. The hostess was funny as hell and well prepared. Drinks were fab and priced well. The place is immaculately clean. My recommendation is to get rid of the staff that abuses their power during the club hours. If this happens again, there will be charges filed. read more
