i've been a Heatable customer for my rental property, for several years. They used to be amazing, quick friendly next day service with great support. Now, the support is non existent, the delivery is late even though the payment was authorized and charged well before the delivery. The temps were below zero - and customer service was like sorry - we'll get to you when we get to you... There are much better options that service on time and without having to make several phones. I'm very disappointed in how my delivery was handled as well as how my call was handled. Find a better option. read more

As a current Heatable customer who has had several great experiences in the past---I am now disappointed with them in every way :( Allow me to elaborate: Orders placed online in the past were just about guaranteed for the next day or so, it was convenient, competitively priced with the surrounding market and relatively painless to get a delivery, not to mention fast! Now? Unfortunately not so much and I will be very careful before placing my next order (which has yet to be fulfilled from a request placed nearly a week ago) and I would advise you to do the same. Holding out for the hope that I will in fact not run out of oil prior to my delivery on a very cold, windy New England day! They may have lost me as a customer matter of fact, after this one. The next part is the price, they're literally charging more $$$ per one gallon of heating fuel then EVERY advertised competitor in the region?!?! I feel like a complete sucker for placing this order now and in hindsight I should have researched more prior to placing it, so learn from my mistakes! What was once great, is now no longer and if I didn't need it with relative urgency I would be cancelling in hopes to get someone else here. read more

I've ordered oil from Heatable and one other company for years, shopping for the cheaper option. I recently placed my order with the other company, who was bought out by Superior. I waited 5 days after the order date with no delivery. I called and listened to a round of recorded messages for no less than 20 minutes before someone finally answered, only to say they tried to deliver that day but the road was too icy. I live on a private road and it does have it's moments, but that day wasn't one of them. UPS had no problem coming to my house to deliver a small package, and I drove my 2008 Prius with no snow tires on it just fine. I cancelled the order and ordered from Heatable, who estimated a 3 day delivery window which was getting a bit close for literal comfort. They showed up the very next day - shout out to Jeff who was so friendly. I'll keep my business with these guys. read more

Been given the run around for the past week about my oil delivery (with them knowing that I'm running off of Gas Station Diesel at this point), with a refusal to give a straight answer to even basic questions. We have used this company for 7 years. I called for oil and it was going to be at least 14 days for a delivery. Meanwhile we are putting diesel in our tank to get by. The girl in the office said she suggests we cancel our delivery bc they could not find a driver for us. I think the company might have been bought out by someone else and a lot of their drivers have left. I called after 10 days of waiting and she told me to cancel the delivery. She didn't seem to care that after 7 faithful years we were going elsewhere to get our oil. Do not recommend them. Also they definitely are not the cheapest. read more

They rescheduled because of dog droppings (understandable). I raked the entire area and cleared the whole pathway over 8ft wide, my pipe is a straight shot, no turns. Driver showed up, looked for 5 seconds and just drove off without knocking or anything. I have 3 small kids. Get new drivers. read more

I had been wanting to look for another oil company with lower cost and more control over how much oil I could purchase. I came across Heatable and the ease of finding them, ordering oil was a snap! I could select the gallons I wanted and when I wanted it delivered. Heatable was timely and helped me be in control of oil cost. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to control oil cost. Terrible. I shopped around to find the best price. Apparently I got what I paid for... I'm amazed to see such a positive rating after what I experienced. I placed an order online on Friday around 3pm. I got an email around 3:45pm stating, "Thank you for your first order with Heatable! It looks like you have requested a tank inspection to be done at the time of your delivery Tomorrow. To prevent a delay with your delivery, we just need to confirm that you will be home or that a door bulkhead will be left open for the driver to perform the inspection. We will be unable to deliver until a tank inspection has been performed. If this request was made in error and you'd like to receive only the delivery, please reply confirming that you waive the inspection. Thank you, have a wonderful day!" Of course, I responded around 4pm when I saw it, asking what timeframe. I got no response. Saturday I sat around all morning in case they showed. With no email response, I tried calling. They aren't open for calls on the weekend. I called the affiliated oil company. Apparently they don't actually see any records of orders through Heatable. They went above and beyond to try and get me an answer through their contacts at Heatable. I got nothing. I got a response this morning at around 8:20am. They told me that I couldn't get a specific timeframe, just that their drivers are out from 6am-4:30pm. I responded and asked for someone to please call me as the headache of not knowing if I needed to spend my entire Saturday at home (due to their lack of response) was very frustrating. Instead, their "Office Ninja" (title in their email signature) emailed me back. They initially apologized, but then said, "There was some confusion when confirming your availability for the tank inspection to be performed (once a customer has requested a tank inspection we cannot deliver until either a: the inspection has been performed or b: the inspection is waived)." This implied that I caused the confusion. Well, I was confused because nothing in the initial email stated that they WOULDN'T be coming if they did not hear from me. I responded again, reiterating my frustration and requested to have someone call me. I got a call from the "Office Ninja" within minutes. The individual was combative from the start and would not even let me speak at the beginning of the call. The call only lasted 3 minutes and in that time, I could not get a word in. I asked for their manager, they told me there was no one above them. Ultimately, the "Office Ninja" said, "I'm cancelling your order, have a good day." Never in my life have I had such horrible customer service. read more

Ordered on a Sunday night. Oil was delivered the next day and was less than any of the places I called. I had a concern because there was no receipt in my door. I emailed them and they replied quickly explaining their policies, informing me some things to check, and included links to videos if I had questions (my gauge didn't move and they explained why). I've used Heatable for oil a few times now, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. They have great customer service; they're efficient, quick, and always kind. My most recent fill was done by John who arrived first thing in the morning on the day I scheduled, and offered some helpful tips in regards to my tank and a new method I could use to electronically monitor my oil level.
