For one, you cannot talk to anyone over the phone. But the worst part is, they pretend they're interpreting your pets results themselves and are actually using AI to do so. They're also creating a grey area by insisting the vet reviews the results first, but when I ask for "laymans terms" and you paste me something you pretend to write, yes I have a problem with that. When I asked, they admitted AI usage and then gaslighted me into believing it's only being used for "formatting". The only AI usage I ever agreed to was during a zoom call I agreed for AI based transcription of our conversation, that's all. I just don't understand why it's so hard to give an actual response that you wrote. I really wanted to like this vet but their time saving practices are grossly counterproductive and wildly inappropriate.

In my heart, some reasons, the words did not sound convincing. Decided to search for a vet that integrate alternatives medicine... we found Dr Chen. When we started working with Dr. Chen, she only had a room in her clinic. A small boutique vet clinic where mini walked around sniffed all the staff and we could be in her eye sight all the time. I do admit, I later did miss the intimate setting. Her clinic expanded more and more during our time with mini there. She got her chronic ear infection treated (in one treatment!) her gut issues and later her heart issue. There definitely has been hiccups here and there as the treatments were always smooth sailing but the staff really cared for mini. We got acupuncture herbal medicine nutrition support... she lived for another 2.5 years and the team were always gentle with her and really helped her. we don't have a dog at this time, but when we do, we will be going back to Dr Chen and the team!

Comfortable Pets House Calls - Boom Boom (:

Dr. Polkowski at Comfortable Pets is The Best…read more She visited my senior puppy dog Boom Boom at my house & was so sweet to him. She spent over two hours with us. She examined him & performed various treatments (acupuncture, massage, Assisi loop, etc), but mostly she spent time educating me on how I could care for him better & understand what might be causing him discomfort. I've worked at an animal hospital for over 20 years & am super fortunate to have access to great veterinary care. My dog has a primary veterinarian & I work at an emergency vet facility but Dr. Polkowski was able to offer treatments & knowledge that I wasn't even aware of. She showed me things that I could do at home regularly to help Boom Boom feel better. I adopted Boom Boom from the animal shelter. He came with arthritis & soreness. Fortunately between Dr. Polkowski and Boom Boom's general doctor (at VCA McClave in Reseda), I feel I am better equipped to improve his quality of life.

Best, most caring vet ever. I started fostering and then adopting a husky/pointer mix who my…read moreboyfriend and I named Snoop. She's about a year old and was a mess at first. The foster group (HIT Living Foundation - wonderful people) took her from a high-kill shelter after she was found wandering the streets covered in fleas and ticks and with a lame left leg/paw. She had a brachial plexus avulsion (tearing of the nerves) and wasn't moving the paw, leg or shoulder at all. Any vet will tell you that this is a very hard injury to treat and almost always results in amputation of that leg. Also, in general, Snoop was just not in good physical shape. I found Lori through a recommendation and asked her to come evaluate Snoop after I had been fostering her for about two weeks. I was nervous at first as Snoop is very people scared and only lets my boyfriend and I touch her. Lori, with her wonderful assistant/shaman, Hector (I am not a particularly mystical person but Hector has some super calming influence over animals - even my cat came right up to him and into his lap so I will call him shaman!) came to my home (all covid protocols in) and coaxed Snoop out of her shell and started treating her. Snoop has been getting acupuncture, laser, chiropractic adjustments and B12 shots all from Lori. Snoop looks forward to the visits and is always excited when they come. Also, Lori has trained me quite a bit and I do simple physical therapy exercises with Snoop throughout the week and give Snoop supplements. Honestly all easy stuff that takes about 20 minutes a day. Lori checks in in us regularly and we've now been working with her for about 6 weeks. And the results...Snoop is a different dog. She just started using her shoulder again and regaining some of the feeling in her leg although she still can't walk on it. But she is now full of energy and running around and navigating on three legs quite nicely. She's healthy and filled out and a puppy again. She also can pick up her leg more so she's not dragging the paw around all the time and I don't have to wrap in the house or backyard (only for walks or when we leave). Even if she doesn't regain full use of that leg/paw again, it's been totally worth it. Snoop won't need it amputated and the use of her shoulder is so great. She's also just so healthy and happy now. However, our fingers and crossed and we are still working on getting that paw working. Thanks Lori!

Molly Puppins is the best…read more We contacted her at a friend's recommendation. Our dog is a very traumatized rescue, and we want to limit any more traumatic experiences in her life so we had never left her before. First off, Molly is very thorough. She came to meet our dog (Molly). She has an information sheet to gather all details for house/dog sitting. During her stay, she sent daily multiple update photos as we wanted. When we returned, the house was clean and she made us cookies! Molly the Dog loved Molly. It took her a day to get used to her but Molly won her over with her gentle massages and just being there for when she was ready to be friends. The Mollys were soon the best of friends- going for walks, chatting with the neighbors and dogs (Molly the Dog's usual friends) sunning outside, hanging on the couch, and doing what Molly the Dog would do if we were there. Molly the Dog is a boxer/bulldog with a lot of health issues - multiple eye medications and shots needed, Molly handled them all and we can tell as the her eyes flare up if she misses any doses. Ultimately, we allowed someone into our home and left them with someone very dear to us. We felt very comfortable putting our trust in Molly Puppins. We give her our highest recommendation.

Whenever I come up on some available funds, my heart races, and I go see Dr. Liebowitz. As a doctor, no bones, straight knowledge. You cannot beat his expertise and knowledge in his field! After receiving a FDA recall notice from a pharmacy he used to fill one of my prescriptions I reached out to the doctor repeatedly over a 8-day period expressing my concern (I had injected the medicine already) with no response. In subsequent visits, Dr. Liebowitz's office dispensed the prescriptions he wrote directly to me and I paid the office directly. This was problematic for three reasons: 1) The directions included with the medication changed often and were not always correct (a problem when you're injecting medication). 2) One time the office dispensed the incorrect medication (prescription said one thing but the bottle was a totally different medication). 3) The medications were cost prohibitive. When I asked Dr. Liebowitz to write me a prescription for the medications so I could fill it at the pharmacy of my choosing, he told me he would do that. After repeatedly calling and emailing his office I was told that he would not. I then learned that he was charging double what he was paying for the medications from the pharmacy--a super shady practice in my estimation. His response was that his education/research were worth what he was charging. I can tell you there are PLENTY of doctors around who know far more than Dr. Liebowitz and don't insist that their patients buy meds directly from them at a HUGE markup. Do yourself a favor and find one of them.
