The staff were very nice but there was an odor of burnt plastic inside. Carts worked well but their geo fencing made no sense. I had multiple times it shut down well away from greens and tee boxes. Number one has the range down the right side. Wouldn't let me get within twenty feet of the marked out of bounds as I searched for my ball. Also how about sending someone out to police all the range balls on number one. Another tip. Have your mowers work backwards so each group only deals with it on one hole? We had a mower escort for three holes as we finished the front nine. Found it weird they were cutting tee boxes at 1pm. It wasn't wet. PRO SUGGESTION: how about a discounted rate until your greens get fixed. Many course give a discount during aeration season. Highlight was the guys I caught on two and waved me up to join them. Pro Tip: Tuesday has a ladies league so get out early or not at all. 5000 yards should not take four hours. Pro tip: I would skip this place until they get their greens figured out.

Pace of play was pretty spot on with a ~4hr round. Course had a lot of undulation and plenty of water to keep things interesting. Yardage options were very nice to fit a lot of different golfers. Turns out Twin Rivers is a sleeper pick in the Orlando area. I liked the course from tee to green. The fairways were kept well, the greens were running solid and the bunkers were fluffy and maintained well. Views- 6.5/10. Yeah this course is on the outs of orlando, but its got its cool views. I saw lots of alligators and wildlife. surrounded by nature and not many houses. not much to look at but I liked how it was different. Difficulty- 6.5/10. I know it was a tighter course that I remember. Of course the water holes. The par 3s were the most difficult for me. The greens were tiny too so its much harder to hit them. Hospitality- 5/10 I did not go inside to check in my dad did so I don't know if they were nice. The starter was a nice guy. We were from the same state. No cart girl. Also no bag guys to check our bags at the beginning or end. Value- 6/10. It has more potential. I'd say look more into hospitality a little more. Cart person is always good when it can get hot in orlando you always want water. The price for the round was good my dad and I spent a little over $100 total for 18 holes and range balls. I'd pay more to play here that way they can bring more money in to add value to the course. Practice Facility- 7/10. There was a small range for us. Probably couldn't hold more than 10 people on the range, but the grass was good to hit off of and kept well. The green was big to practice on. No bunkers to practice from. Location- 7/10. It was my first time in the Oviedo area. Nice area to play golf and then right down the road was plenty of spots to eat after so I like the area overall. Design- 7/10. Lots of dog legs. I like the dog legs because you have to think a little before you just rip driver. Cool water holes and decent yardage for playing from the blue tees. Atmosphere- 5/10. We teed off at 9:50 and it was already slow right after the first tee shot. Slow Slow Slow pace of play. You have to have a ranger out there telling people to pick it up.

Recently played on Valentine's Day right after the random 30 degree cold snap we had in the Orlando area and the fairways and overall conditions held up alright. The greens could definitely use some love. They roll pretty fast in my opinion, which can be tough especially if you're not the strongest putter like me... Biggest downside is the pace of play. Every time I've been here it tends to back up and rounds can get slow. But I do keep coming back so I can't complain too much!

The course conditions were very firm and overall very mediocre, especially considering the $55 tee time. On the course, one of our carts died on the 9th hole. We called the pro shop for assistance, and it took about 10-15 minutes for someone to arrive (the shorter older gentleman) and only after we called back a second time for an update, at which point we were told they had forgotten about the request. The most concerning part of the experience happened after the round. After returning our carts and leaving the property, I realized within about 5-7 minutes that I had left my wallet in the cart. We immediately called the pro shop and turned around. In total, the wallet was on the cart and not on my person for roughly 12-15 minutes. When I returned, the staff in the pro shop had my wallet, and returned it to me. However, I noticed that the cash I had in it (approximately $140-$200) was missing. I was 100% certain the cash had been in my wallet earlier that day and during the round. I asked the staff if they had any information about what might have happened, but they said they were not aware of anything and that the wallet had been brought in from the cart barn. I then spoke with staff in the cart barn to see if anyone had seen anything, but no one was able to provide any additional information. The interaction became tense, and at one point I felt the response I received was unprofessional and escalated unnecessarily rather than focusing on resolving the situation. Given the circumstances, I contacted the police and filed a report. I was informed there may be surveillance cameras in the cart barn area, but access to that footage would not be available until management returns. Overall, this was a horrible and frustrating experience not only because of the missing cash, but also due to the lack of urgency, communication, and professionalism in handling the situation by the staff. Based on this experience, my friends and I will not be returning, and I would advise others to think twice before choosing Wekiva Golf Club.

The.golf course is a joke, I've seen better maintained cow pastures. The condition of this course is only half the problem, the prices are much more expensive then any course in this area... I suggest playing Sweetwater,Zellwood or Forest lake before even considering this dump! Last time I played out there I saw signs for the Lee Westwood academy at Errol Estates, what a joke that is! I can't for the life of me understand why Lee would attach his name to such a HORRIBLE GOLF COURSE. Lesson of the day Avoid Errol Estates there are 100s of courses that will give you a much better experience for your money!

What was once a truly great golf course, and well maintained clubhouse, has sadly seen better days…read more Several years ago, a group of friends and I would get together and play this well maintained, hilly course in Apopka, as they offered some great deals during afternoon times over the summer. The course at that time seemed to always be in great shape. Recently, or over the past few years, it seems they have not invested very much into the clubhouse area, and are content to really just let time pass it by. The course itself is still overall in average shape, but the clubhouse, and your first impression here, leaves much to be desired. Apopka has some nice areas to it, and this could be restored to really add a nice touch to the area. I truly hope they at some point they try to refurbish the clubhouse and restaurant.

I have been here twice to use the driving range since it's located close to me and uses TopTracer…read more I'm a newbie and still learning. The staff at the pro shop I found to be friendly and helpful. I feel bad that I can't remember their names but I had short conversations with them and they gave me pointers which I was grateful for. The driving range is nice, well lit, comfy and they even have fans and tables at each bay which was nice. I had friendly chit chat with neighbors in the other bay here and there while taking my shots. The only reason I can't give more than 3 stars is because both visits I was never waited on or helped by the waitresses. I noticed that and it was disappointing. Before you ask me why I didn't just call someone over, I noticed that during both visits, I was skipped over. The last visit, the friendly lady at the pro shop told me to get set up and someone will be there shortly to get my drink order. I saw a waitress come out and help the family at the end, walk past my bay, assist the two guys next to me and the two young ladies having a lesson at the other end. I was wearing argyle. Sometimes you think something isn't deliberately happening, but the next time you stand and actually watch it happen. So I quietly finished my bucket and left. I will fairly give three stars based on my experiences with the staff in the pro shop and using the range b/c it really is a lovely setup. I'm not sure if I want to return but it doesn't discourage me from the game.

The shop is small and had a lot of great items especially the sale rack, but the mediums run like extra large! Nothing was small enough for us. Two rounds plus cart and range balls was $169. Not bad. The drive to the range is a little far- so keep that in mind when you plan your arrival time. We received a gas cart so it was kinda slow and noisy. Our mates had an electric car, so they have both. Our cart also did not have a rake, so we borrowed theirs as needed. Carts do not have GPS or a speaker. Bring your own. We heard there was a gal on the course. We passed her and she never caught up to us. Luckily we bought stuff before we started and refilled at the turn. There are bathrooms along the course, right after the second hole and the same one is after the sixth. There's another one on the backside as well as the club. The bathroom stations are clean, separate men and women and have water. Every hole has water. The course was well maintained. Ranger was around to keep everyone on time. We finished first nine in 1:40. I did not keep track of time on the back 9. I would definitely golf here again. It's a bit far but worth the drive.

The tee boxes are always well kept and the fairways are like hitting of a carpet. The staff in the club house was so nice and helpful. If your within an hour this golf course is well worth the drive. Oh, make sure that you bring PLENTY of balls because there's water on EVERY hole that comes into play if you hit an errant shot. I'll surely be back soon, I hope to see you there.
