He was kind, apologetic, and very solution-oriented. I made it clear I wasn't trying to get anyone in trouble, I just value good customer experience. He and Ashleigh made adjustments and reassigned us to a closer bay, and Ashley even followed up to ensure we were comfortable. Vivian was our server and she was phenomenal. She kept up with our table, made sure our drinks stayed filled, and ensured our food came out correctly. We ordered queso dip, the wing trio, margaritas, and waters. Everything was great. While the experience started off a bit frustrating, the management and service team absolutely redeemed it. I appreciate businesses that take accountability and fix things in real time. Visited top golf in the middle of the week. I went about an hour after opening and to my surprise it was quite a few ppl already there . They also were closing early for a special event . During the wk it's 1/2 off so my play for an hour was $19. I also ordered food which was delicious. I ordered the Chicken Katsu sliders which came with fries and I added a side of jalapeño ranch sauce for dipping . For my drink I ordered the Henny Palmer royale & it was just OK! I visited the Lake Mary Topgolf because they were discontinuing a fan favorite: the Nacho Average Nachos. I was in the mood for steak, so I ordered the steak nachos, which comes with guacamole (with a jalapeño inside), pico de gallo, and sour cream. On the nachos are refried beans, queso, and chimichurri. It's super sad they took them off the menu, but I suppose some people would be happy to order traditional nachos from now on. As some people are suprised at the difference of appearance and then love the dish, I'm wondering if Topgolf decided to cease all confusion. I also ordered my absolute favorite--the Mac Bites. They come with a side of apicy tomato sauce and a side of ranch. These things are to die for. The sunset margarita was also delicious. A sweet margarita balanced with a tajin rim for the salty and spicy effect--surely a party in the mouth. I wouldnt advise it without the tajin, unless you like sweet drinks. Topgolf is always a fun place to visit. There are three floors with ample bay space. Typically a max of 6 people are seated in a bay unless you opt for an extended bay. Our first visit to Top Golf was to watch Day One of the Ryder Cup at a golf-themed sports bar. Watching the Ryder Cup is a pretty big weekend for most golfers. Big beautiful place. Large parking lot. Wide open floor plan. Lots to see during our first visit. Someone spent a ton of money building this place. We were directed to the 3rd floor. Why we couldn't watch this big-deal semi-annual International golf tourney on the ginormous video wall we walked by on the deserted ground floor was never properly explained to us. The 3rd floor bar was 100% empty. The 3rd floor tee boxes were also virtually empty. The seats at this bar are hard, backless stools that are miserably uncomfortable. The tv's have a very bad glare and pixelated each golf shot. We had a fried chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger. Both were tasty, but our fries were delivered cold. To be fair, the fries were replaced with fresh hot orders. But why try to serve cold fries in the first place? The draft beers were served cool, not cold, and were frankly pretty expensive. Our overall experience in this big, visually exciting 3-story facility wasn't nearly as enjoyable as we expected. Combining the poor seating, the lousy tv's, and the expensive food & drinks made us realize we'll pass on coming back for anything other than maybe hitting some balls at an over-priced driving range. Top Golf is not a sports bar for golf fans. We'll just keep going to either Gator's or Ale House - both of which are true sports bars who know how to cater to golf fans. read more

First time at TopGolf tonight, it was a good experience but I can't say I'll be back anytime soon. We got there at around 8:45-9:00 PM and bought 90 minutes of golfing. They placed us in the bottom floor and we ordered drinks and appetizers. I truly enjoyed their buffalo chicken dip I had to order another one. It was bursting with flavor and their white sangria was so good and fresh! Our server "Garret" was checking on us every now and then. Toward the end we ordered more apps since he asked if we wanted anything. We were so focused on golfing and having a good time, we didn't notice we were one of the last ones. I asked Garret what time they close he said our floor was closed already. That they were all just waiting on us to "Scaddadle" I felt so embarrassed that we were the last ones, as someone who works in the service industry I know what it's like. But I felt that Garret did a terrible job by not letting us know they were closing the bottom floor soon, he could've also gave us a "last call" so we could've at least known they were closing soon. A very mixed review but the business reached out to me to correct. Topgolf is always fun. Good set up for a small group. Now, this is the issue... They had an issue with the kitchen and had an extremely limited menu. I get it. All places may have issues. But, there was no signage when we got there. No one mentioned anything when we got there. The problem is that their limited menu didn't support our dietary needs. We came here for lunch with the family. Since we reserved a bay, and they have my contact info, I feel that they could have easily let us know. If nothing else, when we walked in, they should have told us. We weren't told until we sat down and started to look at the menu. Last comment, feels that the team could do a bit better job of greeting people and helping to direct people. We reserved two lanes for our office Christmas party and had a great experience. The staff were very helpful. Our server, Maddy, was amazing and checked on us plenty. They had an adjustable heater, which was nice considering the cold and wind. The tech and clubs were nice and user friendly. The food was great too. Phew, Top Golf. For me this is a tough one. I'm not big on the whole Millennial style over substance thing but to me at the core that's what you got here. Take your basic driving range experience and then bougify it to the max with a huge list of liquor and apps and Insta-worthy photo ops and Bingo!, you've got Topgolf. We came on a hot and muggy (it's central Florida which describes the weather 300 days a year, I know) Sunday where it also drizzled/rained most of the time. Drizzle aside, the place was very, very busy. I know that you can reserve bays seven days in advance, but I didn't have a hand in that as our local friends who come fairly often know enough people here to be able to text someone on staff and have a top floor bay set aside for them on short notice. All I know is that before we got here, they texted us and said that we were upstairs in bay 317 or something like that. The basic idea is that ideally you reserve a block of time in advance, show up and play their games (try to hit the balls into their open collection pits for more points which of course makes it easier on the facility to recycle the balls versus strictly having staff in the little collection cart get them) while having their drinks and food. A few notables from our experience: - The place is jet engine loud. Piped in music, people everywhere, blower fans behind the bays in a weak attempt at keeping you cool during the inevitable humidity, etc. Either way, if you want the "serenity" of the range like you would get at an actual course, you're not finding that here. - Odd mix of people. Everyone from the Insta-Ho crowd who are there strictly to take pix and hang out while having no clue what's going on or what they're doing to the D-Bag Trent & Brent country club set all bringing their own clubs and bags because of course the communal rentals aren't good enough. - You obviously don't need to bring you own clubs. They'll give you a full set both LH and RH without issue. Personally, I thought the clubs were pretty nice. - Drink and food service was very, very slow. The hostess had too many bays and by the time the nachos hit the table they were already cold the same as the flatbread. Booze wasn't any faster. When I needed a refill, it took three cracks and mentioning something to another staff member to make it happen. - The games I guess are fun, but we had several balls that would show the ball went left when it actually went right, or I managed to hit one almost off the screen at the rear of the property that never registered at all. From the random file, there is plenty of parking, the bathrooms were immaculately clean and all of the staff we encountered were very friendly even when they were very busy. Overall, the experience is unique and you will probably have fun but...hopefully someone else is paying for it and/or at the very least you're coming on a Tuesday when it's 1/2 price for the golf all day chain wide because it's very expensive and it's easy to rack up a multi-hundred-dollar tab between the golf, food and booze. read more

We love top golf and we're on vacation figured we'd stop since we were in area to see family. My son had never been and none of us are golfers but it's just a fun experience. Apparently we're a bit competitive because I'm just happy to hit ball at all but I won 2 out of 3 games playing the angry birds version and block party.. the balls are gps located so shows in game where you should aim to gain points.. my favorite drink on menu is the sangria! The boys had few beers and our server was Victoria! I love her! She took such good care of us plus she's shorter kinda lady like me and she brought me a whole set of clubs to use that might be better suited to me and they were! No one at a top golf has ever told me that's an option so I've just made due but she really looked out.. we were also seated at a high top seating section I asked just to get shorter chair for just me but she moved us to a nice couch sitting booth which was great! I've been meaning to update my review since I think I'd only been a couple times when I wrote my first review and we have been going regularly now for the last few months so it's better than "just ok". The service has been consistently good and we've never had to wait too long for a bay. There are still problems occasionally with the balls not registering, but not as bad as the first couple times we went. The chips and quest are delicious and the chips are unlimited refills so it's a great bargain and easy to snack on between taking turns hitting balls. I would recommend it for sure. My partner is a lover of all things golf. I don't golf so Top Golf is the perfect combo for us both. Pro Tip: you do have to pay a $5 "one-time membership fee". You don't get anything with the membership except access to the facility. We had set up our memberships in Portland. They couldn't find mine but waived the fee for me based on me telling them I had it. Pro Tip: Tuesdays are their sale days. The price of playing is reduced which is helpful if the cost is a barrier to participating! The location is easy to get to off the highways and has ample free parking. O We have been on a Tuesday during the day (we were on a staycation) and on a Wednesday night. It's never too busy. The Bays: You are provided with golf clubs for both women and men. If you need lefty clubs you do have to ask for them. It's like bowling where each person gets a turn to go and then the next. I like that because it means that while the other person is going I could hang out to eat or drink. You can play to get the balls into the round targets or play other games. We LOVED playing the Angry Birds games. That was great since none of us at my party except my partner actually knew how to play. The Angry Birds game made it more level and fun for everyone. The drinks: Cocktails are small and overpriced. The first drink was the strawberry lemonade cocktail for $11 in an 8oz cup. Then, I ordered the golf bag which requires 2 people to drink, but it's basically Sprite and vodka. You get to take the cup home. It was only 20 oz. We also got a pitcher of beer which was great. I like they have a thing in the middle of the pitcher to keep the beer cold. We played when it was 95 degrees so it was helpful to keep the drinks cold. The food: Started off with fried mac and cheese. There was more cheese than actual mac noodles which I wasn't mad about. The marinara sauce was really delicious. We got the burger and chicken sandwich. The tots and fries were on point! Warm and fresh. Portion sizes are a bit small. The burger was a good size with all the fixings. The chicken sandwich was the better of the two with a great crunch, good chicken-to-bread ratio, and the sauce on the chicken. Will definitely get that next time. As part of T-Mobile Tuesday, they had a promotion for buy 1 hour, get 1 hour free on Sunday. I looked into reserving a bay, but decided that paying the premium for the reservation didn't really reserve a bay, it just put you to the top of the line at the time you reserve. The money also doesn't go towards the rate either. The hourly rate here was cheaper than the Orlando location, so we decided to give it a try. We arrived and were told it was about a 60-90 minute wait and they'd text to let us know when it was ready. Normally, this would be a great time to grab a bite, but they have a lack of vegan options, so we ate beforehand. I went to check my phone to make sure it was on and already had a text that our bay was almost ready and to text "Yes" if I was ready for it. I Texted "Yes" and got a reply that our bay was ready. There was absolutely NO wait after being told 60-90 mins. Score! We were excited to play Angry Birds and the attendant informed us that it doesn't work so well on the ground level, and we'd be better off on the upper levels. We tried and she was right, it didn't work that great unless you got some loft to the ball. The kids were hitting worm burners and not registering anything. Even with some loft, the balls got lost. We opted for some other games and there were shots where we clearly hit the target, but no score was registered. We're familiar with how you can edit a ball, but got the equivalent of the "wheel of death" when it was trying to save. My wife and I got frustrated with it and eventually a manager came over. After another bay cleared out, there were 3 people cleaning clubs, the plastic partitions, tables, etc., so we felt like everything was clean. The bays were kinda small and you had to squeeze between the plexiglass and a chair to get to the golf area. It seemed kinda cramped. I found myself standing at the end of the table, partially in the walkway. We had fun, but there was a period of frustration when the technology just wasn't keeping up. Also, the front area was full of balls so any chance of chipping it into the red during a quick 9 vanished.
