Then I tried threads and they snapped within hours and left a pea sized bump on each side of my forehead for over six months.Angela said it was my body. The threads left a giant scar on my face, people ask if it was from chicken pox. They are required to fix their mistakes but instead Angela charged me more! Eventually I tried another med spa and both my filler and Botox worked great and lasted a long time. I have now been to three different med spas who know Renew because they are constantly fixing their mistakes. I look in the mirror at the damage they did and cry. I only wanted to improve my self esteem and it ended up costing me permanent damage. Lastly, I remember telling Angela about my love for animals and she told me how her husband recently killed a poor baby deer instead of taking it to a rehab. Why would she think a person who loves animals would want to hear that?!

They have a tremendous number of options as well! And, are very good at letting you know what options you need without trying to take advantage of you or upsell, (which again the place I went to initially when we moved here , it was all about the upsell, which really turned me off). My procedures with Dr. Johnson and staff have included Dysport, co2 laser, fillers in my hands and face and laser treatments for brown spots. I also live in Scottsdale, AZ. Unfortunately, I've had a few horrible experiences with Dysport that was incorrectly injected. I have one crazy eyebrow that raises a lot higher than the other (Spock eyebrow). Dr. Johnson always corrects this and my results are perfect.

After my second visit, I quickly noticed that "bruising" look didn't go away. It appeared to be the Tyndal effect. I called the office several times wanting it fixed or to have the filler removed. They refused and argued I was incorrect. They insisted after seeing pictures that it was discoloration from bruising. After several months, it didn't go away. I went to another plastic surgeon who said I was indeed correct, and it was placed too shallow causing Tyndale. He removed all filler with hyaluronidase and all discoloration went away. The service was not good, unsure if Dr or staff, but should have tried to make their customer happy (especially considering I turned out to be correct and placement was wrong).

Also I have more lines around my eyes than I had before going in! I also had some (1) injection on each side of my upper lip for a line. She said she could fix. Oh my! I know have deeper lines at the end of my lips! They texted at the end of our week to check on us...I texted back what had happened...they said to come in and they could fix it! lol you can't! What...make the other eye droop too! It has to know go three months and wears off! You can't just fix it! I seriously was going to go in so they could see what they did to me. When I moved to the area I had to find a new dermatologist and settled on Dr Townsend at North Idaho dermatology. I couldn't be more happy about that decision. I really appreciate her approach to care, and the way that she's willing to discuss things and research things really helps make decisions. The office itself is quite nice, I don't know anything about the spa. The staff here is all friendly. And the medical assistance all seem very professional and are also very good at their jobs. I have had some issues with the billing department, working with my insurance. But I think that that's pretty standard for a doctor's office especially a specialist.
