One of the coolest parts is that they make their cheese right on site, and there are big windows so you can actually watch the process. It's such a unique and charming touch that makes the place feel special. Before I left, I picked up some of their chive Havarti cheese -- and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Creamy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Friendly staff, cozy vibe, and amazing food. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area -- both for a meal and to stock up on cheese!

Sadly these taste like any other cheese balls that I've tried all over town. There is nothing that sets them apart from everyone else. They do offer pre-baked and frozen ones (for those who like that fresh out of the oven taste and feel). They sold singles at the Market 4 = $3 which is better than some of the other prices that I've seen around town. They need to do a little more to stand out from the pact like making different flavor combinations beyond the obvious. It takes a lot of ambition to go from Kitchen to a business and for this I admire them for it...they just now take it up another notch. The best perogies in the lower mainland - my opinion…read more I can't even buy anything else as these wrapped pockets of goodness are honestly that good, don't believe me, then it's time for you to get yourself out to this place. I come from Vancouver, and this is not a close drive, but so worth it, especially if you are here on Friday. So what makes them so good... well it's the ingredients they use, and it really shines, also how you cook them, I kept on screwing up until I finally followed instructions on the website and wow...what a difference. Currently we have the German, and Russian garlic perogies in my freezer, and I really can't tell you which one I love more, yet it makes me happy Veronica's is in my freezer. Occasionally they will sell a special flavour, like a Thanksgiving (don't pass this one up) or one I just picked up that is packed with Montreal smoked meat (haven't tried yet... but I have no doubt it is awesome) and then they have all the normal flavours. They also do gluten free, and dessert ones (like apple and blueberry), also selling their sausages, and sauerkraut (which has eluded me the last 3 times I have been in store), and on Friday it is the only day they serve hot lunch's, which means you can order a box of perfectly cooked perogies to eat right away, with or without their pan fried sausages, but be warned, if you finish this box.... which I have had the pleasure to do a few times.... you probably should pull over as this might make you have a nap. And the first time you have the cooked ones, you will eat them all.... I hope to try the sweet dessert ones next time, but definitely a favorite and must hit!

The sandwiches are around the $10-$12 range and was nice that they grill them on the spot. They also have some nice baked goodies and some late grocery shopping. I noticed two that they have a clearance for some of their riper fruits and vegetables, but are a steal of a deal if you can make use of them. Clean inside and had a good enough selection if you can't make it out to the bigger grocery stores for a big shop.
