The store mostly focused more on wedding cakes. After reading other posted reviews. I ordered a chocolate swirl cheesecake. It was a hit with the family, better than store bought brand. We plan of purchasing a raspberry swirl cheesecake next time we visit. Also the owner gave my daughter a free chocolate orange candy. Prices of the cheesecaked was reasonable also they cater to keto and sugar-free customers. I recommend this place. read more

We've purchased several cakes from here and have always been very happy everything has always been fresh and moist and always a hit with everyone at any of the occasions we've celebrated with the cakes from here. Service is always excellent and I highly recommend stooping in I am looking forward to trying different items I have purchased this delicious cake, in the past a carrot cake it was to die for and a white wedding cake type cake for a birthday that has been my favorite up to this point. read more

Thank you Phyllis for the personalized attention. Yesterday was my son's birthday but I am in the Dominican Republic. Orders need to be put 2 days prior to delivery but when I explained to Phyllis how far away I was and that my son was at Embry Riddle University without family to celebrate she did not hesitate to take my order.... If I could leave negative stars solely on customer service I would. I went here because their cheesecakes are good. I first called to see what they have available, only to be told they weren't sure what was in the freezer because they didn't check. I drive there after work to be told that I have to wait 15 minutes for them to finish what they are doing. I wait in my car. I go in 15 minutes later to be ignored. I drive to Ormond to find another place that has cheesecake. They were sold out so I have to pace this place so I stop back in. The same woman sees me and says give me one minute. Proceeds to not only get food out of the microwave but to answer an incoming call. Finally she looks at me after putting her food down to say one more minute. I just leave. As much as I like their cheesecakes I appreciate customer service more. I do not recommend! read more

When I first moved to Ormond Beach, we were out and I had a craving for cheesecake and stumbled across this place..it looked promising. After waiting nearly 20 minutes to purchase a small cheesecake (the proprietor was apparently having an issue with a lost credit card). She finally came out and when she took our order, announced she didn't have any small ones but did have a couple large ones...and stated the price was 35.00!!! I nearly walked out, but saw it was quite large and felt if it were really good, it'd be worth it. I have never eaten such bland, chalky and absolutely tasteless cheesecake in my entire life. Even the graham cracker crust was thin, tasteless and watery...I ended up throwing out more than half of it.... Sara Lee cheesecakes beat "Heavenly Cheescake "hands-down". Maybe she does make something good..but after that experience, I've never been back. read more

My friends and I went there yesterday and ordered a whole cheesecake and added strawberries to it. We decided to eat it there. The owner was so kind she cut the pieces up added fresh strawberries added whip cream to top it off. The best cheese cake ever. I would go there first for all my cheese cakes for sure. read more

I had my wedding cake made here. It was truly "heavenly". It was cheesecake on the bottom and regular cake on the top layer. We chose a sea theme and the decorations were exquisite shells, starfish, and seahorses. The only thing that surpasses the beauty and quality of the cake is the taste. We used Heavenly Cheesecake in 2011 for our wedding and the cake was phenomenal. We held a blind taste test with our families and everyone agreed that Heavenly cheesecake tasted the best. We had a 3 tier cake with embedded diamond looking stones. It was Stellar. Highly recommend, and worth every penny. read more

Heavenly Cheesecakes are exactly what the name implies- these things are DELICIOUS. My wife and I decided to do a Cheesecake for our wedding cake, and we had heard good things about this place. Surprised to see noone else had Yelped about it! We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and spoke to one of the bakers, and she was amazing in helping us design our cake. My wife had brought in pictures of some designs she had liked, and they also had a few photo albums of cakes they had done. The baker discussed everything with my wife and I, including the size of the cakes, design, color, and the best part- we got to taste test all the different flavors of cheesecake to pick out our favorites. We ended up going with a few different flavors, one on each layer. The cake was delivered all the way to St. Augustine on our wedding day, and it looked amazing. EXACTLY how my wife and I had wanted it, and it was DELICIOUS. The bakers worked with our florist to get the flowers on it, it really looked great, and everyone raved about how great it tasted. The folks here were really polite, professional, and listened to what we wanted and gave us exactly that. Cake was awesome, service was awesome, and the price was right. If you're in the area, you can even stop in and buy some fresh cookies or cakes (They have a smaller counter where they serve up some yummy candies and chocolates too). Great place to stop, especially if you love your cheesecake. Definitely recommended for all fans in the area. read more

I have used Heavenly Cheesecakes for every birthday cake and special occasion for over ten years. And, I have been overwhelmed every single cake or cupcake I have gotten from them. I will usually go in with some vague idea of what I want and they always hit it out of the ball park. The lady that owns it takes pride in everything she does and is so nice and goes out of her way to make whatever we order special. I had an unusual request and Phyllis at Heavenly Cheesecakes went above and beyond to meet my needs! My son was graduating from Embry Riddle and commissioning in the US Navy on the same day. We hosted a celebration afterwards, and wanted something special. Phyllis and team made gorgeous (and delicious) cookies with the Navy emblem on top, wrapped and decorated each one, and delivered to the restaurant where were hosting the party.
