Perfect coffee date or study session place, right across from a beautiful park with an amazing view of the water. Coffee is great, environment is even better, and service is top tier. I December going to Aura over any coffee shop in the ormond/daytona beach area

So this is the epitome of not judging a book by its cover. This little café is so warm and inviting inside and yet very unassuming outside. The barista's were very friendly and professional. The ambience is kind of coastal its cozy seating areas. I only had a cappuccino and a blueberry muffin, both were delicious. Looking forward to coming back and maybe staying for a while, enjoying the spot for working from home or meeting with girlfriends

I truly cannot say enough great things about this coffee shop! This is probably my favorite coffee shop of all time. You consistently get a great coffee every single time. They have many milk options for people who have allergies or intolerances. They use good quality syrups. They always have a fun and tasty seasonal menu but their regular menu always hits as well. The staff is always so pleasant and sweet and I love their decor with the green tiles. My only wish is that it was closer to me but on my days off I will happily make the trip from DeLand. They have both inside and outside seating and sometimes I'll even take my coffee to go and go on a hot girl walk by the river. I recommend this shop to anyone I talk to!

Absolutely recommend this little coffee shop on Beach Street in Ormond Beach. It looks tiny from the outside. There's only a few places to park on the road but there's a parking place behind them and across the street at the park. Now the coffee shop AURA Is a pleasant surprise along your beautiful Drive down Beach Street. Ladies,(servers) are amazing They take very good care of you. Help you with what you want to find to drink. Offer you a little biscotti for free. The dessert look fantastic. I couldn't eat them at this time because of my diabetes but, boy do I want to Alura, no relation to Aura Was our our sweet server. They are all knowledgeable about all their products and when we were there, they were updating their system. Reset on a comfortable bench inside but they have corner seating, outdoor seating and there is also a back room with 2 comfortable looking sofas There were people on their computer or just lounging around. Having a great time This is a must. Also, please put this on your list to visit

Awesome coffee shop! I've been to many coffee shops and this is the best coffee shop I've been to in Florida. The shop is beautifully decorated, very clean, and they had a great selection of coffee drinks. I had the cinnamon roll latte and it was excellent. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. I didn't get any of the pastries they had, but they looked wonderful. I highly recommend trying this coffee shop and I will definitely be a regular here.

Lovely little coffee shop! They have a really great menu and the barista and I had a great conversation! So much so, I had to come back the next day! Definitely worth checking out on your beach trip.

Cutest coffee shop in the area bar none! At least 3 surfaces finished in shiny mirror bits and the park across the street is lovely.

The new owners immediately made facility changes that vastly improved the look and feel of the shop. Not only new flooring, but the display cases, reach-in coolers, furnishings and other customer comforts. They "tidied up" the place and fixed stuff - exactly what was needed. They also expanded the existing menu without taking a blow torch to it. From my interactions with the staff, it was pretty obvious the owners were wanting to learn more about downtown Daytona, their legacy customers, and the changing market. Changes they made were mostly tweaks, all seeming to be received positively. Since the new year, it's obvious Serra Doce is leveraging all they've learned and have made major changes and improvements. They seem all in. There is now a brunch and à la cart breakfast and amazing sandwiches, pastries and fresh fruit offerings. Truly, Serra Doce has retained the best of why I've always enjoyed my coffees at this location, and expanded my choices with really amazing food offerings. The service is great. It's tough to keep staff these days, and like any regular place I go to, I do see new faces. But old ones too. All of my interactions have always been wonderful. It's why I come back. And it's still an affordable spot and, MOST IMPORTANTLY dog friendly and welcoming.

Thank you fellow yelpers for once again showing me the way!…read more From the outside this place is unassuming, but inside there were quite a few tables. The decor is just the right kind of kitchy and interesting to look at. There was a book of interesting facts on the table that we enjoyed. For me, the Thai crepe is everything the hype says, I loved it. We also got the egg baked in avocado. It was pretty good too. I would absolutely recommend The Red Bud Cafe if you're anywhere nearby.

First of all, I would like to say I like that they have vegan options here. I enjoyed the vegan crepes they had here and the matcha, the meatloaf was flavorful but very crumbly when trying to cut it to take a bite. The service was very slow considering it was not packed like the one other time I came here last year.. the servers did not check up on us except only to order. I felt like I had to beg for the server to come check on the table. The server was very condescending when speaking to us. I've been to many family owned restaurants and I believe they need to strategize better with customer service based on the experience I had. Also, be aware it's 0.50 cents for ice in your drink.. which is absurd.

I figured that they may be doing a Mother's Day Tea as most tea rooms do, but I had to message her on Facebook to ask as there was no information on it anywhere. She replied that she was and put us in for our reservation. The location is great- right across the a pier. There is parking outside, and after tea we walked around the park near it. While the tea seating was at noon, the doors did not open until about 12:15 as she got ready for us. Not a huge deal, but would have been good to know as it was hot outside. Once we got inside, the place is beautifully decorated. Teapots and teacups everywhere, lace and antique furniture, colorful and feminine decorations. She even had a photo station set up for Mother's Day and offered to take pictures! Since everyone was sat at the same time, the three tiers were already set up on the table, salads were set, and iced tea was poured. She came around to ask us our choice of soup (broccoli cheddar or greens and pork) and that came around as a second course with a mini quiche. Everything was great, dainty, and filling. On the three tiers was your usual afternoon tea varieties. Bottom tier were sandwiches. The cucumber sandwiches really surprised me as they were served topped with balsamic vinaigrette! I have been to a lottttt of tea rooms and had hundreds of cucumbers sandwiches and never seen that! It was amazing! The chicken salad sandwiches were on a store bought croissant and made with canned chicken (or that is what it seemed like) but they were still good! I believe she runs this tea room on her own and I understand that not everything can be home made. The scones made up for this- they were fresh, soft, and some of the best scones I have ever had. And again, I have had hundreds of scones! Unfortunately they were served with whipped cream on the side instead of a clotted cream or Devonshire cream, but they were so soft and fresh that they could go without cream on the side. The third tier was the sweets. Some macaroons, cookies, and mini cupcakes. Again, seemed store bought but the things that were homemade made up for it. The salad, soup, cucumber sandwiches, and scones were the highlights of the meal. She came around with pots of tea and poured those who wanted it, rather than taking orders. You could request types of tea to be made, though, so that was alright. It seemed like all the tea were types of celestial seasonsings tea which I love because I grew up on those. The Bengal Spice chai was made with milk which was lovely. This is the only tea room I have visited in Florida so far, but I would come back! I would love to come back for lunch or when it is not just 1 seated tea time. My family loved it, and as far as tea rooms go, she is doing a great job.
