What a great find! My partner and I want to try out as many donut places around our area to compare but also to experience all of it. I'm a huge fan of donuts, and this place definitely did not disappoint. You just point out what you want, so we decided to get a dozen of different flavors. There wasn't one that we didn't like, and we both thought this had some of the best donuts we've had. I shared them with my parents and they also raved about it. Food: I ordered a chocolate chocolate frosted cake donut and a chocolate frosted Bavarian creme donut and a small coffee with cream. The cake donut was fresh, average, but good. The Bavarian creme donut was super fresh, fluffy, and absolutely delicious! The cream was flavorful and fresh, the frosting tasted of real food. The coffee was fresh, not too weak. Overall, it was a tasty, good experience. Service: The service was quick, and professional. I appreciated being offered real half-and-half when I opted for cream with my coffee. I also appreciated adding as much as I liked and the place being open 24 hours, since my go-to, Fred Meyers, wasn't open yet (I'm not usually headed that way that early in the morning). Ambiance: Improvement needed. The tables and some of the chairs, were crumb laden. The customer seating area seemed kind of crammed and in need of a face-lift. I did like the uplifting pictures on the wall making light of all things donut related, though. The donut presentation was pleasant, no red-flags, like non-hygeniac looking display. Decent enough donuts. We order them on door dash at odd hours on weekends when the sweet craving hits. A bit frustrating you can't choose flavors and they throw in hella coconut ones which we don't like. And they never answer phone to let me try and let em know to not include those ones. There is not much in the way of bagel shops in Lacey, which is what I started looking for. After seeing heavenly donuts appear, I thought I would give it a try. They look like a great local donut shop & as I pulled into the parking lot, my suspicions were confirmed. I was greeted by a wonderful staff member and had plenty, and I mean plenty of choices. I had chosen three donuts, one for my significant other, who kicked me out of the hotel room which spurred on the whole needing to find a breakfast spot to camp out in. I apparently woke up too early for her and was making too many noises ‍. The donuts had a great texture and again, I was worried they were going to be heavy, they definitely were not! NOT OPEN 24 HOURS I have given my business here many times but this morning was a first for me. I was walking by around 2 AM (I chose not to drive drunk). The open sign is on, the "open 24 hours" mural is all over the place and I was told they're closed...front door was open for any patron to walk in. There were donuts in the case and I had cash in hand and was turned away. If you're not going to honor your 24 hours slogan, then you probably shouldn't have it. Their glazed donuts and raised donuts are soooo good. Light, fluffy, airy. Pillowy goodness in your mouth. Better than imagined when you drive by wondering. Much better than expected because looking at the old winchell's building that was turned into a cheesy blue building with a pastel rainbow, and a lot of busyness on windows.....but if you get past the outside, the inside donut showcase is proof they know what they are doing. What a treat to be able to stop and get some awesome donuts from this shop. We always go in to buy a few and end up buying a dozen. OH my heavens! My guy took me here after our spontaneous conversation about donuts. Where can you get a donut at 1am-he knew and we went! Holy heavenly donuts! If you want to try the most amazing cruller available then do here! I love the maple covered but the chocolate, cherry, white icing and glazed are all great too. It's like eating a fluffy, flaky buttery cloud. I have to get at least three to be content. All the doughnuts are great but the crullers are better than anywhere else I can find. Stopped in for our last night in Olympia before heading to Seattle tomorrow. Staff were super friendly and everything looked super fresh! There were tons of choices as well. I wanted to get half a dozen donuts and ended up choosing 5 and then telling the staff member to surprise me with the last one. A fritter should have chunks of fruit, not just sweet dough. So fritters are a fail. If they have any fruit it's a tiny amount. Plain old fashioned was good. Jelly donuts are nothing special, obvs jelly from a 5 gallon bucket. Other donuts are about what you'd expect in a good way. Service is always good and fast, even with a crowd. Love their doughnuts but a little on the heavier side. They have a great selection and are super cheap so I normally buy by the dozen. They're very quick too and open 24hrs which is great for a quick buy for a party. I love their French curlers here and they make them in glazed, chocolate and vanilla. They also have old fashioned slights for those allergic to yeast. And they have an interesting custard filled mini doughnuts they make there that covered is powdered sugar. They're not the best I've ever had but interesting. It's also great they have cold and hot drinks so no need to stop by a Starbucks on your way out! They had many options: several variations of raised rings and bars, several variations of cake and old fashioned, jelly filled, Bavarian cream filled puffs, turnovers, cinnamon rolls and donut holes. Each doughnut is soft and sweet, really tastes fresh (-1) star for the coffee I ordered but never received, the lady wasn't very friendly and when I initially ordered it I could tell she took the coffee order as a burden, and when she didn't include it on our bill, I took it as a sign to stop somewhere else for my coffee craving.
