Such a cute bakery! It's got seatings with plenty of natural light. Ordered two savory croissants and a chocolate and raspberry tart. The croissants were just ok, the raspberry tart was very good! Crunchy cookie outside and the smooth chocolate and raspberry jam inside. Not too sweet which was awesome. I would come here again.

Cute bakery in Olympia. Space is very big and there's lots of parking. Lots of savory and sweet croissant options. Got the turkey pesto which was ok - croissant was nice tho filling was a bit lacking and I tasted no pesto. Ham and cheese was just fine. Chocolate raspberry tart was beautiful and tasty

I've traveled to many places and countries, and Left Bank Pastry is still one of my absolute favorites and for very good reason. I've been a longtime customer and remember when they were just at the farmers market, so it's been incredible to watch them grow into what they are today. They've quickly become one of my must-stop places whenever I'm in Olympia. Honestly, everything here is excellent, but the Kouign Amann is on another level. Truly special and one of the best I've ever had. The quiche and croissants are also out of this world, they are flaky, rich, and perfectly executed. This is pastry done right. The location itself is beautiful: modern, full of natural light, and thoughtfully designed with places to sit and enjoy your food. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the coffee is great, which just completes the experience. Left Bank Pastry is the kind of place that reminds you why truly great bakeries are worth seeking out. A gem in Olympia and one of my favorite pastry spots anywhere.

The pastry you cannot beat! A croissant that leaves you in heaven! The perfect amount of sweet and salty with a flake that melts in your mouth. The ambience can leave you with peace for the rest of the day while the coffee leaves you with energy to take on any task. The price is reasonable and the customer service is superb. Now if only I can get a loft above the pastry shop so I could go every day.

First visit was a spontaneous rainy drive to their former location back on 5/23/21. And then a very long hiatus! Second visit was a spontaneous detour coming back from the WA Coast and luckily was able to get parking in front of their current location. Obviously Left Bank Pastry remains popular with a unidirectional line out front Monday 6/23/25 around noon. Once inside, one can gaze upon the lovely shelves of various pâtisserie and viennoiserie. Realistically one can't order one of everything, so the pressure is on to narrow it down to some faves to savor onsite and some to take home. Beautiful displays, welcoming counter service, and relatively clean seating area, minus some crumbs on the table and stray straws on the floor. After being on the road for awhile, I was also very grateful for clean restrooms. The Homie had a refreshing frozen passionfruit lemonade ($4.90), raspberry glazed cronut/doughnut ($4.25), and a savory reuben croissant ($4.65). After switching out the powdered sugar dusted raspberry croissant out of the takeout box, I savored the intended blueberry croissant ($4.10). Returning to the counter, I was also able to sample free buttered portions of their baguette. I also noticed additional fresh pastries being brought out from the production kitchen to replenish the display case and speed cart out front. We both halved and shared the raspberry passionfruit creme tart ($6.25), oh my that was immensely delicious! Despite being one day and four days old, respectively....I really liked the canele ($2.85) and the pain au chocolat ($4.25). Collectively all the French classics were on point. Business hours are Mon-Fri 7am-6pm, Sat 8am-6pm, and Sun 8am-4pm. A worthy detour in Olympia!

This pastry shop is adorable!!!! We just went for pastries and took it to go! We ordered the quiche, which was absolutely delicious and warm! The kouign Amman (not sure how to spell it) was absolutely delicious! It's so difficult to pick what to get, so we just need to go back and grab more! Staff was pleasant, no complaints there. Parking is a bit difficult and hard to find, and there was a line, but it is worth the wait!!

OMG OMG so fricken delicious. I'd like to eat these quiches several times a week if I could. Tried a couple flavor and the goat cheese & red pepper one was my favorite! All the desserts I tried were equally delicious. I think this is one of those places where you cannot order the wrong thing. I'm not from the area but will definitely be back here when I visit next time! Staff was incredibly kind and the place is clean and operates very efficiently!

Very good. Plenty of parking, lots of space inside. They had a nice display case. I ordered the lemon tart and the dark chocolate raspberry tart; both were absolutely delicious. Probably the best lemon tart I've ever had. I will definitely be back to try more tasty delights.

This is definitely the best pastry shop in Olympia. The pastries are French inspired and are very tasty. The service is awesome. You simply look in the pastry counter and tell the representative what you would like to order. Then they enter your order and you pay for it. Then, there is a slight wait as the kitchen staff assembles your order and warms up items they should be served warm/hot. I love the ambiance because it is a quiet place to enjoy your treats as you read a book or newspaper while drinking coffee or tea. You can also have a conversation with your companion. This place is very busy during peak hours and especially on weekends. Arrive early to avoid the weekend lines, but it is absolutely worth the wait.

Left Bank is a French bakery with a bit of a bougie vibe--in the best way. The pastries are beautiful and taste as good as they look, which isn't always a given. The space is clean and minimalist, calm without being cold. Staff is friendly and helpful, and it never feels like they're rushing you out the door. Parking's pretty easy with both street spots and a little side lot. Great place to grab something special or just enjoy a quiet moment with a really good pastry.

Our barista was kind of rude and, though we told her we would be a second, she stared us down until we decided what to have. For the drinks, white pumpkin latte, chai latte and an Irish cream coffee. The chai was spicy and the white pumpkin had no flavor. The Irish cream latte, however, was REALLY GOOD. The food, orange cardamom, maple pecan and early grey scones. The earl gray scone had a slightly off-putting texture and we realized it was GF (that was def user error) maple pecan since was good, so was the orange cardamom one. The tempeh Rueben, holy knock your socks off, that was an amazing bite. For being plant-based, it was spot on flavor wise, I was shocked! Oh! Super-pricey, buyer beware.

The danish was serviceable but wasn't anything special. Could be because it was later in the day so it wasn't as fresh as ones bought in the morning. The chocolate macaroon was ok, it was soft and flavorful with a thick slab of chocolate on top but similar to the danish in that it was fine, but wasn't the kind of pastry that blew me away or made me feel like I just had to buy it again. I left feeling mostly indifferent. If I come back I'd probably come early in the morning and try something else, or maybe the danish again and see if there's any difference.

I got a little bit scared when reading all the negative reviews about staff not being friendly and having an attitude. I was bracing myself but we had a wonderful gal serve us and the lines were so long and they were extremely busy that she forgot what iced tea we ordered so she gave us both! A chai iced tea and regular. It was so sweet. Also she forgot our croissant but then later comped us the croissant too! The service was amazing so I don't know who the other reviewers are talking about. Also the food was amazing. We requested the peppercini on the side and they totally accommodated and hooked us up. Our bagel sandwiches looked delish and packed with goodies and the pickle complements well with the bagel sandwiches. I also ordered the lemon meringue tart which was delicious. The salmon lox was also really good but we didn't care for the capers because it made it really sour. I would get it without the capers next time. Overall this place is wonderful and I would definitely come again to try their homemade bread/sandwiches next time! The lines are long for a reason.... It's good stuff! But the lines go relatively quickly. Just make sure you know what you want when it's your turn. Parking is basically street parking. I gave it 4 stars because I think it's a bit pricey but I would pay again because it's worth it.
