A store and they have a honey tasting bar!! So many types of honey and I appreciated that the signage had what to use the honey for! I bought a few different small jars to test and will be back for my favorites! The salesperson was quick with checkout and offered the honey tasting to everyone that came in. Fun!

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and Barbara walked us through our tasting. We really enjoyed trying each honey and talking about bees and honey. We bought a few different kinds because we loved it so much. It was nice and cool in there so we were able to get out of the heat for a few. Definitely a fun little shop to stop in at!

this was such a cool experience! i never thought that I would be able to taste the difference between different types of honey! the experience was so educational! definitely a must-try!

Thank you, Barbara for a wonderful honey tasting experience! We walked into this this cute little shop, because we saw a sign outside that said honey tasting and my kids really wanted to do the honey tasting instead of getting ice cream next door! I was happily surprised and I agreed to it. We sat down in stools and waited for Barbara to set everything up for the tasting. It's $8 per person for the tasting and you get to taste 14 different types of honey! Who knew that you can get honey in so many different flavors. Barbara gave us a small spoon with a bit of honey honey and explained the process for each one. Everything single hone was delicious, but my favorite one was the "orange blossom" my kids loved the crystallized honey lemon. After the tasting we decided to buy a container of the orange blossom honey and two small containers of the honey crystallized lemon honey for each of my kids. I loved how Barbara included my kids in the whole tasting process and made sure they learned more than one thing about the whole honey making process! Great experience! My family and I will be back soon!

This is some of my favorite honey in California. It's a cute store off of the main strip and the employee was super nice. I already buy this honey but I wanted to go into the store directly instead of buying it from another store that sells it. I highly recommend stopping by and getting some honey. You can also order online.

Honey tasting $8/person was so much fun! We got to try 13 different honey & learned about where and how it was made. Great quality, delicious organic honey, you can really taste the difference in all the flavors. We ended up buying 4 bottles: alfalfa, fiddleneck flower, orange blossom and wild blackberry.

This store is very clean, neat and tasteful (literally). They have a tasting bar of the honeys they offer and the man who ran the bar was super knowledgeable, to a science, of the honey options. We came in to find a Christmas gift for my mom and got the Fiddleneck honey since it's a super rare plant that only blooms every decade or so. Something unique. They have lots of other super neat flavors as well. I was impressed with the products and the price. They were super reasonable.

They have a 8 honey tasting for $5. You not only get to taste the various honeys, but you get a little lesson about each one. This gives you the opportunity to taste and decide which ones to buy.

I always stop by to get honey from here while visiting Ojai. You can do honey tasting before purchasing the honey. Last time I was here I bought pomegranate honey which was so delicious. Unfortunately they didn't have it today but they had other flavors to chose from. Normally the service is great here but today the person working here didn't even acknowledge our entry to the store. We were on our own. Looking and making a selection based on previous purchases. Overall a cute store that sells honey, tea and few other gift items. Check them out while in the area.

Absolute must in Ojai! The first time I came in I was helped by the owner and she told me all about the honey and how her and her husband started it. Now it sounds like her daughter helps out a lot - who I met as well and was super nice. Great family business to support. I bought the orange blossom, lavender and avocado honey the first time as well as their complementary flavored teas. Loved them all but was particularly drawn to the avocado so I bought plenty more this visit. I think it really depends what flavors your drawn to but they are really generous with their samplings so it's easy to find what fits you best. So happy the ship as well.

We did a honey tasting at Heavenly Honey, and we were so impressed with the quality of the experience. The staff member took us through a hypothetical tour of California while letting us sample 8 honey flavors, 4 of which were pre-selected and 4 of which we chose. The tasting was only $5! He was knowledgeable and kind, and we enjoyed our experience so much. The honey was exquisite and affordable, and they had jars of all prices and sizes. Our favorites were the lavender and honey. Definitely pay a visit to this amazing store if visiting Ojai!

My Ojai trip was literally short and sweet. Went for a day trip and I stumbled across this cute little honey shop. They sell different kinds of honey, and the best part is you can taste them! For just $5, I got to try lots of different flavors of honey. The owner was really nice and took her time to tell me about each one. The shop has a lot of different kinds of honey and other bee-related things. Whether you really like honey or just want to try something new, you should go to Heavenly Honey in Ojai. Overall, Heavenly Honey is a great place to visit if you love honey. The owner is friendly and the honey tasting is a fun experience. I'll definitely go back again soon!

It's located in a parking lot behind the main strip and in a residential area. All street parking but it tends to be pretty easy. There's a bakery vendors that I've had a few times but they do sell out quite fast. Their fresh baked bread and sweets are one not to be missed. This visit, they weren't there in their usual section so I assume they were pretty much sold out fast. Loads of fresh organic vendors with all their goods. As it was summer, there were so many vendors with amazing tomatoes. Heirlooms, grape tomatoes and so all. Everything all looked so fresh and I'm sure it was straight from the farm that morning. Also loads of other vendors selling their homemade goods, like soap to candles to everything in between. Majority of the vendors are fresh produce so you know you'll be picking up fresh farm products. Also fresh flowers are always a must when a visiting the farmers market. Can't forget the fresh berries and fruits. Doesn't scream summer without all the fresh berries straight of the plant. Regardless what you're looking for or not, I'm sure you'll always leave with plenty of fresh things at this market. Their items are always so fresh. A must whenever I'm Ojai. Prices are a bit more than Oxnard prices but I do think it's great to support local especially seeing the quality difference between local vendors and grocery stores. $13 for eggs still seems a bit steep for recovering from the egg hiked prices where they are now back to $6-7 in grocery stores. There was a vendor that sells sourdough breads and she was quite popular has she always had a line. Caroline's preservative jams are amazing in flavor and quality. I also appreciated that Centri Coffee was there so that I could buy some whole beans.

Love, love, love Frog Creek Farm. Can't believe that they have been in business for over a decade…read moreand I just heard about them recently. We had been to another lavender farm in the upper Ojai Valley some years ago and I was looking for that info to return. That one has closed, but thankfully, Frog Creek Farm is a wonderful "find" for us. The lavender full blossom season is short, so you need to check on them via social media to find out when they are open. Instagram has current info. It's a delight to pull off the Ojai/Santa Paula Road and mosey on to their property. They have so much to see, including their cutting garden of seasonal flowers, some places to sit at picnic tables in the shade and even swing (i.e., hammock), the gift shop, and the lavender rows - the main event. Larry provides a great introduction at the small stand adjacent to the flowering beds. He describes the location and how to identify the five kinds of lavender they offer for cutting. For 2025 pricing - $16 earns you a generous bunch of fragrant blooms. After orientation, you are off with a basket to collect the stems, and scissors to do your own cutting / harvesting. As promised, the plentiful bees scattered away as we leaned in to cut the stems close to the main host bushes. We wandered among the rows and filled up our gathering basket. Back at the stand, Larry tied our haul into a beautiful bunch. We proceeded to the gift shop to pay for our pickings, and I also found a few other items to purchase, including lavender-infused spray which has many purposes. Christel greeted us as we were wrapping up our visit. She filled us in as we asked questions about how long they'd been there, as well as about some of their products. She's as sweet and charming as the farm is. What a lovely place to visit. We'll be putting it on the to-do list next summer, for sure!

I knew Ojai was famous for its olive oils, but Carolina especially embodies mastery and craftsmanship as reflected in her offerings of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. As I was the only patron in her shop at the time, I was privileged with her showing me various unique combinations of balsamic and olive oil. She certainly lives up to the Italian stereotype of having good taste. She suggested against me buying food for my mother for Mother's Day, but she understood when I insisted that my mom is a foodie (where I get it from). Carolina herself is classy and refined, yet still so open and welcoming, all of which also is reflected in her store. It is thus no surprise that her shop has been around for over a decade. I hope her shop is there when I am 100! If there was ever a place to stop in Ojai, I would recommend this place. A truly unique experience, unparalleled. It gives you the freedom to taste everything at your own pace. You order the tasting first, then they give you a tray with delicious sourdough bread from a local bakery. The staff explained that the balsamic vinegars are imported, while all of their olive oils are produced in-house, except for the truffle oil since the local soil isn't suitable for growing truffles. After that, you head over to the tasting section where you can grab samplers of the olive oils and balsamic vinegars before finding a seat outside under the olive trees. The space itself is beautiful and peaceful. There were around 10 olive oils and 10 balsamic vinegars to try. My favorites were the TH (Tuscan Herbs) olive oil and the traditional balsamic. The flavored balsamics were interesting and fun to taste, though I still personally preferred the classic options. Overall, such a fun and worthwhile stop if you're in the Ojai area. We wanted a fun activity and saw an Instagram video of the experience. Overall, the tasting was super fun! Got to mix/match diff oils and vinegars and play around with the options. Ended up buying two of our favorites. One thing to note - They used to have cute wood boards with clear markings of the different types of offerings so that you could keep track more easily and it sounds like from the attendant they are bringing those back again (by popular demand). It certainly would be more aesthetically pleasing than a black plastic cafeteria tray. The bread served on our particular day was also a bit too hard so the inside pieces would crumble a lot. We were able to ask for another piece so that we could use the sturdier outside areas and they were gracious with that. However, for $20 really can't complain! With a few minor updates to the board/bread, they could prob sell this experience for far more $ and get more visitors! :)

I had no idea the magnitude of what I was about to experience. I sample kombucha every chance I get, and I can say with confidence that Revel has the best commercial kombucha that I've ever tasted! I had the pleasure of being served by Adam the owner, who is a superb beverage alchemist and has created an array of blends that are as beautiful as they are delicious. Revel is an apt name for these drinks as the sublime colors are as delightful as the pleasure of their tastes. The interior is spacious with minimalist decor, an attractive menu board, a feeling of earthiness with natural wood, and the clean brightness of white walls. It's the kind of place where you might meet a friend for a healthy drink, work remotely, or buy some growlers for a unique contribution to a dinner party. It was a gloomy rainy weekend, and I visited four times. I wasn't eager to go back out in the cold, and a few times I was the only customer so I had a chance to chat with Adam. I was intrigued to discover that Jun Kombucha uses honey instead of sugar for the fermentation process. I started home brewing Kombucha in 2011, and was taught that honey's antibacterial properties would block the fermentation process and kill the culture, aka SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast). Enter the unique Jun SCOBY which only feeds on honey. It was amazing to talk to Adam about his brewing journey. He poured me samples and it was difficult to pick a favorite because they're all so good. Even the bottles are a work of art carrying the theme of the business. Recommended 100%!
