    Buckwheat Honey

Had the best experience at the outdoor downtown farmers market today, finding Blue Ridge Honey. Jeremy helped me out. He was so knowledgeable about the honeys he carried and even helped me pick a specific one for my allergies. I had some on the way home, and it is DELICIOUS! Thank you, and like the terminator, "I'll be back!"

My most favorite Honey I have tried over 100 different kind of honey and this became my most favorite. Sage is my most favorite If you like light honey this will be perfect Golden color When I use for tea I add more bc lighter flavor. Orange is sweeter, my son's favorite is this one. Mild flavor Buckwheat is always best for allergy season I always keep this one to prepare for spring time Muddy honey This is #1 in last a few years I don't know how many I got or recommend to people who has after COVID issue. Wildflower is blend of everything flavor There are more so best is you taste your own start from small jar then find your favorite. Owner has such a long time experience and honest. I have been invited to their factory when it's extracts day. It's all NATURAL and done by hand!!! I truly love their honey and recommend to everyone with confidence

All around delicious honey. This family owned and operated honey business is the best in SoCal and Central Coast. Found at local farmers markets and can be ordered online as well. We love their California Orange Blossom, Ojai Wildflower, and Sage Honey locally grown and cultivated honey. This honey is wonderful in preventing and minimizing our allergies by strengthening our immune systems with its organic earth sourced medicinal healing properties. Wendi, Dave, Jeremy, Donavan are amazing and pour so much love, care, and precision into their beekeeping, a generational family wisdom tradition, according to my loved one who grew up with them! We will continue to highly recommend and enjoy their soothing and comforting honey sweetening and enriching the joy of our coffee and tea everyday. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Blue Ridge!

This local honey was the wedding favor at my sister's wedding in Santa Paula and it's by far one of the best tasting honeys I've ever had.

Anyone who buys fresh produce knows that sometimes a papaya, jicama, or other fruit can look perfect on the outside but end up going bad on the inside--that's just nature. What sets this place apart is how they handle it. If you bring it to their attention, they'll happily replace it at no extra cost. The same goes for their farm-fresh eggs. They genuinely care about their customers and stand behind their products. Their eggs are local, high quality, and incredibly reasonably priced for what you're getting. The produce is always fresh, and their customer service is exceptional. They once gave us a rue plant that wasn't looking its best, and today it's absolutely thriving. Another thing we love is their beautiful sunflower bouquets. They're only $5 a bunch, which is already a great deal. Even better, if you stop by near closing and the sunflowers are fully opened and at the end of their display life, they'll often give them away for free rather than let them go to waste. It's clear that this is a family business that values quality, fairness, and their community. We keep coming back because we know we'll always be treated honestly and with kindness. Highly recommended!

You can tell there's real care behind what they do. Everything feels intentional, from the quality of the meat to the fact that they practice whole-animal butchery and source locally through Hobson Family Farms. Love supporting businesses that are actually rooted in the community instead of just slapping "local" on a label. Also obsessed that they make everything in-house... jerky, sausages, beef sticks, bone broth powder, seasonings, even beef tallow. They also carry artisan bread, fresh produce, and organic milk, so somehow I walked in for meat and left feeling like a pioneer woman lol. The space itself feels warm, welcoming, and very Ventura in the best way. Clean, rustic, community-oriented... the kind of place where you can tell the regulars genuinely love coming in. It has that old-school neighborhood butcher shop energy but without feeling intimidating or pretentious. The staff was super welcoming and patient answering questions without making anyone feel intimidated. Whether you know your cuts of meat or you're just there because someone told you "trust me," they make the experience approachable. Honestly feels like one of Ventura's hidden gems. Made my husband very happy. He literally made flank steak the second we got home and was completely content. Now he's suddenly talking about buying a smoker!
