I came here with so much stress and this spa took it all away. The woman at the front desk was so welcoming and the attendant guiding me through the facility was a gem! I didn't end up using much of the amenities because I was too busy laying on the comfy beds in the quiet area :) immediately I was gifted a mimosa and there were only a few other women in there with me. It felt like such a safe space. I got a deep tissue massage by Brianna and that girl knows what she's doing. Do yourself a favor and book here. They also let you stay as long as you'd like after to relax. I recommend bringing a book! read more

Important tips: 1. The Spa is not at the Westin Hotel, it's located at the Golf Course Club House. The Westin provides a shuttle, but they also have a free parking lot. 2. Get there 30 minutes early to take advantage of the quiet relaxation space. What an absolutely amazing experience! As a birthday treat for my friend, we booked a relaxing day at the Heavenly Spa. There's a a nice locker room space to change. It also has a shower for after your treatments & a sauna. I started with a relaxation massage. Wow, it was phenomenal. The massage room is small and intimate feeling. The lighting is perfect and there was a pleasant essential oil smell. The bed was comfortable and heated. The spa music was perfect. My therapist did a wonderful job - the perfect pressure throughout the entire treatment. Next, I headed in for a facial. Another pleasant experience. Same feel as the massage space. Amy must have used 20 products on my face, lol. Everything smelled wonderful. Her massage portion was great. The facial felt phenomenal. Her pressure was nice and I truly felt like my skin was glowing after. Lastly, I got a pedicure. It was nice, but I probably wouldn't get another one there. The massage chair was a bit weak. This was my second time here and this time I did a couples massage with my husband and we truly enjoyed our experience! The check in process was easy and the gentleman working the reception area was kind and told us that we would get 10% off since my husband is in the military. I love how the locker room has lockers with a robe and sandals for you. I love how the attendant explains where everything is and if you need anything. I was able to change quickly and sit in the room with the relaxing ambiance. We were asked if we wanted something to get a drink and my husband decided on a mimosa and he enjoyed it! We were taken back in a room with two beds and were explained in depth on the experience we were about to have. I was asked if I had any areas that needed to be focused on and I did not have anything in particular. We also decided to do the hot stones and such a great idea! My masseuse did an amazing job and my husband's masseuse also did an amazing job! We both felt so good after our massage! We felt relaxed and limber afterwards as well. My friends and I were in Savannah for a girls weekend and were looking for a day spa with a sauna and steam room. Heavenly Spa fit the bill, so we made reservations for the four of us. Finding the spa was a little tricky, as it's located in their golf club building, but we made it. ALL of the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, they 100% get five stars. Now, for the two star part...the space was nice enough, however, it's clear that the relaxation space was minimized to accommodate more massage rooms. So, when the four of us got ready to relax prior to our massages, there was no room for us to relax. All of the chairs in the room were taken. One of their sweet staff made space for us in their manicure room, but the ambiance was much different than the relaxation room. Out of the four of us, only one really enjoyed her massage. My friend and I paid for the 110 min massages and both of ours ended pretty significantly early. I brought it up when checking out and was given 20% discount. When I returned back to the relaxation room, again there were no empty lounge chairs, so I shared my friends. Long story short, it seems like this spa is set up to maximize profit and herd you quickly in and out. I would recommend finding a nice local spot. read more

my husband and I celebrated our anniversary by going to the westin's Heavenly Spa for massages. Both of us were underwhelmed by the massages although all of the staff were friendly and attentive. HOWEVER, the locker rooms were not pleasant. The stream rooms and showers are VERY rusted out therefore making it feel more like Hell than Heaven. The Westin claims it is a high end spa but the facilities are not. Very disappointed. read more

If you are a Savannah local, you should take advantage of the Spa over at the Westin. I've had two treatments here and enjoyed both of them. I was not expecting such a "spa" experience from a hotel, but the treatment areas are so zen and relaxing. They offer the highly touted HydraFacial and some great product lines are available. The service providers have also been top notch as is the reception. The prices are a little steep and the sauna and steam need servicing, but overall, good experience and I'll return. read more

Lingeela (pronounced Lynn- gee- Lah) was Amazing. I have serious pain from my job and I booked an 80 minute massage with him that I do not regret! He is also a behavioral health counselor and really addressed some issues I was having with expressing myself and my stress/workload through opening and relaxing my entire muscular system. My rotator cuffs are feeling amazing, my back doesn't hurt, my neck feels 1000x better. He is a gift from God for those in pain. Excellent bedside manner. Wonderful and cheerful personality. Gave this guy a few big thank you hugs before I left bc he is amazing! No chiropractor, neurologist, rheumatologist, can hold a candle to the works he did for me today. My cousin and I spent our 50th and 60th birthdays respectively with a visit to this spa while staying at the Westin Resort. Our massage therapists Torriano and Darren did an excellent job and my cousin got a great pedicure from Priscilla. She had never had a spa treatment in her life so this was truly a magical experience for both of us. The fact that the staff put a sign at the entrance/check in acknowledging our birthdays was a very special touch that was appreciated by both of us. Great place just a five minute walk from the Westin resort. They also have shuttles to take you over here as well. I had a facial and manicure both with Tracey who has been there 9 years. I would highly recommend her. She's sweet, the team is great too and incredibly accommodating. I went on a Tuesday afternoon and they were able to squeeze me in. I'm a local in Savannah and needed a spa afternoon. From the moment I was seated in the sanctuary, the pampering began. I was treated to a refreshing mimosa as I waited for my massage. I had a hot rock massage that was nothing short of spectacular from a wonderful young lady named Krystal. She managed to relax me, work out a few major knots and send me off to "pamperville". Right after my massage I started my facial with an incredible lady named Erin. I upgraded my favoal with a collagen treatment. Talk about even more relaxation! Am I supposed to feel worse after a massage? I should back up a bit. I am an extremely tense person. I tend to stress out about, hmmm, everything, and that stress manifests itself in my neck and shoulders in the form of burly kinks and knots. So I usually jump at any opportunity to get a massage. With my husband working while we were in Savannah, I had a lot of free time, so I decided to splurge and get a massage at the Greenbrier Spa, which is an extension of the Westin Resort, where we were staying. I was hopeful it would be an awesome, kickass massage, as it cost nearly double what I usually pay in Seattle. Right away, I was impressed by the locker room concierge, a lovely older woman named Ms. Rose, who showed where to put my stuff and directed me to change into one of their plush robes and sandals. Then she took me into the Quiet Room, where I was welcomed to enjoy some tea, coffee and light fare. A few peaceful minutes later, my technician met me and took me to one of the massage rooms. We discussed my desired level of pressure - I decided my level of stress from the prior week at work was high enough to request deep pressure, something I've never really experienced before. And she didn't go easy on me. While it was a traditional massage, working all the essential areas - scalp, neck, shoulders, back - there were moments where the pressure was so intense, I nearly cried out in pain. But I figured, no pain no gain, right? Halfway through, she asked how the pressure was, and I was honest - it was a little too much, even more for my ubertense muscles. She eased up a bit, but in the end, it was still too much to handle. It wasn't really her fault, as I asked for this type of massage. But two days later, I still felt a little beat up. My muscles were really tender to the touch, so much so, I grimaced every time my husband caressed my back. That's not right, is it? At any rate, Greenbrier was a nice facility in which to get a massage. They offer many other spa treatments as well, such as facials, manicures, pedicures and wraps. But I'm not sure the experience was worth $120 plus tip, especially since I'm thinking I now need another massage to recover from the first one. read more

This was by far my WORST Westin experience ever. After having an incredible experience in Bellevue, WA at a Westin Spa, all I could think about is how my girls weekend in Savannah would be equally as fantastic and I would be talking incessantly about my experience. Well, the second part of that statement is correct. The spa is not attached to the hotel! Be prepared to walk because the shuttle takes forever to arrive and its an imposition for anyone to get the shuttle for you. When we arrived and checked in, we received a tour of the lady's locker room area by an attendant that we could barely understand as she mumbled about what each part of the locker room entailed and we figured she was showing us the sauna, towels and restrooms. Once we changed and put our robes on, there were shoes in our lockers and I wear a size 10 shoe. These things were maybe a size 7 and I felt like Cinderellas step sisters trying to make the shoe fit. Luckily my friend has smaller feet and we were able to swap pairs. When we entered and area called the "sanctuary" we were surprised at how unrelaxing this space is. We were told to wait here and relax, enjoy some hot tea and fresh fruit. First, there were no chairs. A large bridal party was hogging all of the chairs and when I checked out the tea and fresh fruit, it was a busted assortment of red apples and oranges in a bowl. I was greeted by the gentleman doing my massage within minutes of entering the sanctuary. I will be quick with this part: his hairy arms were not appreciated, I asked for medium pressure and continually had to ask to lighten up and I walked out in so much pain that I almost didn't want to pay. Oh, and he didn't use enough lotion so I felt like I was getting a dry rub which hurts! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. It'll ruin your stay to visit this spa. However, if you are EVER in the Seattle area do yourself a HUGE favor and visit the Truce Spa INSIDE the Westin hotel. Hands down the best spa ever and best customer service/experience ever. Shame on you Westin for allowing this experience to occur. read more

My husband and I planned a relaxing getaway to Savannah and wanted to have some spa treatments done. We were staying at the Westin so we decided to try their spa. First, upon calling they receptionist (I believe her name was Jackie) was really sweet and super accommodating. They had the times that we were looking for and all was set. She told me that they were not actually located in the hotel but just across the street. We could walk or have the hotel van drive us. The day of our appointments we decided to walk to the spa. This was a mistake. We had heavy rain earlier in the day and the parking lot was flooded. There was at least a foot of standing water in the parking lot. We had to walk all the way around the building and jump over puddles to get there- not fun but our own fault for walking. Please note that the spa facilities are also shared with the golf club. Not to sound snooty but something is lost at the spa when you share the locker, showers, and changing facilities with another outlet. I also can't understand why the Westin, which is around 10 years old, was not built with a spa in the same building. But I digress.. We were greeted upon arrival and were each led into the lockers and changing facilities. My female spa attendant was very nice but it was really hard to understand what she was saying as she mumbled through the explanations of where things were located. I was offered a mimosa or water which was very nice though. I changed and was led into the "Sanctuary"- a common lounge for both males and females waiting to receive treatments. I couldn't help but notice that the sanctuary was actually pretty loud- as the manicure and pedicure room is directly adjacent to it. Also my robe was quite skimpy and short. I'm not a modest person but I can see how this could be uncomfortable if there are both males and females also waiting in there. I had a massage done and I wish I could remember the therapists name. It was good. I give it a 7 out of 10. Next I had a facial by a different staff member. I wish I could remember the aestheticians name. A very sweet lady but her nails were pretty long. There were moments during my facial where I could really feel her nails and it was uncomfortable. I'm not sure why they wouldn't make her cut them. I like to have long nails too but in a profession like this I feel like there should be some grooming standards. After my treatment I noticed that all the drinks in the sanctuary were already cleaned up- I guess we were the last visitors of the day. I also used the steam and sauna and when I came out the beautiful pitcher with lemon water was taken away already. It's like they were cleaning up before people were finished. Pros: 1. Sweet front desk reception staff 2. Appointments ran on time 3. Facilities were clean 4. Complimentary mimosas Cons: 1. Location across the street is not a big deal, just a little inconvenient 2. Sanctuary was not relaxing- loud chatter from the manicure room 3. Skimpy robes 4. Music was not soothing at all- horrible flute music 5. Aestheticians nails way too long and scratchy 6. Shared locker facilities with golf club (not private, no spa ambience) 7. Staff started clearing things before all guests were gone 8. No recommendations or assessment from any of the staff regarding skin treatment, muscle soreness- nothing. read more

Facility is beautiful and very well kept. The overall experience is very spa like, but the massage itself was a little disappointing unfortunately. For the money you pay, you expect a very experienced therapist who knows how to remove tension and knots. My 80 minutes was a very light lotion rub down instead for over $200.00. read more

I hesitated going here initially due to the reviews, but they were the only ones who could accommodate me and my two friends at the last minute. When we made the reservation, they should have told us ahead of time that there was no parking at the spa since they were re-paving the lot (there is a shuttle service-we had to wait 5 minutes; seemed like forever, but really it was only 5 minutes). The facility is small, but nice and clean. My masseuse, Renee was really good. Since it was my first time in Savannah, she gave me some really good recommendations on where to go for dinner and drinks. The facility only has 3 restroom stalls, two showers, a small sauna, and a small steam room. I would not recommend booking here if you are going with a large group-it is just not that big of a facility to accommodate parties of 4 or more. read more

I had a horrible experience. The service was very uncomforatable and the room was cold. The employee that perform the service was extremely hairy, and when he massaged my back, it made my skin crawl. the noise of his bear hairy arms and lotion was just so UNHEAVENLY! A waste of my money. The spa director is rude and condescending. This place is an Embarrassment to the Westin name and reputation. If you are looking for a luxurious spa, try the Savannah Day Spa. They have amazing service, non-hairy employees, and comfortable rooms. read more

Date of service: March 24, 2016 I booked an 80 minute signature facial for my birthday. Marie was a my esthetician, and she was lovely. I arrived an hour before my appointment in order to take advantage of the relaxing amenities. However, I did not use the steam room or whirlpool, as I didn't want to irritate my skin or show up to my appointment a sweaty mess. I relaxed in the women's lounge which was very comfortable. I also had 4 cups of tea, the blackberry acai was my favorite. By the time Marie came to collect me for my appointment, I was in full-relaxation mode. Since I was unfamiliar with the brands (GM Collins Clinical Skincare and Eminence Organic Skincare) the spa uses, I deferred to Marie to choose the set she thought best for me. She chose the organic line for me, which I loved! My favorite part was the pear exfoliant. It smelled so yummy, and apparently, all the bits and pieces of the pear were in the jar. I thought that was neat. While the peel was setting in, Marie did the scalp massage. You can choose with or without oil. I chose to go with the oil. It smelled great (coconut lime). However, I caution you to maybe skip the oil if you plan on going out after your facial. It definitely made my hair very oily. Luckily, I had dry shampoo on hand, since showering (getting damp or sweaty) would have washed away the products of my facial. My experience as a whole was very positive. I definitely recommend a day here to pamper yourself. Also, after the service, I was given a complimentary glass of champagne, which I thought was a nice touch and a lovely way to wrap up my spa experience. Note on the front end crew: very nice and helpful. Also... I didn't get steam, nor did I get any extractions. read more

I stay at the Westin 30-40 nights every year but just treated myself to a Heavenly Spa experience for the first time. Thank you Vicky, I feel like a new person. Facilities are dated, massage wasn't that great, the sauna wasn't working and on top of that the massage room was cold and the therapist said there was nothing he could do. When I said something at reception all she could say was sorry. I did call the manager later and complained, and she was accommodating. I have been the to Heavenly Spa twice now and it was not heavenly. In fact, two of the three services I got were the worst I have ever had a spa and I frequent spa's often. The first time in August 2015 was a pedicure that cost over $80! And it was just a regular pedicure. The technician was very old - so old and weak that the massage was a joke - no pressure whatsoever. It was tedious having her basically caress my legs - yuck! The nail painting was okay, but she put some weird wax on it so they color was discolored. Total and huge disappointment. The second time in January 2016, I got a massage and facial. The massage was very good - no complaints there. The facial however - another very old technician who barely touched me during this supposed 60 minute facial. I paid for the signature facial - $135! First, she did not remove my eye make-up, in fact, she did nothing at all with my eyes. She did clean my face, apply a peel, some extractions, and then put on cream. That should be like $60 tops. The "massage" should have been a head and neck massage with arms and hands. Again, she barely touched me. It was awful. She applied no pressure at all and was basically lightly caressing my neck and arms. It was seriously torture - I would have rather she did not touch me at all than that. I even fell asleep while she was "massaging" my face because it was like fingertips on my skin and put me to sleep. When I woke up, she wasn't even doing anything, she was cleaning behind me and my time wasn't up. Maybe she saw I fell asleep and then decided to do her own thing. I don't know. I have had dozens and dozens of facials and this was by far the worst ever. Please don't waste your time or your money. This spa is very expensive and I will never go back. Huge disappointment. I will say, that the facilities are very nice and I enjoyed the complimentary mimosa. Or, if you go, request a younger technician who will actually massage you. read more
