So far, I have been extremely happy with Heaven's Gate Pet Memorial Center. The young man that helped me I believe his name was, Jason was so kind. I am now waiting to get the ashes back from my precious cat, Winchester. I loved that there was no hard sale. He showed me what they had to offer and when I said I had just had to get a new roof on my house and was having to rebuild my savings. He never said another word. Some people would just keep pushing for a sale, but Jason was very understanding he just nodded his head. When I was getting ready to leave, I had my cat covered because I couldn't look at him that way anymore, but I put my hand on the towel that had covered him and then a kiss. I told him I loved him. Jason then came over and gave me a hug and then I cried even more. That gesture met so much to me. And their prices were so much more reasonable than other places and I'm retired and on a fixed income, so this was also a big help. Now I just have to go back and pick up his ashes and that's going to be just as hard I think as leaving him there in the first place. I did decide to spend a little extra money and get his paw prints. He was a special boy and now I'm crying again as I write this. Thank you for taking such good care of me and I know my boy was handled with compassion and kindness.

I'm very grateful for this service. When we had to say goodbye to our dogs, the vets used the cremation services at Heaven's Gate. Our beloved girl was back home with us in two days. They have the ashes in a beautiful box, nicely wrapped in tissue. They include a candle and a heart-shaped key ring with this inscription, "No longer by your side, but forever in your heart."

My little dog Tater Tot unexpectedly passed away after a bad reaction to a vaccine. Of course these things happen on a weekend with vets being closed. I was not comfortable trying to preserve him at home until my vet was open so found your services on the internet. Thank you so much for being open on weekends and helping us with this process with compassion & efficiency. We were able to drop him off on a Saturday morning & got him back in a beautiful urn within a few days. It must be a rather sad job but hopefully rewarding that you make the process a little easier for those of us grieving. Thank you.

As difficult as it is to get a pet cremated this place is by far the most trustworthy place you can take your pet in its last moments. they are very caring and they take good care of you and your wishes. i asked them to save my beloved cats whiskers and they did just that, they even put them in a mini jar for me. i love my paw print i ordered as well, if i look closely i see a small kitty hair in it and it touches my heart seeing a small strand of hair left behind with her print. they told me 3-5 days but they had her ready in 3 which absolutely amazed me. If ever later on down my life I or somebody i know will need an animal cremated i will most definitely recommend this place. Thank you guys so much and i appreciate you guys for going above and beyond for my Tabby.

I looked for all the cremation services in my area and Heaven's Gate was the only one that fit the bill of everything I was looking for. I called to schedule to bring in my Zeus and we were helped swiftly. They have been doing this for a very long time I can tell there's a mood of being desensitized (which would be normal) but this did not take away the care they provided for my fur baby. It also did not affect the quality of service I received. It met all of my expectations. I chose them because of the stellar reviews on Google and Yelp. Like I told my sister, it's far from Sacramento but "only the best for Zeus". I was able to see Zeus one last time before he was cremated. I asked for his blanket and flowers around him to be included and it wasn't an issue at all. I didn't know that cremation takes hours and in the case of my Zeus, it took about four hours. My sister came down from Reno and offered to drive and she needed to get back since she was working the next morning which is why I opted for same day service. They offer a lot of upgrades on urns, necklaces with your fur baby's ashes, paw prints, multiple designs and engravings etc. I upgraded on everything BECAUSE I ONLY WANTED THE BEST for my Zeus. I picked the large square urn that has three sides to put photos in. However, I wished the quality of the urn was much better. I have a hard time taking the acrylic frame out because the sizing is a little off. There's very little give so one of the frame protrude just a tiny bit when putting it back in. It also is a little tight once the photos are added in. Other than that, I love that I can see Zeus on the three points of views. I upgraded with a necklace and picked one that was very pretty. It started discoloring on the back and the middle part on the flower came off so I had to glue it. I called to see if I can have it replaced and was very happy I can free of charge. I was informed that the one I picked is plated. They have stainless steels pendants for durability and I already have one picked. If you need a pet cremation service, I am confident to recommend this place. They met all my expectations regarding quality of care and service, and prices. Like I mentioned above, I only wanted the best for Zeus and they definitely delivered.

The circumstances bring us here were sad as anyone facing the loss of a pet can imagine. The initial phone call was handled with care and curtesy as I had questions but had difficulty stringing my thoughts together coherently. Once we brought our little dog in we discussed what we needed and and wanted. We were offered different boxes or urns etc but we were not pushed or rushed in anyway. The gentleman reminded us of our little dogs collar and asked if we wanted the blanket back we brought him in. We did, and they bundled them together for us upon picking him up. The place is a strange building so it was easy to see, and it smelled of cinnamon which was unexpected and lovely. The pick up was easy, and it was beautifully done.

Our hearts are so completely filled with gratitude for the beautiful and respectful way that they handled the cremation of our precious dog, Ziggy. I called Heaven's Gate the day Ziggy was scheduled to be put to sleep. A gentleman by the name of Josh answered the phone, and he could not have been kinder or more patient as I explained that we would be bringing Ziggy in later that day. He gave me general information, including directions. When we arrived that afternoon, the walk from the car to the front door felt like the longest, most painful walk of our lives. Josh greeted us and gently guided us to place Ziggy on a blanket covered, so appropriately, with hearts. Josh walked us through the process, and helped us decide on a few details. When we had completed the necessary arrangements, Josh told us to take our time saying our goodbyes, and he quietly left us alone with our sweet Ziggy. Three days later, we got the call that Ziggy was ready to be picked up. We were completely unprepared for the beautiful details surrounding the return of Ziggy's ashes. We were presented with a small bag containing Ziggy's beautiful cremation box, a memorial candle, a card with "The Rainbow Bridge" printed on it, the certificate of cremation, and a sweet keychain that read "No longer by my side but forever in my heart". The wonderful service provided by the beautiful people at Heaven's Gate made an extremely heartbreaking situation just a tiny bit easier. Being able to bring Ziggy back home in a dignified and memorable way...there is no way to put a price on that level of service. I highly recommend Heaven's Gate, and all the wonderful souls who work there tirelessly to help people honor their beloved pets. Choose Heaven's Gate. You won't be disappointed. To Josh, thank you for your extraordinary compassion and kindness. You will never be forgotten.

There are truly no words big enough to express our gratitude for the compassion and kindness that Dr. Megan showed our family during one of the hardest moments we've ever faced. It was on our son's 9th birthday, unfortunately, but it was also heartbreaking to see our little girl suffering and not getting any better. Dr. Megan took great care, and our son was able to say his last goodbyes, hold/pet her, and talk to her for as long as he needed--this process actually helped with the grieving stages because he understood that we did what was best. Dr. Megan explained EVERYTHING to us beforehand and ensured that before each phase, we were good to continue. After the process was complete, Dr. Megan allowed us time to cuddle and mourn with our baby one last time before she gently and caringly scooped her up and transported her to her final destination (Heaven's Gate Pet Memorial Center), where our fur baby was cremated. We'd sat down and picked out an urn and clay paw prints before the procedure began, and were able to pick those up from Heaven's Gate within a week! We are eternally grateful for Dr. Megan coming into our home (on VERY short notice) and helping our beloved fur baby, Véah, pass peacefully, surrounded by love and familiarity. We highly recommend Peacefully at Home Vet Services.

But I'm hoping it…read morewould be of use for those who may one day go through the same thing I had to endure this past week. This recent Wednesday, I got a phone call from my father that Keekee, our family pet for the past 12 years have passed on. I rushed to the house to see her, and I just immediately fell apart. I couldn't believe she was really gone, and I'm still trying to register it now. She was old and I have made peace with the fact that she may be leaving us any day. But the whole process was still very difficult to cope with. My family and I knew we wanted to get her cremated. But she was my first real dog. And the first one ever to leave me. None of us had any idea what we were doing. I went on yelp and typed in "pet crematory". There were two results that popped up for me. This being one of the two. None had any reviews so that wasn't helpful. I then searched on Google. This one popped up again. So I went on their website to get more information. I was a bit frantic and insane at this point. I didn't even bother sitting still to read anything. I just wanted the contact number for the place. It's a family owned and operated business. The couple are Cindy and Jeff. I called the first number on the site and Cindy picked up. She answered all of my questions like how much it's going to cost and gave me a good idea of how these things work. Basically all of the information I would have if I had looked through their very helpful website. But still, she was patient and nice about it. It was already past 8:00 in the evening and we live quite far from the place. But when I spoke on the phone with Jeff, he told me that it was okay if we wanted to drop her off the same night. I was so grateful! Their place was located in the country side. If Jeff hadn't parked his pick-up truck along the road with his blinkers on, there would've been no way to tell that it was the right place. It just looks like any other house along the dark and quiet road. But it's all right because we got all the help we needed from them. Jeff showed us where to pull up and he lifted Keekee's body from our trunk onto this metal table with wheels. He pushed it into the crematory room and pulled down the garage-like door almost all the way. This was a very quick process. Her body wasn't weighed out like I thought it would be. We then followed him into the house to take a look at the different boxes of urn to pick out the one we wanted for her. There were a couple of different choices. And the ones we were limited to of course depended on the weight of our dog. They also have different types of wood options. We chose the red cherry wood box with a frame slot for Keekee. He gave us some paperwork. It was to fill out her name, birth date, date of death, family's last name, and a few brief words for her along with my contact information. I really appreciate the fact that he was very honest with us. This whole time, since the moment I called them with questions over the phone, I thought Keekee was at least 100lbs. If she was 100-120lbs it would cost $200 (including the urn). When I asked him if it's $200, he told me she doesn't weigh that much and said that it would only be $175. He asked us if we'd like to pay then or the day we pick up her urn. I thought that was weird, but in a nice way how they didn't demand payment right away. We paid him that night and was told that it should be ready on Friday or any day after. My dad picked up her urn yesterday morning, and I finally got to see it last night. The urn was very nice and I love that there was the whole picture slot. We didn't know how to take it out to place the picture in though. I didn't want to mess with it and risk breaking her urn. So I tweaked with the photo and inserted it the ghetto way. (Hey, It works just fine okay...) Afterall, Keekee did grew up in the HOOD. I'm sure she wouldn't mind... Underneath the picture on a golden plate is her name in big print. Above it is the line we picked out. And under it is the date she passed away. We'll love you forever KEEKEE 09/26/12 They gave us the certificate of her cremation, signed and dated by Jeff. They even gave us a copy of the "Rainbow Bridge" poem. It has been really tough lately, but I'm so glad I chose out the right place for Keekee. Losing your beloved companion is truly like losing a close family member. I'd really like to give a big thank you to Precious Paws and Claws for making the whole process a bit easier on all of us.

We have a very dramatic (and wonderfully stubborn) senior Doberman that we rescued seven years ago. Nail trims used to be a nightmare because he refused to let anyone touch his feet, which often meant expensivevet visits and sedation just to get his nails clipped. Having Dr. Stacy come to our home eliminated so much of that stress, for both us and our dog. But what truly impressed me was how she helped us finally solve his chronic ear infections. We had been spending $400+ at our previous veterinary clinic every month or two treating recurring infections, only to learn that the underlying issue was never really being addressed. Dr. Stacy took the time to educate us on what was actually happening, how to prevent future infections, and how to properly care for his ears. Thanks to her guidance, he's been ear infection-free for months and is so much happier and more comfortable. She has also helped us better understand the needs of our aging dog and guided us toward a more effective care plan overall. At 10 years old, he's thriving. He walks around like the regal gentleman he believes he is, and I feel confident knowing he's comfortable, happy, and not suffering. What I appreciate most about Dr. Stacy is that she genuinely treats your pets like they are her priority. She has no problem getting down on the floor, squeezing into a bathroom closet, or working wherever she needs to in your home to make your animal feel safe and comfortable. Her compassion, knowledge, and willingness to meet pets where they are is something special. The convenience of having veterinary care at home is incredible, but Dr. Stacy herself is what makes the experience exceptional. I can honestly say every experience we've had has been positive, professional, and centered around what's best for the animal. There's a reason so many families speak so highly of her, and we are incredibly grateful to be among them. We feel completely spoiled having her care for our animals, and I truly cannot recommend her highly enough! The peace of mind she has given our family is something I will always be grateful for.
