I found this company through google. My beloved cat passed away unexpectedly and I honestly didn't even know where to start. Google of course gives you a lot of businesses but when reading the information for Angel Wings, I knew this was the one. I couldn't have asked for a better service that was provided. The owner was so helpful in explaining everything. He came quickly to pick up my sweet boy Rocky and handled him with care. He updated me with return timelines and Rocky's ashes were returned in a timely manner as promised. The attention to detail for my boy was so heartwarming when I opened the box. They included the rainbow bridge poem, a candle and a heart charm with an adorable inscription. Although I miss my Rocky boy, I feel as though I sent him off in loving hands until he came back home. I cannot say enough how much this company is appreciated.

Very communicative when demanding their payment but they are lousy in communication when it comes to delivering my baby girl back home. It has been a few weeks now and I have to be the one reaching out to them as they make promises they can't keep and don't follow up on what they say will do. Such a cruel thing to take advantage someone when they're at their most vulnerable when grieving. I doubt they'll even return the blanket like I requested. We'll see...

We lost our sweet 8-year-old girl Logan in the early hours of the morning to cancer. She had been with us since she was 7-weeks old and helped our entire family with her loving and loyal nature, especially my husband, after his last deployment to Afghanistan. We were a mess that day. We'd only learned of her diagnosis a day before and initially had an in home vet appointment to help her cross the rainbow bridge, but she left on her own accord just a couple hours earlier. Not knowing what the next steps would be, I quickly ran to Yelp to find a service just like Angel Wings. We have toddler and a newborn at home and taking Logan to the vet or taking a long drive to the crematory seemed like such a daunting task that would be the saddest drive we'd ever take. When you lose a family member such as Logan, you just want to do right by them. Even though she'd passed, I wanted her to be treated with respect and for my peace of mind--I wanted her to be comfortable and safe. When I saw that Angel Wings was available to call 24/7 it immediately gave me confidence that this was the route for us. Not only that, I felt that they answered with warm immediacy which was comforting and reassuring when you feel heartbroken and don't know where to start. They gave me a quote and timeframes they'd be available to pick her up. I was glad that I did not have to think of all the logistics and just be present with my family as we honor Logan. John was respectful of our time and of family who made their way to say their goodbyes. I didn't really know what to expect and didn't know how it would go--but with our experience, John came in with a rolling black tote for us to place Logan in. He offered to carry her in and place her, but my husband wanted to carry her himself one last time. We wrapped her in her favorite blankets and said a few words with her closest friends and family around her. So many tears, so much love and Angel Wings didn't make us feel rushed at all which we all greatly appreciated. It's so hard to say goodbye and being able to have that send off was worth its value for us. Also having her ashes delivered to us and not having to make another sad drive to the crematory is another relief. Highly recommend their services. RIP to our "first born", our sweet lady girl -- Logie. You brought us so much comfort and joy, buddy. Until we see each other again.

    Happy girl

When our perfect angel baby girl Violet passed from cancer in the middle of the night, John and Angel Wings showed up for us the next morning with much love and compassion. We at first tried others, but none of them answered (within business hours) or we kept hitting roadblocks with these veterinarians and other businesses. The process was leaving us hopeless and even more devastated than we were already feeling. Our girl was, and is, everything to us and it was important that she be taken care of with the upmost love and respect. John responded promptly to our needs, was so kind to us in our sadness; his patience and humanity was exemplary. I thank John and his family so much for all they have done for us and other pet parents in our immeasurable times of grief.

One of the worst days of my life was holding my beautiful Maltese Bella as she died of heart failure. She was our beloved little sidekick for almost 14 years, and I can't imagine life without her. It's like all the color left with her sweet soul. In the midst of my heartbreak and dread, I called Angel Wings for help. John was very caring and understanding, and he sent someone right over to pick up my Bella. I didn't get that man's name, but he was also so caring and compassionate. He took time to reassure me that Bella would be in safe hands and he explained the process to me. Bella was brought home today, in a lovely little box with her name. Included was a votive candle, a card and a keychain. It hurts all over again, due to that dreaded sense of finality ~ but I will always be grateful to John and his wonderful staff for their understanding and comfort. It made all the difference! Thank you for caring for my girl... the one who loved watching Animal Planet while she ate her dinner.

    This is my baby girl

This is going to be long. So it's taken me since October 29th 2025 to make this review. I lost my last girl and I had never cremated one of my girls before. All six sisters of her are in my back yard. So when my last girl crossed the rainbow bridge I wanted something different. I couldn't speak. I lost my girl of 12 years I could barely text. So it was nice that when I contacted them via text they responded very quickly. They gave me a quote and they picked her up fairly quickly too. They picked her up with dignity and respect. I was a nervous wreck when they came for her. I was balling my eyes out and the gentleman who took care of my girl knew the pain I was going through. When she crossed the rainbow bridge I placed flowers around her and the gentleman asked me if I would like for her to go with them. I'm thankful he thought of my pain. Not many words were exchanged. But it was enough for me to feel my baby girl was gonna be in good hands. Like I said I had never cremated one of my girls before so I didn't understand the process. I didn't know how long it was going to take. All in all they came and picked her up with dignity and respect. I was texting them for updates and they promptly answered my text (again I was in no place to talk to anyone). The best part of this was they hand delivered her to me. I don't know if I could have enough strength to go pick her up so I'm glad they provided that for me. The customer service is great and prompt. Their handling of my girl was very professional. And through all the pain and grief I was enduring they hand delivered her to me. I would highly recommend their services again. I have nothing but good things to say about this business. Thank you for taking care of me and most importantly my baby girl when I was in to much pain to think and speak clearly. They give you options as to what you'd like to do with your fur baby. Unfortunately I was in a tight squeeze and if I could I would of went all out for my baby girl.

I want to start by saying how extremely grateful I am to Angel Wings for the service they provide and for helping me so much through this really difficult time. As mentioned, this is still a really difficult time in my life as my dog and best friend passed away suddenly. It was an extremely traumatizing event and I really wished to have Prince cremated instead of buried. My boyfriend helped me along the way and found this service. It's a business ran by two really dedicated and passionate individuals ( husband and wife ) and my boyfriend spoke with the wife on the phone and they were able to drive out and pick up my beloved Prince. Our location was a little bit out of the way and further out for them, however they were so nice that they still came and picked him up, which that in itself ... words can't describe how grateful I am because I couldn't handle seeing him in that way let alone taking him myself somewhere to have him cremated... emotionally that would have been too much for me. They were very quick with pick up especially for the fact that we contacted them later in the day. I believe my boyfriend contacted them around 3:30pm and they were able to pick him up by 7:00pm ( mind you the place was a bit out of the way for them). I also want to mention that this was the evening before Thanksgiving . Im still filled with grief and I'm unsure if it's ever going to go away. Prince was a wonderful dog and he was my best friend. I am so grateful for the paw prints and the beautiful urn box along with such a pretty passage that brought my eyes to tears . The little details do matter and they do mean a lot to people, so from the bottom of my heart -- thank you. This won't take any of the pain I feel away, but it did somewhat bring me some comfort to have him here still with me. To be able to see his little paw prints which came out so detailed. It was a very emotional moment when I finally received the package. Everything was packaged extremely carefully with great attention to detail. I can tell they really care about their work. Thank you for helping me put Prince to rest. God bless you.

"My baby Brooklyn crossed the rainbow bridge when I was on vacation. I was devastated by the news and at the same time, I was looking for a place that could help me by going to my house to pick up my baby. I called Angel Wings, and they completed the entire process in a couple of hours. They also waited for me to come back from vacation to cremate her. I recommend this place 100% and thank them so much for the excellent job."

Honestly in 1 of the worst times of my life. To have my GSD Sammie pass in my arms late at night. John was there in 45 min to be kind caring and take care of my fur baby. They answered the phone, they showed up and have a true heart for pets. They have many of there own and really care. John told me understand it might be 2 weeks but he'll bring her back. And he did to the day. I was so thankful and blown away by the box and John's kindness. He took time to talk. Thank so much. Steve Banks

My kid (kidden) that Angel Wings helped lay to rest

I don't know where I'd be without Angel wings. I live in Carmichael and I came home to my cat unexpectedly deceased on a Sunday. My family and I were so distraught and had no idea where to turn to since most vets are closed on weekends, have limited hours and I've never experienced such a situation. I called Angel Wings on a whim and they swiftly picked up and a kind voice greeted me, his name is John. John quickly arrived to my apartment and gently received my boy and informed me it would be an 8-9 day process. He was very kind and soft spoken, it made the entire situation feel lighter because I felt seen. I couldn't be more happy with the customer service and care Angel Wings provides. I highly recommend them for your pet's after care. My sweet boy is home and resting beautifully now. Thank you Angel Wings.

Box of ashes. Paw imprint. Nice message with a plantable gift. Beautiful.

Our…read moredoggy was always terrified of the vet's office so I couldn't have her have her last moments in such distress and in the place of her worst nightmares, so we chose to go with in-home euthanasia. I 1000% recommend this route, if you have the option to do so. Dr. Bob helped make this as kind and humane of a process as could be, beginning from the first phone call. Out of the companies that our vet provided us, Peaceful Pet Passing was the only one that picked up to answer the phone. When you are dealing with finding someone to end your doggy's suffering, the last thing you want to hear is an automated voice machine or to be instructed to conduct the initial conversation via text instead. Dr. Bob picked up within the first few rings and the personableness and compassion in his voice helped us through the difficult conversation of understanding the process. Our doggy was a rescue who'd come from significant years of abuse and so was always very reactive to men. I'd shared this background with Dr. Bob and asked that when it came time, that he administer the first shot/sedative without our doggy knowing/seeing him. Dr. Bob willingly worked with us. Our sweet doggy didn't notice, and got to go with her eyes on us the whole time, peacefully lying on my husband's chest It was how I'd hoped she go, in peace and surrounded by love. Dr. Bob helped make it happen. In the last moments, when we carried our doggy's body to the back of Dr. Bob's car, we saw that he had set up a clean and beautiful bedding area, ready to receive our doggy. It's so hard to let go and place your doggy's body down somewhere where you're not, so seeing the beautiful and respectful set up helped make it easier for us to let go and say goodbye. He also coordinated with the crematorium so that we could personally pick up our doggy's ashes sooner rather than later, at our request. Before the week was over, we were able to bring our doggy's ashes back home. It was a swift and easy process. Usually, the ashes are mailed back, but we wanted our girl back home with us. Thank you, Dr. Bob.

I've been a complete wreck for the last week and even considered a place in Los Angeles, but I chose Valley Pet Loss Center after speaking with Donna. In short, it was a drive and it was the most difficult thing I had to do in my life, but I'm glad I did this for her. I chose the private cremation with same-day pickup. Donna, the other gentlemen in the office, and the two techs were all wonderful. I can't thank them enough. I know it's a tough job and they must see people like me all the time, but they were all sympathetic and let us know what's happening throughout the process. I called Donna with questions 3 times and she answered patiently every time. It's been so hard even thinking about what happened, but I feel it's important to post this for others that are in the same situation. Here's how it worked. We paid for the following * $320 private cremation * $150 same day pickup * $50 clay paw print (totally worth it!) * $20 ink paw print (if you want witnessed cremation, it must be in the morning and I believe it's $300 more than the same-day. This will give you time with your baby in the cremation room and they will set your baby out nicely before the chamber is even heated.) First, I scheduled a time over phone. We opted for the same-day pickup because I couldn't stand leaving my baby there. If it's for a same-day pickup, you need to choose your urn and what you want to have put on the label. On the day, I thought I was ready, but it turned out I was a complete disaster. I recommend having someone drive you while you have your baby on your lap. Bring tons of kleenex and water bottles. The last drive together. We arrived. It's an office complex. The heat and smell of ash. Donna walked me through if I wanted Paw Prints, YES PLEASE and I paid. The bamboo urn was really cute, but once again broke my heart that the baby I wrestled with is going to become that small by the end of all of this. Donna placed the ID tag on Cashew's leg. This ID tag is unique and will be what's left with the ashes. That ID tag will be placed on the bag with the ash in the end to ensure that no mix up should occur. We got to spend time with her in the quiet room. Trust me, we went 30 mins early and we were still late. It's impossible to say good bye so have a cut off time in mind. I'm still not ready even after the cremation if that makes any sense. I can't believe I can never touch her fur again. Totally crushed and I don't think I can ever recover from this. Tech gently knocked our door and asked if we had any questions on the process. She told us how much time it will take and told us we need to start soon if we want to pick her up the same day. We asked if she take her favorite items to cremate together. We gave her favorite snacks she used to wake up to just from the smell and the bones she used to hide under her bed and the blanket she used to sleep on. I didn't want to give her the blanket. The blanket she slept on, but I thought she could use it in heaven. You can go up to the door of the cremation room. The door has a window, but you won't be able to see too much. The tech took 30 mins to make the clay paw print and the paw print. Once the cute paw print came out, I was so happy that I received an art work from Cashew. Quickly after, reality sets in. You can't see your baby enter the chamber, but you can see your baby there and the flame reflecting against the wall. This was hard to watch and I broke down, but we wanted to be there for her until the very end. The gentlemen working there handed us kleenex. The tech was very respectful and only showed us her back. Then gave us a thumbs up with a smile once all was done. During the process, you can take a 10min walk around the corner and we printed some special moments at CVS's photobooth and ate at a cafe. I didn't realize I didn't even eat much that morning. I was hungry, but still couldn't eat. 1.5 hours later, Donna called me and said "Cashew is ready!" I didn't realize until then, but Donna always referred to my baby as "Cashew" like she was still there. Not like "your cremation is done" or "your dog's ashes are ready" I really really appreciated this. It gave me joy that Cashew is still there. Thank you. I hope this review can help you through this difficult time. Our babies are the BEST and I know you're reading this because you care about your baby so much that he/she is taken care of even after death.
