I am US permanent resident, and I went to this "premium" office for so called "expert" help. Nevertheless, my preparer, Jacklyn Fonorow, is as far away from that as possible: (1) It takes me 4-5 trips of at least a couple of hours to prepare this return with her, even though I have all the necessary paperwork ready and arranged. My previous preparer (in Washington, DC) took this same paperwork, prepared my return, and verified it with me in a single sitting of two hours. And he was cheaper! (2) She makes so many mistakes in the preparation that I have to go through the return line by line to verify each and every detail. This was never the case with my previous preparer! Outside of my office appointements,I at least spent 12 hours verifying my returns! (3) She couldn't handle simple multi-state return! I had income from IL and NJ, and my wife had it from PA. She couldn't figure out how to get the software to "behave" and tried to overwrite softwares suggestion with incorrect numbers! I was so uncomfortable that I prepared the state returns again and filed them myself even after paying about 200 bucks to H&R block for the preparation! (4) She overcharged me for the tax preparation fees, and I have been trying to reach her with no luck for the past 3 weeks. I even called and texted on her cell phone and got no response! Have left multiple messages at the office because this "premium" office is by appointment only! All in all, I have nightmares about this office! Please do not use it!
