While the prices at Home Depot and Lowes were much better, I decided that it would be worth it to have a local company in case of problems or the need for future service. What a mistake. The prices were high to begin with and then they tried to screw me by hitting me for all the extra charges that were part of the original deal. For example, they didn't know they were going to need adhesive for tile? The attitude was terrible, they were extremely difficult to work with. It took weeks to get them to put estimates together because everyone has reduced hours, supposedly because of the economy. I used them for wood flooring and tile work. I wouldn't use them if they were the last business on earth. I never bother to write reviews but i couldn't let someone else endure this if it could be avoided. Avoid these people at all cost. Lowes in Gilford is very friendly, has good prices, provides estimates promptly and shows up exactly when they say they will. I am in my fifties and have owned and renovated several homes and this is literally the single worst experience with a small business I have ever had.

Within a couple hours I had the carpet picked out, costs finalized and timing for installation planned. When it came down to the installation, Ron and his employee were on time. Painters told them to come back and they said no, that they had a job to do. Ha! The carpets were installed perfectly. Ron and Loretta (the owners) were very professional and just nice people. The installation resulted in gaps under the tiles, misaligned tiles, grout lines that are a different width than the adjacent porcelain tiles, tiles that are chipped from leveling clips, and a transition that is a trip hazard. Seacoast Flooring has not been responding to any communications. Complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's Office. I placed my order and was told it would be in on Tuesday morning. It was almost noon so technically it's still morning, yet only part of my order was in. They didn't notify me ahead of time or apologize just said that the distributor made an error, forgot to include it on the truck but promised that it would be there on Friday. They do NOT deliver so you have to pick everything up. Went there on Friday but they still didn't have everything...had to make another trip back to get the rest of my order. No apologies, no discount for the trouble. It's a 35 minute drive there every time it's not like I live around the corner. My advise, get your tile from Lowes or Home Depot. They are less expensive, the quality is the same and they care about their customers!

They are extremely professional in the entire process. They came and measured and gave us a date for installation and showed up on time! Milford did a two story hardwood installation 20 years ago under a different owner and did a fantastic job. They still have the same great installers working for them. We are having them do a total house hardwood installation in August because the house needs it and we love their work. The prices are competitive with the big box stores and there's no confusion as one or two men do the ENTIRE JOB!! This company is professional in every aspect of the job they are hired for.
