The masseur was so intense it was actually hurting me. He did not check in once to ask if the pressure was okay I was jumping around the table because the pressure was so hard. He was dry rubbing me it was not relaxing at all. At one point he left the door open while people were in the parlor and I was in my underwear I had to look up so he would shut the door. Also, I never got my foot massage. I still tipped over 20 % but i probably wouldn't return unless a manager reached out and offered me another massage with a different masseur. Also, the people waiting were so loud and no one asked them to lower the voices. They literally were talking the whole time loudly until they man and woman went into their appointment and then were quiet. It was just over all bad experience.

I think she could tell as she was feeling for tenseness and such. This place is more of reflexology/thai massage type place so more use of other body parts to massage (elbows, forearms, etc...) not just fingers. They also had the pole for walking on your back if you're into that and request it. You're guided down a narrow hallway to another room, equally dim, with soft lighting and comfortable massage tables. It's the kind of place where you know the focus is purely on relaxation. The two women who greeted us were warm but spoke limited English, which led to a bit of communication hiccups. But no worries -- Google Translate came to the rescue, bridging the gap with ease. They were friendly and attentive, asking us whether we preferred a "hard or medium massage." We both opted for "firm," and in hindsight, that choice was great for our feet. The foot massage itself was nothing short of therapeutic. They worked the pressure points with precision, sometimes pushing so deeply it verged on painful -- but in the best way possible. It's the kind of intensity that makes you feel every knot and tension melt away. Back in the Providence days I saw many but Jenna was awesome and helped me so much. I've been with EG office as I've always lived in Coventry the whole time but love the selection of therapists that body kneads provides. I stumbled across Heidi a couple/few years ago at the EG location and honestly I don't know anyone who knows what I need more...not everyone is the same but pretty amazing talent resides here. I've been getting massage for 20+ years...I'm impressed! Everyone has there preference by t that s place is quality.
