Absolutely horrendous service. They broke my car mirror during a service appointment, deny any responsibility and I'm stuck with the bill.

Consistently Horrible service Any appointment gets "pushed" by three hours. A tire change, for example, takes three hours. The "service advisors" always try to "upsell" services - which are massively overpriced and poorly done ( eg wiper blade change done incorrectly). Better to go anywhere else read more

They do not hold up their end of warranty! My $60k vehicle is still within the first 3 year warranty. However, not only is the seal of my sunroof tore, but the side panel is gapping. Warranty won't cover as it's a panel replacement, not a clip replacement. No collision damage, no mark on vehicle what so ever, however they will NOT cover under manufacture warranty. There is no reasoning why, either. Poor customer service, poor client support. Save your money and go somewhere with more integrity! read more

I was hearing a noise as I was turning right. The car is less than 1 year old it didn't make sense. I got my car looked at by 2 outside mechanics saying that my wheel bearings are bad. The 2 sources said withing 10 minute check that it was the wheel bearings. I took it to Heffner Toyota told them of the noise and they took 5 hours to tell me nothing was wrong with my car the noise is normal for these cars and lexus. I told them before I picked up my car that they should take a look at the wheel bearings and test drive it. They called me back with an hour and said there is nothing wrong, that I can come pick my car up. Went to pick my car up and freaked out on them the manager came and said he drove the car and that is normal for a high end car. Took my car to get the noise fixed. They replaced the wheel bearing and gave me the old 1 to show Toyota. The noise is now gone. Toyota either don't know what they are doing from employees to managers and the car is still under warranty it is a 2020 camry. They do not want to do warranty work and they do not stand by their vehicles. I will taking this matter to higher than the manager and also posting it in the news paper that Toyota does not stand behind their vehicles and warranty. The better business. Horrible service. They were more interested in paperwork and killing trees than customer service and keeping our vehicles running safely. read more

Took my car in today to have summer tires put on- way over priced and miscommunication for this service prior to my appt... also was told my car would be cleaning inside and out - only to find out that they wash the outside only. I'm really disappointed in this appt today and not happy paying over 100$ to put tires on. If I would have known all this I would have never booked this appt to have service done here. Hello guys, few days back I went to Heffner Toyota for vehicle service, and I had very bad experience. When I was heading back to my home that time, I had conversation with one shatter driver Mr. Jim and I got to know several inside things from him about Toyota like the service advisors call to customer for multiple times to manipulate about unnecessary services just to get our car for repair in the company and that leads to charge payments for unnecessary parts and charge customer extra hours, their main targets for manipulations are women's/girls, they sell alignment and transmission fluid to write more hours, they say recalled and sell extra parts, and the sad part about Heffner Toyota is service advisors do this things just to get commission. The worst part is at the same time during my trip Mrs. Jim tried to sell me a water softener. read more

I purchased a new vehicle from this dealership and it had to go in for some warranty work. The dealership damaged my headliner and several of the garnishes while completing the work. The car was brand new and was given back to me in a terrible condition. Unfortunately, I can't add pictures to show just how brutal this dealership is. NO STARTS if possible, for the WORST customer care and service. Both the Dealership and Toyota do not take any responsibility for a known manufacturer defect/design flaw that has a "Tech Tip" supplied by Toyota. Instead they place the blame on the customer and tell them it's their fault, when it's clearly not. Then they suggest putting it through your car insurance to pay for the repairs which were over $6000 on a 2020 Rav4 Hybrid. All the while they refuse to provide a rental or loaner vehicle while I paid for a rental for a month because the vehicle was useless without the repair. You're told you'll be taken care of if anything should go wrong and that you're part of the family and they truly care about their customers, but it's NOT true at all. The Dealership and Toyota simply DO NOT CARE about anything except lining their own pockets. It's despicable and unconscionable behavior. Shame on you Heffner Motors and Toyota Canada. As far as the car dealership goes this is as good as it gets the building is clean bright all of the staff are very friendly and helpful the selection of product obviously Toyota is good. one of the few dealerships that really tries to make you feel like one of the family, which is their motto. they have Christmas parties for children no pressure on buying a new car. they also have Mother's Day and spring parties for kids they do try to do a community service. overall for a car dealership it is much beyond the standard you would expect. their service department is probably among the best in the KW area. they have an express lane for lubrication no appointment required. any other service is usually done very well the pricing is reasonable and the quality Beyond Compare. read more

Not a happy camper. I have been dealing with this dealership for sometime. And have been treated ok. But over the last year it's taken a turn for the worst. My Tundra was rear ended in a accident so I took it to the deal I deal with anyway and just happened to be a dealership the insurance recommended. They are not a good shop to deal with to say the least. They will cut corners in order to make the insurance company happy. I strongly recommend NEVER TAKING IT TO HEFFNER TOYOTA body repair shop if you want if fixed properly. I'm now fighting with my insurance company because what a inexperienced body shop manager told my insurance company that just was not true. And I'm left to deal with the mess on my own. You would think a loyal customer to the dealership would be treated far better. So disappointed. Word to the wise Don't ever go to dealership the insurance recommends and AVOID HEFFNER BODY SHOP ALTOGETHER if you want your Vehicle fixed properly. After a full year of absolutely laughable dealings with Heffner Lexus I have decided to leave this review. Most dealerships want to build a strong relationship with their customers that lasts many years. This is what I thought my family had with the Heffner dealership. Over the last 18 years we have been loyal customer; always buying our vehicles from Heffner's. As the years from University graduation rolled by and as family needs changed our car purchases have become more frequent. So this brings me to my story. We purchased a new 2017 RX350. We decided to add a front hood deflector to the car for $300. Little did we know that this deflector would loudly vibrate whenever you exceed 100 km/hr. I put in a call to Lexus Canada who basically told me that they do not warranty the item to work above the speed limit of the jurisdiction the vehicle is driven in. The Lexus representative then went on to lecture me about speeding over 100 km/hr and told me I would have to talk to the dealership about the issue. I got in contact with Heffner Lexus about my issue with the front hood deflector. The service department removed the deflector since they had no remedy for the issue. Now this is where things get laughable. Lexus Canada says it's a dealer issue and the management at Heffner Lexus say that they have to do a research paper about the issue and submit it to Lexus Canada before any type of refund or compensation could be done. This was 12 months ago. They continue to sell this product even though it does not work. The RX350 is a fantastic vehicle, but beware Lexus Canada only stands behind its performance up to 100km/hr. In the last 12 months I have tried to reach different managers to get a resolution to this issue. Each time zero calls and emails have been returned. I reached out to my sales person who was the only person to actually return my email. The sales rep and the service advisors are great to deal with. Sadly they have both said that any sort of compensation must come from the Managers (Management team) and approved by the Heffner's. I have been given the following excuses: 1. They are doing a study on the issue 2. The Manager of that department is ill 3. There is new Manager who will take care of this 4. The cheque should be ready tomorrow (my personal favorite since that went on for 8 weeks ago) When deciding to post this review (I have never filed a review on Google before), I could not help but notice the amount of other complaints by former Heffner customers who were told they would be contacted by the "Management team". Only to see other follow up comments that no one ever did contact them and the problem remained unsolved. Basically Heffner's has grown so large that they don't care how many customers they lose since there is another one around the corner. This strategy is very near sighted. The issue of the $300 not being refunded is one thing. The apathetic way this was handled was my main reason for finally making a review. Heffner Lexus hoped that if they ignored me long enough that I would go away. So my final thoughts on this matter are this; if you are planning to purchase a vehicle from the Heffner's just don't do it. The ineptitude at Heffner Lexus and their Management team will now cost them our business, the business of family members and the neighbours who currently buy from there but have decided to go elsewhere after hearing my story. Going forward we will be getting our vehicles from Lexus of Oakville. They have been excellent to work with and I look forward to building a relationship with them. Their prices have also been significantly better then Heffner. Heffner Lexus you can keep the $300. You just lost a long term customer and many car sales. read more

Been dealing with this dealership since 2007. Wouldn't go any where else. Toyota is already a great car and their service is excellent.

Will 100% not be returning. We brought down our Lexus for the recalls to be fixed on it and were only told it would take 1-2 hours and also asked for a loner vehicle for the day. The loner was given to us with barely any gas in it and it was all dirty inside. When we returned 3 hours later, the vehicle was still being worked on and we were told we would have to wait another hour and a half. We then asked to test drive a vehicle and noone further approached us about it during that time. We also waited almost 3 extra hours for the vehicle. So a total of 4 and a half hours for everything to be done. When we got the vehicle back there was parts the mechanics would have used to remove the interior left in the vehicle, and they used a cloth that was already in the vehicle to "clean" the vehicle. When we asked for a small key chain for the wait, the part lady said she didn't have access to those and we couldn't have any. Overall, bad experience and we will NOT be coming back. read more

Most part they been great . For the past few oil change service been very poor. On my wife's Camry they forgot to put enough oil on it . My oil light came on and had to put 3 litter of oil .. These guys are AMAZING! I was rear-ended pretty hard in December and they did such an amazing job repairing my Corolla. I couldn't believe it - she looked as good as new! You could not even tell she was ever in an accident. They even detailed the inside to perfection. With the condition in which they returned my car, I'm almost glad that lady hit me! The service was great, too. This was my first car, I'm female, and I've never been in an accident before. They answered all my questions and explained everything to me without making me feel stupid. To clarify few personal points of view first before going to details 1. I believe that review is the place to share experiences with anyone who is looking for dealship services before make your decision where to spend your hard earned money, to get the product and service your money deserves, so I will share ALL FACTS happened to me, decision is yours. 2. I consider myself as loyal customer with high tolerance, which means if I am happy with one product or service, i will stay with it, even something went wrong, I am willing to give second chance to correct, since we all make mistakes in our life or work, as long as willing to improve and not repeating same mistakes. 3. To prove the point, I have my Lexus services done in this dealship, Lexus side, in the past SEVEN years, inculding parts and services, all happy experience. Because of those good experences, I bronght my Toyota RAV4 into this dealship, Toyota side, for service, even there is Toyota dealship in my city, I drove 40km to Kitchener, simply because I assumed at same dealership, the level of service will be the same. The FACTs proved I was terribly wrong. Here are the facts for your refence: 1. My car has noise on back end, so I bring it into this dealership on Apr. 13, 2017 for inspection of issue, after 4 hours, I got report, comments as following: "Went on road test at city speeds, heard rattling sound intermitanly, inpsected on hoist, found muffler heat shield has fallan down, rec replacing heat shield" "Inspected found muffler is leaking, rec replacing muffler note-viscous coupler has been leaking, both rear axel seals are leaking, and front diff is slightly leaking, rec realcing coupler, both rear seals and change diff fluids" 2. To address the FACT at this point, I PAID $123.17 for the inspection by certified technician. Estimation is about $2,000. The cost is high, but I trusted the professional recommandations, so I booked appointment to fix the car. The earliest appointment is May 2nd. Because they want to keep it with same technician, I understand the responsibility part, so the only thing can sacrifice it's customer's time! "your time is valuable for us!" Anyways, So I dropped the car off May 1sst evening, so won't impact any available time for technician. 3. To address another FACT here, I did NOT declined ANY recommandation for repair. 4. So I picked up on May 3, paid $1841.04 for ALL recommanded repairs, to mention the FACT again, ALL repairs as recommanded. 5. After picked up the car on May 3rd, we can still hear noise from rear side, not as bad as before, intermittenly! We try between both of us without radio and windows down, busy and quiet places, just to be 100% sure, after confirmed the noise, So we brought the car back in May 25 6. On May 26, service rep called me indicated:" rear wheel bearing is making noise!" the total cost is about $590 7. To address FACTS here again: a. I PAID for professional inspection, and this issue not indicated on report! b. I didn't decline any recommanded repairs c. NO phone calls to inform me more issues found during repair d. After repair, any dealership or mechanic will drive the car to ensure fix properly e. NO recommandation when I picked up the car to inform me more repair needed f. I found the issue right after picked up the car and confirmed by technician later, I am just end user, not pro. 8. With explained all of my concerns to service rep, he said:" I will bring your concerns to service mamager and assistant service manager, you should receive a call from them on Monday", this was May 26, Friday! 9. Same time, He asked me:"do you still want to fix the issue?" I said:"Yes, I can't drive a car with issue all over the place!" 10. The FACT is, I have NOT receive ANY phone call from neither one from the service department. 11. On May 29, when I follow up with service rep, he said:" I did discuss this issue with our service manager and assistant manager, we believe that our repair is accurate!". 12. When I follow up with the service rep on May 30, the part still not at dealship yet, I have no car to drive for 6 days now, considering working couple, kids club, weekend activites! 13. So I can't afford neither time or money for this game, I picked up my car to get it fixed properly somewhere else, on May 30, I picked up my car, when I drove back to home, the noise even louder, especially when engine starts and stop, slowly run over speed bumper, I recorded the noise for my record. 14. When I picked up the car, to be fair, the service rep said sorry, I don't blame him, since he is the middle person between technician, manager and customer, he can't make a decision how to fix the car or what to do without approval. He also said: "I put our service manager and assistant service phone number on the report, if you like to give them a call!"
