I know a lot of lawyers personally but had never had to deal with an accident lawyer and felt that most I talked to were either too aggressive, impractical or just not interested because my accident seemed small or not worthy of treatment. From the very beginning, John was open and honest about my case and gave me the guidance and direction that no one else seemed to be able to provide. I learned a lot about small claims court along the way because I had dropped the ball on my case, even if it was thru no fault of my own. John was easy to talk to and gave me the time needed. He was both practical and efficient. It was refreshing that he was available within reason and wasn't in a rush when dealing with me. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations. My case took just over a year to settle from start to finish. During that time, the firm referred me to therapy, an MRI, and a physician to review the MRI results. Based on those findings, I was informed that injections were medically recommended for my injuries. Despite this recommendation and my repeated requests, I was not approved to receive the injections. I continue to experience ongoing symptoms related to these injuries. When the case settled, the attorney fees and costs deducted by the firm exceeded the amount I personally received from the settlement. This outcome was not clearly explained to me in advance, and I was surprised by the final disbursement. I raised my concerns with a legal assistant assigned to my case, including whether the firm would consider reducing the fee percentage to achieve a more equitable outcome. I was told that I should have read my contract and that the percentage would not be adjusted. Overall, I felt that my concerns were not meaningfully addressed, and the outcome left me financially and medically worse off. I encourage prospective clients to ask detailed questions in advance about fee structures, medical treatment approvals, and expected net recovery before signing a representation agreement.

I hired Bradley R. Kirk to represent me after I learned that my brother filed a lawsuit against me…read morepersonally for $500K after my mother's death. In 2014 Mr. Kirk told me that if I gave him $25K, that he would handle all legal matters and this process would take 4 to 6 months. This was not the case. To date, the matter is still not completely resolved. I feel that Mr. Kirk took advantage of my vulnerability, as I was grieving the death of my mother, and he knew of my disabilities. During the last 7 years, Mr. Kirk requested additional monies and threatened to drop my case if I didn't give him more money. I have paid Mr. Kirk over $200K for a simple case, which was never completely resolved. While my mother was still alive, I reached out to another attorney who taped my mother in private and she stated that her final wishes were for my brother to receive college funds (which he already received), and that I was to inherit her townhouse and most of her stocks. Mr. Kirk did not use this key information early on but rather after all my monies were exhausted. I could not afford to give him any more money at this point and Mr. Kirk actually threatened me and stated that if this matter went to Court that he would get into trouble for charging me such an exorbant amount of money and said that the Court would probably not rule in my favor anyway. So my mother's taped testimony was never used in Court. Mr. Kirk is extremely intelligent and conned me out of $200K. I have copies of every check I wrote to Bradley R. Kirk and Associates, and never once did he give me a receipt for any of the money I paid him. In 2023, I had to pay $300 for a moving company to pick up 43 boxes of documents from Mr. Kirk's office, most of which did not pertain to the legal matter at hand (i.e. my mother's medical records, etc.). I am disappointed and distraught that Mr. Kirk took most of the money I had from me and I'm now disabled, on a fixed income, and could really use this money. I feel Mr. Kirk extorted monies from me as he kept delaying this case and requesting additional funds, which I gave him. I strongly recommend that any potetential new client thouroughly research Bradley R. Kirk and Associates before hiring them or giving them any funds.
