One of the worst veterinary clinics out there! Beware of their problems with routine procedures and record keeping!!!
My ragdoll cat Lucy was desexed on 03/01/23 by Heidelberg Veterinary Clinic. She was stitched improperly and was bleeding quite a bit from her abdominal wound. I had to take her back in for the wound to be revised the next day. This could have been all avoided if they took a bit more time to close the abdominal wound properly in the first place!
I am now trying to list my ragdoll cat on Central Animal Records and I have put down Heidelberg Veterinary Clinic as they have clearly scanned my cat's microchip at the time of desexing. However, the clinic is now telling me that they cannot approve the listing. Their reasoning is that while they obviously scanned my cat, they haven't documented that they have scanned my cat in their records. In other words, they are REFUSING my cat to be listed due to their POOR RECORDKEEPING! read more
