Attendants are friendly and even make conversation. They will clean your windshield, which if you live in this area or are traveling through, they need it! And I like my windshields clean. I've zero problem having someone else pump my gas; actually I prefer it! Have never understood why anyone would want to get out and pump their owman gas. Especially in a world where everyone uses drive throughs to get food, coffee and groceries, but they want to pump their own gas. Makes no sense.

Like all Rite Aid stores they have all the norms. Health & beauty, vitamins, over the counter meds, snacks & chocolate, random seasonal items, even beer and wine. Last time I was there they had those fold up stadium chairs on sale for about $7 so I picked one up to keep in my car. Hoping outdoor concerts in the park and in the river will happen this year and if they do, I'm ready! There is plenty of parking in the lot out front.

It was a fairly well stocked convenience store though and the cashier was friendly. I probably would avoid this station if I could in the future, but it met my needs.

Some look like you can pay at the pump, but the screen says you have to pay inside only. These change from week to week so it's a lottery of which pump MIGHT let you pay at the pump. Of course , the best are the ones where you think you can pay and once you're done and need a receipt, you have to go inside. It's hard to know how much of this gas lotto is incompetence, & how much is intentional to keep a worker busy. Either way, it's annoying. High prices to hit travelers coming in off I-84 too.

I'm not one of them! I've zero desire to get out of my car and pump gas. As I was about to get out of my car to try and figure out the pump, I was surprised to see an attendant approaching my window. He said he'd be happy to pump the gas which i Didn't hesitate to say, yes, fill it up, please. He explained how they can't get help, if they hire people, especially younger workers, after they get their first paycheck they quit. Then sometimes try to come back. I've been going to this gas station for years as the location is super convenient, just a few feet from the I-84 entrance or exit and on the way to White Salmon. I can't fault them because they can't find or retain help as most all service industries are dealing with the same. Retailers, restaurants, farmers market vendors, lifeguards, grocery stores - it's happening everywhere. Prices were better than any other station at $4.39 for regular which is $4.49 in Troutdale and still over $5 in Portland. They also have a food mart but I've never had a reason to go in there. Located next to McDonalds and Starbucks, near Best Western across from the Marina.
