I have used HEI multiple times (Furnace, Heat Pump, Water Heater, and a Radon Mitigation system) and have always had a very positive experience. I will use them again and recommend them to anyone. Friendly staff, highly educated owner willing to spend as much time as you need to get all your questions answered professionally, clean/professional technicians, straight forward no nonsense pricing without any surprises. They made some very tricky duct work that really saved some headroom in my basement and has worked out splendidly. We just had a tankless water tank installed last week. It took two days to complete as projected by Jeff. The workers were excellent, respectful, and clean. Our water tank is working flawlessly. My husband is very happy, and we all know, "A Happy husband is a Happy home!" Jeff, explained the product throughly and simplistically. Heinanen installed a Trane air conditioning unit for us in 2016 and they were extremely knowledgable, courteous and professional. I appreciated how thorough​ they were and that they laid tarps down to keep things clean during installation. They wore booties over their shoes whenever they came in the house. The owner himself came out to calculate exactly what loads were appropriate for our house. The service was exceptional. I was having issues with my furnace and we were just getting into our first deep freeze. They responded quickly and came out the same day to service my furnace. Very efficient and explained everything that they were doing. I had called a competitor and the earliest that they would be able to come out was 6 days later. I would have froze to death. Fall maintenance visit yesterday on our furnace via Heinanen Engineering and was very pleased with service from Jake. He came on time, actually called to ask if could come earlier, which worked for me. He was polite, informative, wore shoe covers and did furnace/humidifier maintenance in a timely manner although did not rush. We moved into a house where Heinanen had installed the furnace, AC, and heat pump. It's more of a complicated system than we're used to, so I had Heinanen come out to service it when we first moved in. The engineers, technicians, and receptionist were all so helpful explaining exactly what we have, how it all works, etc. I won't ever use anyone else for service!
