Abusive, rude and over priced. Took advantage of my 16 year old son. Lied to us and forced us to tow the car we drove there home after they claimed the brakes went bad when they went to move the car. Charged us over $150 to switch 4 tires . Avoid, buyer Beware. read more

I DO NOT recommend Heisley Tire & Brake for repair services after my experience. I had brake service done by this facilities technicians which was needed. After driving 20 miles, my check engine light came on. (Could just be coincidence) I was told they would look into it. ($200 diagnostic). I was told I had an EVAP. leak p0456 and suggested at $1290 to replace my fuel pump. (It works just fine). I declined there offer. After picking up my vehicle. I went to a gas station to put fuel in my car, the pump kept clicking off. I couldn't fill it up. So I went to a respectable auto repair shop. (Had to wait several days) they asked if someone had been tampering with my car. I figured as much. My hose was disconnected and a rubber plug was put on my vent valve solenoid preventing me from filling my gas tank. ($115 diagnoses). So with these things happening to me...I WOULD NOT go to Heisley Tire & Brake. that's my story! Beware is the caution I would tell others before trying the shop out. Get some written expressed warranty (on paper) Ask for your old parts back (you paid for them!) Have some documentation of parts used. (I've had the dealership & Conrad's use genuine NAPA parts) ( I don't know what I got..NAPA-Walmart or junkyard) I don't need nitrogen in my tires. The air you breathe is 78% Nitrogen. I get my summer air for winter air in my tire for FREE! I get my muffler bearings changed for FREE! I get a new buckle on my timing belt for FREE! I put oil all over my struts so Noone has to. I may sound bitter, but I feel I have a right to. Hope this review helps in some way. read more

Heisley tire is a great place. Been going for many, many years. Always honest and a fair price to boot. Eddie is quick and efficient. I was hoping to get a tire patched, even though I knew I needed new tires. Unfortunately, they were unable to patch the tire. They had a great deal on tires, so I purchased 4. I drive long distance and need good tires. They let me know I would probably need new front brakes come spring. My suv is going on 5 years and over 56000 miles. Eddie and Ralph are awesome. I took my car in for noise in the engine I couldn't locate, and was quoted $1300 for an alternator and tensioner. I had work done there once before and I felt it was overly expensive, so I decided to get a second opinion. Turns out it was low on transmission fluid, that's all. read more

These guys are some of the best men! I was heading home from work, to get my boys from daycare, when my tire popped - I was 45 minutes from home. They came to get me even though they were closing because AAA, essentially, stood me up. They gave me a loner and took care of me first thing the next morning. I share all that because they took really good care of me - they were patient, thorough, and went above and beyond what I expected from this service. And they were extremely reasonably priced. $100 less than what I anticipated based on other similar experiences. I cannot thank them enough! I HIGHLY recommend them. These are good people. read more

They explain their work and have always let me go out and see exactly what the problem is if I have any questions. They treat you like family and only perform services that are needed. I went here to get a tire replaced because it blew out and I took the old tire and had them put the new one on but of course they gave me the wrong size. It said the right size on the bill but the tire they put on there wasn't the same size listed and then they told me there was no way the put the wrong tire on there and that I was just trying to get them to give me a tire. read more

I've been there twice. Never again. The first time, I took my then 6 year old Pontiac to have the brakes done. After waiting an hour, they presented me with a literal laundry list of things, other than brakes, that "must be replaced". They told me $4,000 to do all this crap that didn't need done at all. Then the other day I went to them for 1 used tire that blew out from hitting a chuck hole. And, of course they said I should have 2 of them replaced because the tread life was low. I know this is utter garbage as I just had my new vehicle in for oil change at the dealership and they said all tires are at 6/32"....which means that they are less than half way worn through. As I was waiting to have 1 tire replaced, a customer came in and quietly explained to the service desk guy that his wife recently brought in her car for an oil change and was told that the tie rods needed to be replaced. She didn't have the work done that day. The gentleman explained to the service desk guy that when his wife got home and told him the tie rods were bad, he immediately put the car up on his OWN rack and checked out the condition of the tie rods, and there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with them. The service desk guy just blew it off as though it was nothing. He sort of chuckled as though, yeah, I understand and these things happen. I was astonished and could see the customer was dumbfounded too. In my opinion, this place has been bilking customers out of their hard earned money for LOADS of work that their vehicles NEVER NEEDED IN THE FIRST PLACE! SHAME! There should be an investigation into the business practices of this place! read more

The mechanic I had been going to for the last 2+ years shut down and I was looking for a new one. I called Heisley Tire because the battery on one of my cars died. They fit me into their schedule right away and had the car running that same day. I also needed some work done on another car, so I dropped that off as I was picking up the other and they had it done by the next day. Great service, reasonably priced, personable staff. I dealt with Dale and I really felt like I could trust him. Highly recommended. I will be back! read more

I called on Tuesday to schedule a brake replacement for Thursday. I was advised of the estimated cost and was instructed that an appointment wasn't necessary, "just drop the car off before we open and leave your keys in the drop box." On Thursday, I dropped my car off at 7:30 am and filled out the form along with the keys. Requested a pick up time of 4:30 (after work). Didn't get a phone call from anyone all day, so I called at 1:30 to check in and was advised that my "car was next, should be good to go." Arrived at 4:30 and was told "sorry, we were really busy today. Wanna try again tomorrow?" Tomorrow won't be happening, as I'm moving all weekend long and I wanted to get my brakes fixed prior to the move. Might want to consider this review if you expect communication along with your service. read more

Great local mechanics. I have not been to anyone else in Ohio in the 4 years that I have been here but I haven't needed any reason to do so. I've gotten new tires from here, have my oil changed here often and other common maintenance. When I bought my last car, they did a look over for free before I purchased it. My wife took our 2004 Avalanche there because we had an issue with our evaporated system. The guy told her that we needed a new fuel pump and fuel lines all the way to the front. When I spoke with him on the phone, he told me that it would be $1500. I asked why so much, and he said the pump was $500. I asked if he thought 11 or so hours of labor was necessary, and asked him what Mitchells said about labor time. He said it would "probably take about 7 hours." I asked where the extra money came from. He said, well we have the fuel lines. I said fuel lines cost next to nothing. I took the truck to a place in Madison on Chapel Rd. They did the whole repair for $654. Enough said. read more

I had my car towed to Heisley Tire to have my breaks bleed after having new rotors and break pads installed. The mechanic said my car was a nightmare. He quoted that it would cost $318 to grease and bleed the breaks. He also wanted to replace parts that was not even bad. I had my car towed to another mechanic who charged $40 to bleed my breaks, and my car is stopping just fine. I feel they were trying to make as much money as they could at my expense. read more

I have been a patron of Heisley Tire for many years. The guys are GREAT! They accommodate your schedule without hassle. I've not experienced any problems with their work. My mother and family are also patrons there because of the great service and friendliness. I tried another tire company up the road from Heisely Tire and requested a shuttle to get to work (because it was advertised) and was insulted for asking. I cancelled my appointment there and called Heisely Tire. The salesman Don, helped me select the appropriate tires over the phone he offered me a ride/to and from work before I even asked.
