It's trouble with a capital T finding help out here but when you do and the work is very good I…read morehave to say something. I've been remodeling. Remodeling is almost my new middle name. I keep telling myself just say no but I can't kick the dragon off my back so I just keep going. One thing I really don't like doing is electrical work. My house is a good fifty years old but not to bad. The people before me put up new drywall and did some other work but left the original plugs in the wall. So bad the plugs would fall out or be so loose as not to work, I.e phone Charger. Yes, whoever did it is fired in my book. I had to change one because I was hanging a tv up and the plug would drop out after a mere tremor. So here I am on the floor, a big guy with big hands and I suppose these green eyes don't focus the way they used to. Just Being honest it probably took me about an hour just on that one plug. I had two bedrooms and The rest of the living room and hallway to do. I'm still shaking My head when I think of it. I looked around and called Murphys Electric and left a message. The next day I got a call from them and I spilled out my dilemma. He very Nice and patiently listened and then told me they are very busy But he'll see what he could do. Will, by the end of the day he calls back and tells Me he has someone that will be here at 8 am the next day. I was speechless. Ok let's go for it and 8 am the next day Jed pulls up and I show him what I needed and off to work he goes. He had the first bedroom done in an hour! It was great and then he kept going. He even cut a beater opening in the bathroom where I had put up cedar walls and put the plug over the wood. He even spots the outlet that I put in and noticed it was out from the wall a little too much and fixed that up. I was very happy with the work and even showed him the lights I have on the deck where I have it partially roofed and has overhead lights and will have them come back to replace the lights with something like a Key Largo type fan. I have complete confidence in them.

The young man that came out was a worker, immediately understood the issue and went after it, broke out the serious equipment and found the first break. He then found the second and excavated both. After running to the supply store to pick up some gear, came back and finished the job. I don't think he took a lunch break, felt bad for that. He explained where he hooked it to the two panels and exactly what we have now and I am a happy customer. This was not the cheapest option but this was a knowledgable person who attacked the problem correctly, resolved it and ready to move on to the next. I respect companies and people that have the right work ethic and this is one of those companies as far as I can tell. Employ them with confidence.

When my contractor came saw they put plug in wrong location for the new micro. I called Elekron and passed the phone to my contractor, he told told exact location, put the outlet marked the wall. A guy came the next day plugged up hole, moved wire to the new location, but left wires open, did not put outlet to plug in new micro. Again called Elkron, contractor talked. Had pay to get someone else to put outlet in. Then I got a bill for $435.00, was charged $400 for one journeyman and one trainee $35.00 for 4 feet of wire for two hour job that easily could have been done by one person. I was told that I was not charged for the second guy, to correct their mistake I would NOT trust anyone from Elkron Electric ever. I call this price gouging I don't know if it's because I'm a woman or because I'm also a Senior or both They charged me almost $200. To pay for them training someone? I did pay the bill along with a letter similar to this, and asked for the appropriate refund. That was 4 months ago no response from them. Zero stars from me! 0

Called and spoke with him and was lead to believe multiple times that he was going to come back and right the mistakes made and the stuff that they didn't do.. I'd go no stars. But I can't. Refused to make it right. Plain and simple. Took advantage of the fact I am busy and don't have time to overlook work everyday on a rental property..
