This Hele is the cheapest on this side of town located along Kapahulu Ave and Williams St. There are many recently upgraded pumps, and it's easy going in and out. Plus, there are window squeegees for you to use that's actually in clear, soapy water, and thick, blue shop towels. The employees do an excellent job in refilling the towels, making sure the water is soapy and filled, and making sure the squeegees are clean. The squeegees always gives my car clean and clear windows and mirrors. Many other places totally neglect this. This Hele also offers a 10-cent discount on gas with cash purchases and a 15-cents discount on the weekends with the Kama'aina Card. Hele on over to this Hele for low priced gas and soapy squeegees!

Gas is gas. This location is easy to get in and out of. On the two occasions that I came, the two different pumps needed replacing. Also, there is no public restroom. Service was good though. I was in and out in a flash and back to enjoying Waikiki.

Today's gas prices......$2.27 for regular if you pay cash.

This gas station in the Kapahulu neighborhood was a former Tesoro gas station, but recently Hele gas has bought out all of Tesoro gas station outlets. I like coming to this particular gas station because it's convenient for me, as well as the prices at this particular gas station tends to be slightly lower than the other Hele gas station outlets. Nothing has changed as far as the convenience store, or the gas pumps.........the only thing that has changed is the name brand. This gas station is sandwiched between the Kapahulu Taco Bell, & my favorite Frrrrrried chicken place - (Popeye's Fried Chicken)...........after filling your tank, you can always make a pit stop next door for some grindz!!! Don't forget to sign up for your Kama-aina Rewards card! When you buy gas, you can earn points, and you can spend your points like cash!

Always a low price, I prefer it over the nearby stations in the area, engine runs stronger with the 92 here compare to other brands.

Do they have free air for tires?

Unfortunately "No" Nate........most places do charge for the use of water & air. The only places I've seen "free" use of the air for tires, is some Texaco gas stations like in Kaimuki & Hawaii Kai.

The best price on gas on Kapahulu (lots of stops here on this street on our driving days).

Remember when we relied on "service stations" for it all…read more.. Now it seems like it's less service and more "self service" and yet we still pay more for gas...sigh! This shell is right on a super busy intersection of South Beretania and McCully just before the overpass to enter H1 and have been a pit stop of mine for various reasons. The convenience of a separate area for air and vacuum, free use of squeegee, a convenient store filled with just about everything including an ATM or just to grab some gas because I've neglected to fill before I start my journey. Along with their current early bird promotion of a free 12oz coffee with any fill up of 8 gallons or more from 6am to 8am daily they also partnered with T-Mobile of $0.15 off per gallon considering the price for a regular was at $4.799 (as of Oct 29, 2023) every bit counts. Another guilty convenience that I do love is because they're on the corner I've taken much advantage of using it to pass through the two driveways...hey the traffic gets rough here at times and thankfully I get to reset myself and my ride. Thank you!

Off to Mililani we go. But somebody's tire is low of pressure. Goodness on our way to Westbound H1,…read morethere's a gasoline station and hoping the air filling machine is not out of order. Traffic is a bit heavy at that time. But we still manage to safely go in and since no crowd of cars, we easily park on the station to fill some air of my friend's tire. And yes, the station is working and nobody is there except us! Since both of us do not have any quarters, we decided to check their available convenient store. Used their ATM to have some cold cash and exchange it to quarters. The woman cashier is pretty friendly so no sweat. So grateful for convenient stores like this. And most of all, to have this gasoline station with available service you can use like air pumps. Just before you go drive on a highway this gas station is truly a savior to anyone who needs immediate fuel or air for the tire. Mahalo for reading & happy juandering fellow Yelpers!

Hey, how come there's no review of this 76 gas station in McCully???…read more Shoots den', I go kokua & drop a review on Yelp to help this business out! Lol! Located just next door from the McDonald's in the McCully neighborhood, you can find this little gas station that not only serves gas, but they also sell propane. Over the years I have patronized this gas station as they used to sell "racing gas", and now I see that they sell "ethanol free" gasoline. Basically this gas station just does fuel, and they have a small area where they sell a few convenience items by the cashier's booth. No car repairs, or safety checks done at this location, but not to worry gang, as the McCully Union Service also has another service site on Beretania Street where they actually do car repairs & safety checks. Of course at the Beretania location where they do car repairs, they don't dispense any gasoline, that's what the McCully location is for on S. King Street (just next door to the McCully McDonald's).

This 76 Gas Station is located on South King St before McDonald's on the right side of the street…read more You can fill up gas or have your vehicle serviced. They also sell some items inside by the cashier. What am I doing at a gas station you may ask? Well it was because I ran over a nail and my tire was leaking air. Fortunately it wasn't the sidewall. I called first to see if they worked on Tesla vehicles because you need special pucks to lift the vehicle. They didn't have the pucks but luckily I have a set. I brought them with me in the event they could fix my tire. When I arrived, I told them they needed the pucks to lift the car to not damage the battery and vehicle. The mechanic just looked at the location of the screw and said he could do it without lifting the vehicle. I was so confused because you have to lift the vehicle to take off the rim. Turns out he was able to quickly do it on the ground. They don't patch the tire but plug it here so it all made sense when I saw what they did. The entire process was completed in minutes! They were quick and I was out of there in no time. Personally, a patch or plug doesn't matter too much because it fixes the problem of air leaking out of the tire but patching does take time. It takes at about an hour at shops that offer patching because the rim comes off the vehicle and the tire is removed from the rim (could be longer than an hour if they are busy). I'm not sure which is better long term though as I'm not a tire expert. Since I had my tire patched not too long ago, I found plugging was a tad more pricey. Is it worth it? I think so due to the time it took to do it and the fact they didn't have to take off the rim nor jack up the vehicle. No risk in damaging the rim, vehicle or battery. Good option for a quick plug if you encounter a nail/screw in your tire!
