This is my favorite 7-Eleven store location, I am here often for many different items. We do have the best local products at 7-Eleven and I can confirm this, my daughter when she visits every time, one of the first stop is 7-Eleven for her favorites and before she leaves the island we stop here, so she can stock up on her favorites, all different varieties of musubi(s)!! I noticed many new items during my latest visit, what caught my eyes are the hot somen bowl soup ( $2.99) and new flavors of ramen too. I purchased a somen bowl for my brother with a tuna sandwich and after he ate it, he mentioned it was good! I went back that week to grab 3 of the last ones, we tried it with Filet o' Fish and I agreed with him. Note to self, do not add water to it like I did, you just have to microwave it. Every Sunday, is my usual stop here to get a slice of pizza and a can of Chu-Hi J pop , goes so great together! For some strange reason, I really like the pizza here, its like eating frozen microwave pizza but better and you are too lazy to pop one in the oven. hehe. Besides all my stops, I always make sure I stop here to grab stuff for my flight, super convenient and so helpful, especially flying on Southwest, they don't serve meals and also for my layover. I was surprised to see how good the 7-Eleven is in Hawaii compared to the ones I visited in Florida. They have multiple options that are very affordable. I got chicken teriyaki for 5 dollars, and it was a lot! Even the flavor was good. Sometimes they run of some options, bit still good overall. read more

Enjoying a no meat Friday here at 7ElevenHI. This new shrimp pasta with a creamy pesto sauce hit the spot. Go ahead and try their malasadas. The truth is it is not as good as Leonard's but being heated up when you order it and all the sugar it did satisfy my craving. I enjoyed the amount of sauce they have on the pizzas and if you don't mind waiting, you can get a whole pizza in about 5 minutes. As a hard core FAN of the Garlic Chicken Musubi from 7-Eleven, I have to ask the Hawaii 7-Eleven management this one simple question......... 'Eh, why you wen' take away da Garlic Chicken Musubi???? They always run out of the things people need or always buy and always stocking a bunch of stuff that never moves off the shelf. You think you can go there for something simple like toilet paper..... nope!! They're always out for some reason. I recommend someone from corporate come down and show them how to read the sales stats on what's selling and what's not and how to keep from running out of things. We stop in before our flight back home and got a food haul to last our 5hr flight home and the hour at the airport before. Everything you can imagine, fresh, tasty and economical at your fingertips! Am always a fan of 7-Eleven's as they are convenient and usually have what I am looking for. This 7-Eleven is good, the staff are usually friendly. I say usually friendly as there are a couple of female workers who do not look happy to be employed there...at all. I have seen them a few times and each time, they look upset and don't deliver the friendly service that they should (to represent a great store chain). Today we got a chocolate center glazed donut. The donuts were wrapped individually in seran wrap. After biting into the donut we immediately spit it out. The donut tasted like cleaning product, specifically like windex. While I appreciate the sanitation, I don't appreciate my food being direct affected. My husband and I just had the strangest experience at this location. But, let me start by saying the associates do not all wear masks. I mean, they do, but they typically have it under their chin. So if that's important to you, maybe skip this location. Anyway. As we were checking out, our cashier needed to get change to break my bill. As she scooted over to do that, the associate that was ringing people up at the counter next to her completely loses her mind and starts telling her things like "uh, hello. Do you not know what national security is? Day shift is tired of night shift doing these stupid things like you're doing now! I'm tired of your people thinking they can take whatever they want." Then she finishes ringing up her customer, grabs a basket, comes around the front of the register and slams it down by the door while she's yelling something about how she's not just an enlisted member of the armed forces, but she's also a commander and the manager of this store. Yeah. Bizarre. It was super uncomfortable and we all just stood there trying to understand where it all went wrong. I did feel bad for my cashier because she was an older Filipino lady and she was literally being verbally assaulted by the younger hapa/black girl. I tried to ask for the number to their local corporate office, but after that girl left, no one in the front understood what I was asking. So, here I am leaving this review hoping someone from 7-11 corporate reads this and checks in on this store. That behavior was completely bizarre and wildly inappropriate. I'm not sure if this girl is the actual manager of the store or just completely bananas, but with how crazy the world is now days, it's not completely irrational to think this type of behavior could escalate into something much more severe. read more

I wish all 7-Elevens had the hot spam musubi and manapua (buns) like the ones on the islands. We actually came here for our first meal on the island... because we landed late at night and didn't want to deal with trying to park anywhere else in Waikiki. Instead of the gross and extremely old hot dog links and taquitos on the rollers next to the counter, there were beautiful individually-wrapped musubis and manapua. And they were really delicious for being food from 7-Eleven. There was a variety of musubi ranging from original spam, teriyaki, deluxe (with furikake and egg), teriyaki chicken, and bbq beef. The manapua was delicious too. I got two--chasiu and teriyaki chicken--and they were pretty good, too. Even the cold foods section is not limited to cold sandwiches and salads. There's different kinds of entrée bowls, including loco moco, fried rice, saimin, spam and eggs, etc. And there's a microwave to heat them up, if needed. They also have rice balls ranging from regular furikake to spicy tuna, spicy ahi, spicy salmon, regular tuna, beef, etc. Such a variety! Other than that, it's pretty much the same as other 7-Elevens... drinks, necessities... Although, I realized they have like 5 different flavors of Hawaiian Punch. If you ever grew up on Kaua'i, everyone knows that during after hours...7 eleven is the place to be! No we didn't have a jack in a box at the time, or a zippys, or even a 24 hour Walmart. 7 eleven, for me is an embedded memory of my childhood. I remember going to buy my favorite items that are still being offered today. Pork hash, nachos, chicken sandwich, slurpee and a rolo ice cream cone (something they don't have anymore). I'm glad that the majority of these choices are available because when I can't decide what to eat. I know I always find myself coming in here and getting the same things! But who doesn't love coming to a place that is familiar, inexpensive, and open all day every day. The location for this 7 eleven is located at the Mcully Shopping Center on the corner of Kapiolani Blvd and Mcully Street. Parking is free. Their are two lots available. One in the front and a covered parking area near the rear. If not there is some street parking around the neighborhood, if you're willing to make the walk. Store is clean and not cluttered at all. Newly renovated, this store is now bright, clean, and very organized. 7/11s in general are very convenient places to grab a bite or drink. This location is my go-to because of it's proximity to home. I'm in to get my bus passes, snacks, and other small things. The staff at this one is very friendly and lately there is rarely a wait. Yesterday, I was in the mood for a slurpee! With so many 7-Elevens around it is really hard to know which one is closest to get my Spam musubi and Slurpee fix. But really... I love the convenience of this convenience store. It is a brilliant idea to have what you could need available at your fingertips, 24 hours a day. There are all kinds of food available along with medicines, hygienic stuff (including shampoo!), and prepaid gift cards (for that last minute gift). This location is great because you can have a wonderful meal whether it is hot pot, curry, Chinese, Korean, or local, and then pick a few things (especially some Pepto Bismol), if you went a bit too far with your eating. Parking is not too bad during most of the day. It does get a bit crazy on nights and weekends though. read more

I come in here all the time for coffee and other things...but to me, what makes a 7-Eleven worth it's salt is the Coffee Bar. A great 7-Eleven has to have a well stocked and clean coffee bar. This location definitely has that! I have been here late at night, early in the morning and even in the midday in need of a caffeine pick me up. I just had a rude customer experience with a sales associate named "Rachelle". I told her I only have one item and then she replied with rude comment "I only have two hands and I need to finish doing what I'm doing first". I don't understand why she had to be rude when I just told her I only have one item! I heard other customers complaining about her but the management there hasn't done anything. I appreciate 7/11s in general because they're, duh, convenient. I have to comment about this location, though, because I've gone there a couple times to pick up various snacks without a hitch. On the most recent free Slurpee day, however, I was so turned off by the lack of customer service. My brother and I walked in around 4PM because we had class all day and wanted to reward ourselves with free small Slurpees. We found parking right out front, which is unusual because it's not easy to find parking in McCully Shopping Center. There were throngs of kids and adults going in and out of the store, presumably for the free Slurpee offer. We went to the back where the Slurpee machines are and followed the leads of other people who were pulling small cups out of the dispenser. We filled our cups with a mixture of flavors and went to stand in the long line of people waiting to check out. I had never had a free Slurpee, so I asked one of the roaming clerks if we could just walk out or if we had to scan the cups or something. She told us that the small cups we were using weren't part of the offer, and that we would have to pay. Neither of us brought our wallets out of the car, so we weren't sure what to do. I briefly considered walking out with the Slurpee and pretending like I didn't know the conditions of the offer, but decided against it and threw it away. There weren't any signs indicating that the offer was only for limited, special cups, and clearly many people were unaware of the conditions of the offer because they were throwing full cups away left and right. I would think that maybe 7/11 would have rules posted or something either at the front or taped onto the machines. Nope! It was particularly irritating because the lady who I spoke to was clearly watching everyone fill up the small cups and she didn't say anything. Instead, people stood in line, learned that their Slurpees wouldn't be free and threw them away. How wasteful. read more

It's a nice central location, and they have some 15 minute stalls out front, so parking shouldn't be too big of an issue in this otherwise ridiculous parking lot. It's well lit, clean, and well stocked. I don't think you can ask for much more in a 7-Eleven. read more

McCully Shopping Center I don't know what's wrong with the security guard there but my husband one day he was asking to use the bathroom and i just heard Security old man told the 711 worker that my husband was homeless so he came to 7-Eleven and he asking the worker at 7-Eleven if husband ask them to use the bathroom but my husband never come to 7-Eleven and ask them for the key becausr the security got the key like everybody go see him to ask to use the bathroom so I told my husband what the security guy told the 7-Eleven worker but whatever well today is August 12 well me and my husband walk to 7-Eleven after we had lunch at Taco Bell security lady I think she's like Hawaiian she straight-up take pictures of us then walked back inside of 7-Eleven and look at us like we was going to do something or would do something wrong we always go to 711 every single day that kind of pathetic that she took pictures of us today I'm getting sick and tired of them following us around thinking we're going to steal something sorry we work hard for our money to go to 7-Eleven so the people in 7-Eleven and McCully Shopping Center need to put them security guard in check cuz we not do nothing but go and get something to drink and something to snack and that's everyday thing read more

I'll admit, I come here often because it's convenient. Service depends upon the workers who are there for the day. Sometimes I get a sweet cashier (there are one or two of them), other times I get one that slams my purchases on the counter and bags my hot Spam musubi with my ice cream. Spam musubis and sandwiches are decent; just make sure you check the expiration dates. They tend to be pretty good at this 7-Eleven as if it's near the expiration time (11:30am every day), certain cashiers will check the prepared foods as you purchase them to make sure they're not expired. read more

I really wonder how {insert random adjective} people are to not understand how a regular customer doesn't need to be carded, especially after being a very regular customer over the last year and a half. Doesn't make sense. A 35 year old should be able to walk into their neighborhood store and buy cigarettes without being their ID, but oh well, guess people are like fok making a customer feel comfortable, "lets violate everybody regardless of being able to clearly know that they are of age for absolutely no reason".
