This $20 combo plate included a drink for an additional $1. I didn't get a lot of fries. They are not anything special, but it would have been nice to have more. The mild was spicy to me. Came here to pick up dinner on a Saturday night and the wait was around 15 minutes from ordering to getting my food. The place was busy with in person orders and delivery service orders so 15 min was actually quite fast. I got the chicken quarter hot and 3 wings mild with cole slaw and fried okra. The chicken quarter was the perfect amount of spic that had flavor but wasn't overbearing, it was juicy and crunchy. The wings were flavored well and hearty. Compared to my experience with Prince's dry wings, these blew them out of the water. The okra could've been seasoned a bit more in my opinion but were still tasty. Didn't get past the host stand. First we were hit with the off putting smell of old oil. Approached the counter and asked about a menu. The guy said nothing but pointed to the QR code. Fine. I have been to a couple of Helen's locations and this by far is the cleanest and quickest to get food. I was able to walk straight in and get food. The drinks as always is AMAZING!!!! The Hot Catfish with a mild level of heat was so good. I think level hot would have been too much for me (and I have a high spice tolerance). The fried okra was done right too! I've been to a few other Helen's locations, so I was excited to try this one. I ordered online for pickup, and I received the estimated pickup time. My husband and I were running a bit behind so they called us to make sure we were coming because the food was getting cold. I thought that was so considerate! We ordered tenders, fish, and shrimp. The chicken and catfish (catfish is my all-time favorite) were great, but the shrimp was so salty that unfortunately it was almost inedible. The batter on it was really thick, so the shrimp inside ended up getting overcooked. I still ate it but I picked off all the coating.
