I have been to Juicy many times because I love the food, but it's gotten to a point where I don't even enjoy going anymore because of the horrible service. I have only had good service one time, which was my first time, and every other time it's been a horrible experience. What led me to leave this review was because of the last time I came to eat with three of my friends. Our waitress took our food, and we said we were going to keep looking at drinks on the drink menu. We did not see her again until the food came out 20-25 min later. Once she dropped off our food without saying a word, she sat at a table by the bar on her phone, and we didn't get checked on for OVER 30 minutes until we were done with our food. We all needed so many things at that time, but could not grab her attention. One of my friends never even got one of the things he ordered, but it was too late by the time she came to check on us. All of our drinks were empty as well. I can understand when it's busy it's harder to check on tables and everything, but we felt blatantly ignored, especially seeing her sit on her phone while we needed things. It's extremely unprofessional and almost every time I've visited this restaurant the servers have been rude and inattentive. Will not be returning and do not recommend. read more

I believe this is located in the old Shoney's building. They renovated it and made it look really cool inside. We came here on a Friday evening, and it was pretty packed, but we got seated right away. I felt for a Friday, they also had good tech time. I really liked how the bar area looked. We didn't sit there, but I remember looking at it and thinking to myself how the bar looks nice. We started off with the lightly steamed oysters with the juicy special sauce. I really liked their juicy special sauce. I got it on medium spice and was able to tolerate it considering I have a low tolerance for spice. The oysters itself wasn't bad, but I felt like it was steamed a little too long for lightly steamed. Now onto our boil. Our seafood came out in a boil bag and we got the same sauce and spice level as our oysters since we liked it so much. I felt the seafood was cooked perfectly for our boil. If you want guaranteed good food and a full tummy, this is the place to go! I've been here dozens of times and every time it never disappoints. My go to order is half a pound of green mussels and half a pound of shrimp with the juicy seafood seasoning. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Uber eats ordered to be 2 lbs crawfish and 1/2lb crab leg to be in season. Clusters came in 3 piece clusters with no claw. Shouldn't it be 5 pieces? The crawfish was not fresh as well half was fresh and half frozen ridiculously disappointing for me. Usual dedicated customer and had no problems pickup but first time delivery extremely upset. I felt bad sitting alone on a busy night but I tipped 40% so I hope that made up for it. My mother and I got here on a Saturday around 2, it was a pretty full restaurant despite it being an odd time for lunch/time. What we ordered: Cajun chicken wings unbreaded, hush puppies, shrimp with head, and snow crabs. Chicken wings and hush puppies were okay, wings had good flavor and cooked perfectly. A unique (and filling!) restaurant that I've heard about but not experienced until this week. I went at a quiet time between the normal meal times. Understand that the dinner rush can be quite busy and that you may experience a wait. That being said, I walked in and was seated immediately. The seafood can be ordered a la carte (by weight), in pre-set combinations, or in a custom combination of your choosing. After choosing your seafood, you choose a spice flavoring (I went with the combination, aka "Juicy") and heat level. Potatoes, corn and sausage can be added depending on the dinner you choose. The order is assembled, cooked (steamed) and brought to your table in a plastic bag that is full of the steam from the cooking process. It is cut open and placed on a platter, and then, it's time to dig in! The food was filling and I was surprised because I thought I was going to need more food and instead I wasn't able to finish my order! My shrimp and mussels were cooked perfectly. This is a good thing because many restaurants do overcook the shrimp. The snow crab, on the other hand, still had some cool spots on several legs. The service was friendly and the manager greeting us was a nice gesture that made us feel appreciated. We will return, as I skipped the Dungeness crab and want to try it on our next visit. One last note, they have an application in for a liquor license but it was not approved as of our visit a few days ago. read more

My MIL suggested this spot and told me the seafood was good. We got the crab legs/shrimp boil. The seasoning was good but the crab legs lacked meat and the shrimp was soggy. Maybe try less juice! Wish they had steam pots like "Joes Crab shack" maybe add something similar to the menu since there is no Joes near by in that area. Fortunately we know how to make cocktail sauce from the ingredients they did have. I wished they had been out of Oysters. The beers were cold and the Calamari was hot and very tasty. We then ordered our dinners. I ordered the combo of Scallops and Shrimp and that also came with corn on the cob and a couple of potatoes. My wife ordered the Shrimp and Crawdads and that combo also came with corn on the cob and a couple of potatoes. When our feast arrived, it was served in two giant plastic bags. We were also supplied with bibs, a couple of plastic forks, hot sauce and a load of napkins (believe me, you'll need them). We bibbed up and opened up the bags to find our selections. Everything was very juicy and very tasty. I ordered the Garlic seasoning and my wife ordered their house special seasoning. Both we quite good and added a nice compliment to the seafood and sides. It was wet and sloppy but very tasty and juicy. Overall it was a very delicious, fun meal. It would be a fun place for a first date. Oh man, we just enjoyed the most delicious dinner here! We weren't quite sure what to expect while walking in but our sever, Patrick, walked us through the menu and explained everything. We decided on two of the Combo Specials- my husband got one with mussels, crab & shrimp and I got one with crab & shrimp. Both were EXCELLENT. We each got the "Juicy Special" seasoning, with mild/medium spice. It was the perfect balance of Cajun seasoning, garlic butter and lemon. Aside from us getting CRAZY messy (Patrick gave us bibs, gloves, and utensils but we didn't use them- we will next time!!) our dinner was absolutely perfect. Today our 2nd visit since my unfavored review and I must say. Everything was perfectly cooked. The crab was amazing. Didn't lose any crab meat in the shell all came out perfectly in one piece. And the shrimp was abundant. And my favorite as always is the lobster tail. All these in combination E is amazing for the price. And also great tasting. You should sub broccoli for the corn. We got 2lb crawfish, 2lb shrimp and 1 pound mussels. Tell me why was all the corn we bit into were still cold inside? I honestly felt like they had the food sitting out and put the seafood corn and potatoes in a bag and pour warmed sauce on top. They had fun music playing and helped give great recs for us as it was our first time. I think you have to be in a certain mood to go here, not somewhere you would frequent super often. Great for a date night or time with friends. You get the bib and bucket and gloves, the whole nine yards. It was quite an experience. My partner and I both got a big bucket of the combos with shrimp and crab and potatoes. You obviously have to work for your food but it's amazing. Absolutely drenched in butter and spices, so good you'll want to drink it. Everything was very fresh and you get a large portion. Great food, just not somewhere I would need to frequent often.
