We swung in here around 9pm after a long evening of pickleball. Toot's is one of the few sit down options that are open later in Smyrna. I ordered some wings and our waiter talked me into a basket of onion rings. Everything about these wings was perfect. They were crispy, sauced perfectly, and super juicy when you bit into them. I got the medium buffalo and hot garlic. Both sauces were good, but the hot garlic wasn't spicy at all for me. The onion rings were fantastic too. They're massive and the breading has almost a tempura type quality to it, somewhat light but still great crunch. For all my ranch people out there, the ranch is pretty good here too and they weren't stingy with it either. Our server was great and took great care of us. They have a good amount of TVs so it's definitely an option to watch a game at. They also feature lunch and happy hour specials which peaked our interest. read more

An absolute staple whenever we come to town. We were lucky enough to have Kennedy as our server when we were here in June, and she was here again on college break when we came in today! She might be the best server of all time! We live in Utah and crave toots pickle chips for 6 months until we can come back. Essentially bar food and this location is the absolute worst with including ranch dressing with to-go orders. Ranch dressing is the best thing on the menu. I want to love Toots. I used to. My last three visits here have been less than satisfactory. Each time I go I leave extremely disappointed. Today I walked in with my daughter, the place is dead and I'm like ok let's try it surely they can do better than the last two times. My daughter orders the brownie bash and I order a side salad and ten wings. The salad comes out first. And I'm eating it and begin to wonder about her desert and where it is. The desert cost $10. I finish my salad and we are waiting then my wings come and I'm think to my self owe they forget the desert I bet . I tell my daughter be patient they will have your brownie out soon. I bite into my first wing and fill feathers in my mouth. I spit out the chicken and find three large full chicken feathers. I then inspect the rest of the chicken and see feathers on 3 more peaces. Our server then brings the desert my daughter ordered and its slush the ice cream is completely melted. She apologized about the wait but did not care about the product being sold. It should have been remade. I tell our server about the feathers and show her and tell her she can feed them to another employee joking around. Thinking she might offer to take them off or remake them but it was like she didnt know what to do. I tell her I'm not going to eat the wings . So she brings the bill. I pay and tip. That being said I would strongly think twice before visiting this toots it is my opinion they do not care about the quality of the product being served to their guests. read more

Been coming to this place for so many years I have also visited all of the ones in the Boro my #1 fav is Smyrna location my town 2nd Toots West. I haven't have any issues and if any have happened they always take care of it, good stuff on TV and good music. Love this place. read more

My friend chose this place to have his bday celebration on 11/8/25. I have not been to toots in over 25 yrs and it was at the original in M'boro, I had no idea b/c I have not lived her that they now have multiple locations. We got there early to reserve a table. It was packed already at 630 pm on a Saturday night. They quickly got us a table together and we were seated. Our waitress, Liv was AMAZING. This girl is so kind, and outgoing and does her job very well! It felt like she was part of the tribe! We didn't have to ask for anything, she was on it! Other waiters/staff were friendly too. One guy, not sure his name or title when we were being seated, saw the bday presents and said he would make sure he told the kitchen staff we had a birthday at our table and I thought that was sweet. Plenty of parking, clean, reasonably priced and nice for a get together. I had the chicken finger basket with sweet potato wedges and we all shared fried dill pickles which still are top notch! This was my first experience at Toot's, and it went amazing. I sat at the bar and my server Natalia was one the best servers I've ever had and made my first time experience great. We ate at Toots this evening. Our fries were burnt. They tasted like old grease. Even told the waiter. He say " Oh sorry". Didn't comp anything for the awful food. My daughter got the Philly steak sandwich. It over cooked and dry. They forgot the mayo. I think the grease they cooked our food in was a month old. Absolutely horrible. Not only was the food hot and prepared perfect, the service could not have been better! We met the manager and the owner and they are fine people. We were in town to drop my kid off to MTSU. We decided to try the food here. The food was good. The seafood salad was enough for two people and the onion rings were good- not oily or overcooked. Took a chance and tried Toot's on a Saturday night. The parking lot was packed, but the wait was only about 10 minutes. Tables were kind of crammed close together so it almost felt like you were having dinner with everyone in the restaurant. Not a big deal though, it gave off of a fun and "homey," vibe. With 38 years of experience, Toots is Rutherford County Tennessee's oldest restaurant. I read various reviews about Toots ranging from 1-5. I am not from this area but stopped in today with a large group. I immediately had more confidence when I saw the large lunch crowd. I have noticed when choosing new places, it is a bad sign if a restaurant has lots of open seats. Our waitress Paige did an excellent job as our server as we received great customer service. I really appreciated the large selection on the menu and I never heard one complaint among the ten or so that was in our group. The quality and amount of food was just right and it was inexpensive. Everyone seemed to enjoy their lunch. I heard several compliments on the catfish, chicken fingers, chicken sandwich and grilled chicken salad. The restaurant ambiance is fun with random lights and interesting items throughout. The men's restrooms was clean and well stocked. I do wish all restaurants would offer sweeteners besides the pink. Besides that small thing, I believe this restaurant is worth a trip! read more

Really enjoyed our visit! Even with a group of 8 we were set quickly (went when it opened) and served quickly considering how busy the restaurant was. Came for dinner late on Sunday night. Food was good came out quick and good portions, but staff... staff was GREAT!! Shad has an incredible energy behind the bar and is so excited to be there and try new things. I came to Toot's for the first time on Friday, August 28th at about 7:30pm with a party of four. We had just a short wait; however, quickly got a table. I personally had the buffalo garlic tender platter (grilled), which came with a generous amount of chicken with some blue cheese dressing along with a side of curly fries with a delicious honey mustard dressing. The table shared an order of the fried pickles. The chicken and fries were delicious. The fried pickles were not my favorite that I have ever had; however, that is just personal preference. They were just a little too thin for my liking. (You may love them) Our server was great! I know everyone has different opinions of Covid; however, I do wish that the restaurant would have had limited capacity at this point in time. I know that it is hard for some restaurants to survive with the curren times; however, the tables are super close and I would have rather waited than been right up next to someone else. I would come back to Toot's again in the future, if I am around this area and once this virus has subsided quite a bit more. read more

I got the 3pcs fish basket with steamed broccoli! It was pretty good. Kids got burgers, wings, and a chopped steak( didn't eat the chopped steak yet) Jordan had the hotdogs of course he loved them! This is a solid spot to come on and grab some grub. I am forever a fan of hotwings and love to try out cool local spots that serve them up. Toots I learned is a chain local to Tennessee and pretty popular among the locals. Where I certainly enjoyed my meal (wings and fries) I was a bit underwhelmed overall. First the restaurant itself is dated. It felt like a throwback to the early 90s which is cool but it's just old stuff at this point. It needs a reno for sure!! The wings were cooked great so no complaints there but the sauces for me lacked depth. I ordered their two hottest sauces and it didn't seem any hotter than Tobasco sauce to me. Mind you I regularly eat hot and spicy food and I was hoping go get lit up! Nashville is known for HOT chicken and well this chicken, even the sauce named Nashville hot..... was very much domesticated. The service here was okay. Our server was friendly and attentive but seemed distracted. I think she had a pile of side duties to work on besides waiting our table. So overall a solid spot. It could use some improvements but I'd come in again. Also Mondays are 50 cent original wing night. I think I'd limit myself to coming in then if back in TN. read more

this was the worst service i've ever received in my entire life. we got there and sat down. our server took our drink order and when asked for our id she said she had to check with a manager to get approval because we're from out of state. manager comes and goes back and forth with my idea possibly because it expires in 5 days. BUT ITS STILL VALID. 10-15 minutes go by and my drink still never arrives but every one else has. my husband asks our server and she walks away, then comes back and says she forgot to put it in. whatever it's all good. our appetizers got delivered before my drink. we put our order in and our server is whispering. she comes around to me and asks what i want and i ordered the buffalo wrap. she then proceeds to ask me what sauce i want on the wrap and i said the buffalo and she was confused..our food comes 45 minuets later and it's cold. my wrap has no sauce on it. we then proceeded to pay and got out of there. i also wanna mention the 4 hosts on their phone standing in everyone's way out the door. horrible service, horrible food and just a terrible experience over all. read more
