Interior is cool

I was not sure what to expect going to this establishment for the first time and taking 2 friends with us. I have read some fairly recent Yelp reviews that were not very flattering. I was very pleasantly surprised. It was great. The lunch menu had just enough choices for anyone and the prices were okay. Our server was sweet but she talked a bit too fast and we had a hard time understanding her. The interior decor was impressive having been an old print shop. Now for the food! The chicken tenders were so-so. The BLT was really a BLT and not a LT with little B. But the real show stopper was the Frenchman sandwich and the fries. The other 3 of us the ordered something else were all jealous. We will be back and order the French with a to go box and have the other sandwich for dinner. This place did not disappoint.

A last minute decision, we decided to give The Print Shop another try with the new owners and I have to say it was a great experience. With it being such a crazy busy night due to Valentine's Day, I thought they ran things smoothly. Our bar tender/server Grace was so sweet and attentive. Our food was delicious, not pictured was the CRAB & FIRE ROASTED CORN CHOWDER, my husband and I shared it and it was so full of crab! After the great experience we will definitely be back! Hoping to keep this neat place around! Great job Print Shop!!

Here in town for training. Looking for all the spots to eat This place is so cute. We ate outside. The upper deck and lower deck are super cute. I love the space. The guy serving us was FANTASTIC. (Started with an E... sorry im horrible at names) They have only been open half a year. Not an overly friendly GF menu, but they have a a couple things. They have ranch.... We did a bunch of appetizers: Brussel sprouts with chorizo Sweet potato fries Cauliflower tots Tater tots (breaded with cheese) I had greens sautéed in garlic My take aways. The flavor was right, though heavy and saucy with burnt chorizo for the sprouts. I was expecting little more meaty and combined flavors. They were drenched in maple syrup. Potato fries were good. Ladies said the cauliflower tots were fabulous Tater tots were great ( not GF) The sautéed greens have SO MUCH POTENTIAL! Not sure why there had beans jn them, but cook them with a little salt, actual garlic with wine and lemon and I added apple cider vinegar to mine and it helped set them off. They were just a little to ... earthy i think for most people.

We passed by this place so many times not knowing what a gem it was! The service and ambiance is stellar. Shoutout to Ethan for being so attentive and making our first time here great! The pork rinds were light and crunchy. Reminded me of eating cotton candy without the sweetness. The coffee martini reminded me of butter beer so it was def a favorite. Loved every item we tried.

Wow! We were finally able to make it back after the change in ownership and they clearly made some good changes and known what they are doing. The staff were very friendly. We were seated upstairs where there was music going on (perfect volume and wonderful singers for this environment). My husband ordered a blackberry old fashioned and it was delicious! They stepped up the game with the appropriate ice block and everything. We started with the cheese curds and these were perfectly crispy and delicious. My husband ordered the chicken and Brie sandwich and I ordered the chicken piccata. Both were great! My portion was big enough for two meals! The seasonal vegetable on my plate was perfectly seasoned and I felt like needed to be mentioned because so many places overlook that side, but not here! Now, I will say our entrees took a little longer than usual to come out, but with the amazing quality and taste of the food, we didn't mind. We will definitely be back. I hope more people give this place some love so we don't lose a great place in our town!

Fun atmosphere! Good food! Great new addition to The Depot area of Smyrna! Driving down the road and saw that The Print Shop was open so we decided to give it a try! We parked in the back and made our way up front to be seated. We were seated immediately and our waitress was there to take drink orders after a couple minutes. We ordered the pretzel bites and beer cheese dip! It was good the pretzels were just a little tough! I ordered the chicken caesar salad, my husband had the smash burger, and the kids shared the chicken tenders. I had original ordered the marinara pasta but they were out of that! Everything was very good. The quality of the chicken in both my salad and the kids meal was very good! Their menu is a bit limited but I think you could figure out something that could fill you up! Absolutely a fun place to check out!

Went on Father's Day. Cool place. 1st visit and we walked through all the restaurant area having no idea where to go. Finally after asking someone in the kitchen area we were told there was no hostess and to seat ourselves. Food: The Smashburger was amazing! Also had the steak, egg and hash for brunch. Steak was overcooked. It was just OK. Mac and beer cheese was cold and not very good. I'd go back for the burger though. Service: I was my own server, getting up to grab an extra knife, asking for refills from the bus boys... our server just never checked on us.

This is a really cool space and a really fun spot for downtown Smyrna. You can feel the history of the building from the moment you walk in and I love how they leaned into it. Our experience was a little shaky, but still showed promise and I'm excited for what this place could be. That being said, we probably won't be going back for a little bit. Here's what we loved: the brussel sprouts were good. The honey and chorizo played really well together and truly complimented the sprouts. For my ranch lovers, this place doesn't slack and has a super garlic forward flavor. Now for the negatives, and I truly hope that they can work some of these out because if they do this place can become an amazing spot. Right off the bat, parking is a huge issue. There are only a handful of spots so you're most likely going to have to park far away and walk. Keep an eye out for the signs before you park. Secondly, there's some room for improvement with the staff and training. We were greeted by the host and sat immediately (awesome), but then the host and a server stopped us midway to our table and stood there arguing about the table/section we were going to be sat in. We stood there for 30 seconds awkwardly while they argued and once they finished the host ran upstairs and expected us to follow at his pace. It was not a smooth process getting seated, but with better training and communication this could easily be fixed. Another alarming thing we saw was the bartender eating with her hands behind the bar and still serving while doing it. She wasn't washing her hands or anything and it made us question the food safety protocols in order here. It just seems kind of odd that this would be happening on the floor and not in the back of the house. Finally, both of our dishes were under seasoned. The burger was bland and all you could taste was cheese and bun, no flavor from the meat. The Denver steak was cooked perfectly, but had no flavor to it and could've really benefited from a little bit more salt, pepper and garlic. This restaurant shows a lot of promise, but from our experience there is some room for improvement.

My new favorite spot in town! It is the best atmosphere for a date night or girls night, upstairs is my favorite, such a vibe! The food is so good, the smash burger, chicken sandwich, the pork chop are all faves. Each item has a different twist and is unique. You can't order a bad appetizer either, literally all so good! But the Nashville hot pork rinds... my favorite!! It's so obvious that the staff is working hard to work out the kinks of opening a new restaurant. Let's support local, it's such a special spot in the heart of Smyrna!

Meh. Nothing remarkable about location, decor, staff or food. Could be great but something needs to excel.

BEANE BROTHERS BBQ & CATERING, TEXAS STYLE 114 Front Street…read moreSmyrna, Tn www.beanebrothersbbq.com Ph #: 629-318-1020 I haven't written a review in a while but today changes that. We ate at a 'new' place today and it was amazing. I say 'new' because I didn't know it was there. There was something going on at the railroad depot so we went to check it out. When we were parking I noticed the 'new' place and told hubby we were going to try that place before we left. Am I glad we did. Amazing. When you walk it it's a relaxing atmosphere. It's nice and clean. The BBQ aroma had my tummy growling. Grab a menu and order at register. When that's done you seat yourself and they bring your food to you. But let me back up. I forgot to tell y'all the name. It's BEANE BROTHERS BBQ & CATERING, Texas style. 114 Front Street. I ordered the porker sandwich & cowboy beans. Hubby ordered Brisket Mac Sandwich. My porker sandwich was big. Stacked high with pulled pork & topped with coleslaw. Normally I wouldn't eat with coleslaw on top but today I did and Im glad I did. So much flavor in both the coleslaw and pulled pork. I never finish a sandwich but today I did. Hubby was so proud of me. The beans were also flavorful but if you don't like spicy don't order these. I usually don't eat spicy but these were great. When my hubby's Brisket Mac sandwich arrived it was also piled high with Brisket & Mac & cheese. He didn't want the Mac & cheese on it and ask that they put it on the side. Gets his order and the server noticed where he asked for it on the side. Told my hubby she was going to get them to fix it in the kitchen. He assured her it was ok. He would try it that way. Lo and behold he loved it. He downed that huge sandwich and cowboy beans in record time. Said he could eat more but I told him I was getting cobbler to take home. We just ate some of the peach cobbler and cherry. We added vanilla ice cream and that was also delicious. I can't say one bad thing about the food. So if you want BBQ please try this place. You won't regret it. I apologize for this being so long, I just wanted to make sure to give as much info as I could for you guys. Your friendly food critic Claire

We originally were sat at a smaller four-person table right by the roll up windows towards the front of the restaurant, and the draft was so intense, we were freezing even with jackets on. We asked to be seated somewhere else, which they did (although that spot wasn't much better), and placed another couple at the original table. Within minutes they had the same issue... bundling up, switching seats around, etc. our waitress seemed on the younger side, and maybe even new. But she appeared visibly confused with just about every request we had. Her response was usually "uhhhh..... okay" followed by us getting wrong drinks/food. The food overall was decent. The chicken tenders were juicy and crispy and the ranch was great. Their fries were delicious. It likely wouldn't be my first choice in picking a place to eat, but I do believe it deserves a second chance. I'll be going back when it's warmer to hopefully have a different experience.

After trying Xul's PB&J Mixed Tape beer in Pigeon Forge, I started looking for places that had it on tap, and Mr. Brews popped up, so I had to stop by...so exciting since they are not making cans. The wings were really good. I'm picky about my wings, I like them crispy and don't want them swimming in sauce so I asked for the dry rub with the hot sauce on the side, and they came out perfect. I also went with the tater tots, which I liked way better than the house chips since the chips weren't as crispy as I expected. Our server was super friendly and gave great menu recommendations since I mainly came for the beer and wanted something that paired well with it. There's plenty of parking since it's in the Kroger plaza off Sam Ridley. I'd definitely recommend this spot if you're into trying different beers on tap.
