Jackie is a very talented massage therapist, listens intently, and has helped me immensely. I have major back, nerve, and spinal issues that cause severe pain. Jackie was phenomenal at getting to the pain and giving me respite from the pain. Those who have this type of issue know that not all massage therapists are equally talented... or talented at all. I recommend Jackie. She reached out to me to ask if I could give a review, because I know her abilities and it is so hard to know if a massage therapy place is worth the $... Spending money on a bad or "okay" massage is a waste of time and money. This is a recommendation which I can give without reservation. From the photos I have seen of her new business, she has done an extraordinary job of putting together a very high end, calming environment... to rival some nice upscale spas I have been to. I wish Jackie all the best in her business... she deserves to do very well. I just wish that she was located within 100 miles of where I moved to! Today I was told by the woman handing me a water that next time I should leave more of a tip!? I said three times that it was 20% & left utterly shocked & confused. I have always tipped min of 20%. I have never been asked to leave more before. Is this some 'happy ending' place I'm unaware of?? I found her statement to be absurd & unprofessional. The people at the front desk always ask me if I would like anything to drink whether it is water or tea, etc. At other locations, I have not had the same experience. Next, the manager is really hands on and truly kind. I see her working persistently, walking in and out of her office to make things as great as possible for clients. And of course, my treatments here have been superb. Kelly was very professional, knowledgeable, and impressive. She had previous experience working in skincare which was easily evident when I asked her any questions and saw the outcome of my treatment. She gets booked really quickly, but it is worth waiting to have someone with the right skills in skincare perform your treatment. She knows what peels offer what type of result, which products are good for your skin type or issue, and, most importantly, how to get the results you want. Even beyond that, she is able to mention to you different ingredients in skincare and what their purpose is. The treatment itself was also amazing. Kathy: "yes" Me: "and I was wondering what kind of cones do you use there"? *****a few seconds of silence*** Karen: "Did you want to book an appointment?" Me: "perhaps but I just had a few questions fir.. **interrupts** Karen: "We use regular paraffin herbal infused ear cones" (she sounds annoyed so I skip the other question I had) (at this point her cold way of speaking told me I am not going here) Me: What is your name ma'am? Karen: Karen. Me: Do you perform treatments Karen? Karen: Yes I said thank you for your time and hung up. My mother and aunt are both massage therapists and I have worked in spas and salons in the past. This is literally the opposite of how to grow a client base.
