As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Board Certified Doctor of Naturopathy, and Licensed Nurse, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice. From the moment I entered her serene space, I felt welcomed and at ease. Marlene took the time to listen to my concerns and tailored her treatments to meet my specific needs. I have a high viral load of Epstein Barr Virus and possible lymphoma. Her proficiency in Oriental Medicine and as a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner shone through in her holistic approach to wellness. She provided insightful recommendations on lifestyle changes and herbal remedies, drawing from her extensive training as a Master Herbalist. I appreciated her emphasis on natural healing methods, which resonated with my own beliefs about health and wellness. I will NEVER go to a western oncologist as all they want to do is fill you with toxic chemicals, never looking at the root cause. Marlene did many holistic tests, Iridology, Quantum Resonance Imaging Body scanning and Bach Flower testing. She read all of my scans, blood work testing and created a plan designed specifically for me and my issues. Explaining EVERYTHING that was going on in my body There was no cookie cutter program here. I highly recommend Marlene Hanusa to anyone seeking a holistic approach to health and wellness. Her combination of skills, genuine care, and dedication to her clients make her a standout in the field. I left feeling not only physically better but also emotionally uplifted. I can't wait for my next appointment!

I was expecting a…read moregood foot massage, but admittedly did not believe that there could be any significant connection between a spot on my foot and some other part of my body. I'm now second guessing that assumption - when Julie was doing her thing, about half way thru I decided to start asking her what these connections were. She started explaining them and telling me which ones she found as being tense, the ones she was focusing on, and as she told me about the one that was linked to my intestines, I suddenly realized that my cramps were gone. I really couldn't believe it. The one downside was that the day following my appt I had some serious fatigue and other issues, which Julie explained to me could have been due to the session. Apparently sometimes you have a day where you feel worse before you feel better. I plan on scheduling another session and looking forward to experiencing the way things play out during round 2

Just had the weirdest experience here. I usually LOVE this place. Today I arrived on the dot of…read more3:00 for my 90 mins massage. I paid right away, as I am always asked to do, and then I got settled on the bed. The massage was decent at first... until suddenly the entire staff began arguing at peak volume. There were 3 other customers trying to enjoy services. I had to ask not once but three times for them to stop yelling at each other. It went on for almost the rest of my massage which was about 30 mins. Due to the staff infighting my massage therapist became distracted and began what I can only describe as "petting" for the remainder of the massage. Too busy talking to actually give the massage. That was only the beginning. When my massage ended I sat up with a strange knowing...it was too early. I looked at my phone and sure enough, it was only 4:24. I realize 6 minutes is a not a long time, but 90 mins is 90 mins. I have never had someone stop early to prepare for the next client. My masseuse argued that he needed to stop early because there was someone waiting. Sorry, but that's not how it works. Don't sell a 90 minute massage if you don't intend on providing 90 minutes of service. Then, to make matters even worse, the man at the front desk asked for my credit card claiming he needed to charge me. Confused, I explained that I had already paid. I actually pulled up my banking app in order to show him the charge from when I had first walked in. He said "look it says 'pending', that means we didn't charge you!" Clearly this man has never used a credit card processing machine before. I refuse to give him my card as I explained to him that he had, in fact, already charged me. He said "well, we will just charge you tomorrow". Then hell you will, sir. Typically there is a very knowledgeable and friendly guy working the front desk (the manager) and I'm sure this would not have happened had he been there but it certainly left me with a creepy feeling. I did speak to the manager who was off site on this day. He apologized for the experience and credited me $10 for the lost time. Oddly enough, the front desk person still continued to ask for payment as I was leaving. I will be back as I believe this was a one-off. And I commend the manger for addressing it with me over the phone. Still, super weird trip to Happy Feet.
