This has never been a problem before. Having taken him to a few movies in the past without any problems I did not expect to be turned away from a long awaited movie! I called other theaters in the area after this and they all said it was fine so I am a bit frustrated! Such a bummer and left a bad taste in our mouths! Especially since we had to go spend ANOTHER $30 for tickets at a different place. :( Will probably start going to other local cinemas!

Also, got stopped to show my ID for the Backrooms, but when I recently watched Obsession twice which has a sex scene and objectively scarier they didn't ask for an ID. Never been stopped to show an ID even when I was wayyy younger watching Oppenheimer.I understand it's policy, but for the Backrooms? Good theatre otherwise

I went once with my entire family to see 101 Dalmatians and the whole theater smelled like pee. Like 10/10 walk into a room where kids must have been peeing on each other and everything else in the room. It's a funny story we tell at Christmas because for some reason we stayed and watched the whole movie anyway. Anyway... it's hard to give the Cliftex 5 stars... but life wouldn't be the same without it.
