The whole time our kids were playing we stood while staff mopped the room in the middle of the day. The room was empty from the time we arrived at open so it blows my mind they would not put one of their 5 tables with benches down for customers. When I asked about seating they recommended we sit outside on the benches by the mini golfing in triple digits, leaving a blind straight path between my kids and the exit. Not an option.

This establishment has great potential for a great golfing experience. However, I'd like to point…read moreout a few key factors as to why I'm giving the 1 star rating. 1.) The greens fee amount to play 18 holes is way out of scope in regards to what you're actually playing on. 95% of all the greens are in non-favorable conditions. Either there is standing dirt or wells on the greens that have no grass, or the grass has been completely scalped and is now dead. This makes for an impossible short game on the green. 2.) There is absolutely no cart service, or water on the course. If you plan to drink any liquids, either bring your own water or stock up before teeing off or at the turn. There's no hall cleaning tools anywhere on the course currently and repair jobs from capped cups are raised out of the greens. 3.) (This is probably my biggest issue of all) the local membership of the country club is absolutely preposterous. If they are anywhere out on the course your average playtime will go from a sub 3 hour round to almost 5. They will not accommodate for small groups or singles to play through and only want members to play on the course. It's very obvious on weekend mornings when they won't let anyone shot gun start off the back 9. Especially when there's 20-30+ trying to play off the front 9. Over all, this course could be great if the management of the facilities and course were under the right hands and the course actually be kept by professionals who know how to tend courses in Texas.

It's now $29.95 online and $35.95 at the gate. The pumpkin patch, obviously on the pricey side, is more of an attraction as there are a lot of activities to do. There's the typical photo-op setup filled with pumpkins in the background. As you walk further in, there is a playground area for kids to get on the swings and slides. You can also find a place to look at animals - goats, donkey, chickens, etc. Scattered throughout the farm are various cars kids can hop into and take photos in. We went on the hayride, which was a nice 10 minute ride to see the Christmas trees. They also have a dedicated area to buy pumpkins. If you get hungry or thirsty, they have a lot of shaded areas to sit and eat. They sell food and beverages. Overall, it was a fun experience for the entire family.
