My husband goes to Hello Optometry for his vision exams and glasses. He likes that they carry the Eco brand because they have a magnetic sunglasses lens that he can put over his glasses. This makes it simple so he doesn't have to carry sunglasses with him. The exams are quick and easy. The doctor spends time going through it all with you and makes you feel listened to. He has seen both doctors here and thinks they are both great. A plus is that he could use his frames from last time and just get new lenses. They ordered the new lenses and we came back a week later for them to replace. It only took them about 45 mins, so we went and spent time in the circle. A note on insurance- they will have you pay out of pocket and then when insurance processes, you will receive a reimbursement check in the mail. read more

New to Orange and needed an optometrist. This place is so cute and conveniently within the Orange Circle area. I called and they accept VSP. Making an appointment with Dr. Tran was easy. Upon arrival, they were so nice and quickly all the pre-check. Dr. Tran was thorough. I have never seen a doctor as thorough. He did the standard checks but also educated me on eye care. I didn't feel rushed like other places. He took time to get to know me and my needs. I did get some sunglasses and he was able to do that on the spot with little waiting. Small but very clean office with friendly and helpful staff. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything or upgrade my lenses. Super quick turn around time which is useful in situations where you need new lenses for your existing frames ASAP. They have an interesting concept, one that I've never heard before. They don't take insurance, which works out for those who don't have vision insurance because their prices are lower compared to other offices that do accept insurance. If you do have insurance, they will help you get reimbursed but it's out of network. I came here on Monday evening around 3 pm with 2 pairs of old glasses that needed updated lenses for my new prescription. I didn't even have my prescription but they were able to get that information from my old optometrist office in Las Vegas. The optometrist, Dr. Tran, went over my options with me and pricing. I went with thinner lenses (polycarbonate) with blue light protection since I'm always using the computer. Pricing was very fair! I didn't get it done in Vegas because Optic Gallery and LensCrafters wanted to charge me way more. I was worried that they wouldn't be done in time since I was only in town for 2 days. I received a text the following day saying that my glasses were ready for pickup! My fiancé also picked out a pair of glasses and they were also ready for pick up the following day. Everything gets done in house instead of having to deal with insurance and sending out to one of their labs which is why they have a quick turn around time. A downside is that they don't carry the usual brands you normally see like Prada, Oakley, Tiffany & Co, Ray Ban, etc. but the brands they carry seemed pretty durable and unique. They have MASQ, manomos, article one, MODO, ECO, Matsuda, crispin and Plak. My fiance got a gold MANOMOS frame. He says it's light weight and comfortable. read more
