Very disappointed with their service. I had ordered contact lenses. Waited 6 weeks then called them for a status update. They said there was a mistake with the billing and needed to pay an additional $170 for the 6 mo supply of my left contact lens. I had to cancel the order as I could not afford​ this extra cost. They said there would be a $25 restocking fee even though it was their error. I had been a patient for 8 years. I will not return. Bad business practices. read more

I saw Dr. Yoon here for decades and then the practice was sold or bought out. The front office staff is the same and they are excellent and very helpful. However, the new doctors who took over the practice are okay. I felt rushed on both occasions. I had to go back several times to nail down my new prescription, something I never once had to do previously with Dr. Yoon. This meant more money as every additional exam cost me an office visit price. Even so, I still feel as if my new prescription wasn't quite right. I ended up going to a different optometrist for the first time ever and he was able to get my prescription dialed in on our initial visit, no issues or call backs. read more

I've been coming here for about 8 years now and it's still the same great service every time. Back when I first started coming here, Dr. Yoon gave me the most comprehensive eye exam I've ever had. Very thorough and explained to me all the issues I was having at the time. He referred me to get LASIK, which is one do the greatest decisions I've made. I did that back in 2015, I just had my eyes checked March 15 and they are still perfect! Dr. Chang and Dr. ? (Horrible I forget her name because she's the doctor who has examined my eyes the last few visits.) Either way, both doctors continue to run the business fantastic. Dr. Matty Chang is really cool and knowledgeable. The office staff handles the paperwork well so I do not have to deal with the insurance headaches. They are pretty cool about giving out your contact lens RX to online retailers, too. Some offices aren't as receptive because they want to keep your business. The office is not as upscale as some optometry offices but I like it that way. I just want my eyes checked and order my contact lenses. I don't need $500.00 frames from Channel. read more

*This review is not a reflection of the quality of optometrical care or doctor. I've had a few appointments here. Today I went in to purchase contact lenses. I paid for my lenses, and I saw microfiber cloths and asked if I could have one. My old optometrist would have given them to me for free especially if I just spent hundreds of dollars. I was told it would be $1. After spending hundreds of dollars on eyecare services, I thought a $1 cloth could be complimentary. Not here. Enjoy the $1 cloth, I will be going to another office that is not stingy and values me as a patient more than a source of revenue. read more

A few weeks ago I went into pick up my glasses after a week from wearing my glasses I needed to take the glasses back to the office to let them know that they arms from the glasses were bothering me and as well as the nose pads that were replaced bigger than normal to see if that would help. Over the weekend I was having the same problem. So the following Monday I called and explained to them that I was still having the same problem and that I wanted to see if I would possibly get the frame replaced. They said it was fine but there would be a restock fee of $25.00 didn't say that on there policy or their contract. They said that the reason that they charge the patients is because the company that makes the frames charges them. I still don't think that was right. NO one should have to pay to replace the frames. read more

Their selection of eye and sun wear is more elevated in style with a wider assortment than your average optometrist. I've recommended several of my friends here and they've all loved it. They saved my day i work for aaa and am on call so i was in a rush my glasses broke and needed to fix them to drive. I searched c&c on google there were right next to me. So i stopped by explained my problem to the receptionist in 30 seconds i was handed my lenses from my old glasses into new frames im a picky person when it comes to frames the ones that were picked were perfect and they cleaned my lenses smudges i couldnt even get out i couldnt believe excellent customer service great prices i was in and out in less than 3 mins with paper work definitely my new office for glasses. Dr. Chang is a patient, knowledgable, and approachable optometrist. Every time I go to see her, she does a really great job of personalizing your care and treatment plan. I went from being a dry-eyed contact wearer to a post-lasik patient, and she was incredibly helpful with answering all of my questions and guiding me through the process. The office staff (which is equally important!) was extremely friendly and helpful while as chose out frames for our family. They were available to lend advice when needed, but were not overly pushy about making a sale. So far, all of my visits have been consistently pleasant and efficient. Dingy, unorganized, waste of time! DO NOT COME HERE! I scheduled an appt to come in for an eye exam and soonest I could get was 3 weeks away. So I booked the appointment, got a call 4 days before my appointment saying they couldn't verify my insurance coverage so I gave it to them again. I called them the next day to see if they had it all set up and they said they still needed to verify my insurance but they would let me know if there was an issue. I got a text reminder 2 days before my appointment so I figured everything was good to go. I showed up 15mins early to my appt in case I needed to fill anything out and in the reminder it said to call them before walking in. I called 5 times between 9:15 and 9:32 but every call went straight to voicemail. They called me at 9:35 asking where I was if I was coming to my appointment. I responded saying I've been outside for 15 minutes and the phones aren't being answered. The lady laughed at me and said I should have just texted them. So she tells me to come to the door, I walk in and they still haven't checked my insurance! So she has me wait 25 minutes while she tries to contact my insurance and ends up saying they can't see me because they can't get benefit information....WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! I had to take time off from work to come and they ended up not even seeing me! DO NOT COME HERE read more

The doctor, Ms. Chang, was okay. Answered all my questions and explained everything well. She contradicted what had been told to me in the past by other professionals, but I'm getting used to that in any field. She also didn't seem to be interested in running all the tests for glaucoma which was the reason I went to a real eye doctor this time around. The problem I really had was with the reception. There were 2 women there when I arrived and unfortunately, I got stuck with the wrong one (or maybe they're both bad, who knows). After 2+ years of making love to a mask and she still believes people can hear her soft voice. Good grief! I'm not going to the eye doctor to go deaf! Never responded to any of my comments as the pre-exam was given to me. Didn't know how to properly test eyeglasses for adjustment or adjust them (at which point I left). And the weirdest part of all... I realized just before leaving that nobody had given me my new eyeglass prescription! Not the doctor nor the receptionist. I've never been to an eye doctor who didn't write up the prescription before the exam was over! When I asked the receptionist for it, she wrote it up herself. The doctor had also told me to email her some info. When I asked the receptionist for an email address, she gave it to me, but I have sent 2 emails to that address and they have gone ignored. I called to find out who receives the emails and was asked who I sent it to. Come to find out, there are 2 email addresses, one which goes to the doctor, and the other which goes to the front office. Why I wasn't given the doctor's' is beyond me since I specified that I needed to send her some exam reports. Why my 2 emails have gone ignored, is also beyond me. I have given up. I could have and should have just saved money and gone to Walmart. read more

The customer service from the front desk staff is HORRIBLE. This is my second year going here and I thought I would give them another try, but each time there's ongoing issues. This year they had the audacity to refuse the exact same service to what I got last year to "me" because my insurance coverage is too great on their end. I was even given 2 years old expired contacts to try for my contact lens fitting exam and for my take home trial which was when I noticed. Also, Marilyn and Julie will tell you one thing and said they even called and confirmed with your insurance, but you cannot trust their words. I had to contact the insurance myself each time and they would tell me otherwise. PLEASE call your insurance yourself to verify your benefits. I will not be coming back here. read more

The Dr. is great, however the customer service is less than satisfactory and will not be coming here again. They are terribly inconsistent, and will only provide better customer service the first year to hopefully keep your business. Marilyn the front desk associate has a tendency to say one thing to the customer that ends up not being true. If they are saying something to you I would recommend contacting your insurance to verify. Going to an optomotrist I would hope they are looking out for the customer and that is just not the case here. I would not write a review if it was just one issue, but there have been multiple and ongoing. I hope that all others will not have to deal with similar experiences I have. read more

Please note, they do not rush your glasses order even though they say they do. They made a typo on my lenses so they had to resend them back to the lab. When I picked up my glasses I address my concerns about the prescription but the agent brushed it off. Two days later I called back and had to take time off so they can re look at my prescription and find out there was a typo. The optometrist right away found the typo, she stated they will rush my order because of their typo . The agent in the front desk said she will call to have them rush it but her face told me otherwise. A week and a day later I got my glasses. I had a bent temple on my favorite pair of eyeglasses. I happened to be driving by & stopped in to see if they could repair them. As I walked in I was promptly greeted and made to feel welcomed. I told them my problem and asked if they could fix them. I showed them to the technician, she looked them over & said confidently she could, but also informing me that breakage could occur. I gave her my approval to proceed. 5 mins later she came back out, gave them back to me asking to try them on. The fit was perfect!! Just like they used to be. I was very happy. I then asked how much for the repair, her response was there is no charge! She stated that she was happy to do this for me, we do things like this all the time. I offered to buy her & her colleague behind the desk some coffees or lunch. Yes she politely declined my offer. She told me her satisfaction was making me happy! C&C Optical is the Best, most service oriented place I have been to in a long time. These professionals really embrace the word service & truly display it!!
