A poor experience all around. My original appointment was cancelled two hours before due to a conflict with the estheticians break time. It was an inconvenience, but they rescheduled me for two days later. When I showed up for my new appointment, the esthetician was 15 minutes late and left me standing in the hallway of the community building without so much as an "I'm running behind," "I'm sorry," or "give me 15 minutes and I will be right with you." I was left waiting, hoping someone was in the wax room and that they would come out eventually. Once I was taken in, the esthetician was polite and professional, but the Brazilian sugar wax I received is the worst I've ever had. It is very patchy, and is no where near a Brazilian. I will not be returning to Hello Sugar and do not recommend this location. read more

I love this place!!! I went here to have my underarms done, and they did SUCH A GOOD JOB! The aesthetician was thoughtful and kind and worked really hard to keep me informed during the process. She asked me if I had any good or bad experiences in the past, and what made them that way. She also started right on time and explained each step. I have been going to hello sugar for three years now. Never have had a problem. This past visit I added on a facial. Two days later I have an abscess on my eyelid from the towel/products. NOT SANITARY AT ALL. the person who did my wax/facial was not very friendly either. Safe to say I will not be going back. Spend a little more money on a cleaner place/friendly people. read more

I do not reccomend HelloSugar and will not be returning. I had a Brazilian wax one week ago. This wax was the worst I have had, and I have waxed for two years of my life. The wax was too hot, which caused a burn, then it blistered, and then the skin was ripped off along with the wax. This experience was even more upsetting because I was scheduled for a Boudoir photo experience the following Friday, walking in with a visible burn was not how I imagined things would go. There was a contract in place so canceling costs an additional $1,600. A week later the burn is still sore and very much visible. I was given an email for "managment" but was regarded with Zero response. All I requested was the name of the insurance company to file a claim; that I wasnt sure there will be any problems, but I want to at least report to them what happened in case I have permanent scarring, or suffer some other continuing medical problem. I question if the aesthetician's are even licensed. I also question their so called values of accountability, responsibility, trust, and honesty. read more

I see Gabbie for my services here and she is spectacular! It's very difficult to find someone who does sugaring so thankfully Sugar Me Wax offers it. Gabbie does the most thorough job! I had been getting my lady bits waxed somewhere else and was displeased at how much hair they left, and my skin actually had an adverse reaction to it multiple times. I still go to the other place to get brows and lip waxed because they do a great job on those. I haven't had any other services done at Sugar Me Wax, but I believe they offer other beauty services in addition to hair removal. If you're debating giving sugar wax a try, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It does hurt a bit more than hard wax during the appointment, but the results speak for themselves! read more

I've been here several times before for my Brazilian and had a great experience with the previous esthetician I used to go to. I decided to book an appointment again and was scheduled with someone new. The experience was so painful that my body eventually went numb which never happens to me. Not only that but once I got home I noticed that I was sore and red. Now I'm rashing and I'm not sure what to do. Worst experience ever to have a rash in your feminine areas. read more

This was not my first Brazilian, but I really wish it had been with how amazing Gabriela was! First of all, the room was very clean and she was so warm, knowledgeable, and professional. The wax before me took a little longer because it was her first time, and I actually thought it was so kind that she took the time and went at the pace of the client before me and made sure she was comfortable. The wax itself was actually the best part, it was my most painless one I've ever experienced (and I've had a couple) and she actually got the most hair off I know about growth cycles, but she got the most due to her attention to detail. She asked about my routine for my skin as I've had terrible ingrown hairs in the past and scarring from cysts. She was very kind and professional about making recommendations, and I really appreciated that. I ended up rebooking because my experience was so great. I've never before been cleaned off after the wax and was left with bits of wax to get off myself, but this time she applied a cooling ointment and some lotion and gave me education on what to do and not to do post wax. Let me start by saying Stephanie is AMAZING. This was my first experience doing a Brazilian wax and I was beyond nervous to say the least. I talked to her about how nervous I was and she was very upfront and told me that it's not painless but it's definitely something that's manageable. She made me feel at ease and she made me feel very comfortable in a rather uncomfortable situation. The wax itself was not nearly as bad as I had imagined it to be. Friendly experience when scheduling for my first time, but never got to actually experience the services because there was always a conflict (no one can do the sugar this day, no full time staff on this day (huh???) and finally when I got to a day that worked they called me to cancel my appt bc the aesthetician was sick, which I get, but why do a promo if there's so many scheduling conflicts? Why would you offer me an upgraded service and say oh you know what, we don't do that here but we can find you a different location that does??? It just makes no sense to call your company sugar me wax and they have to send you to a different location to get the sugar done or they don't have enough staff trained to do what they are offering Going to stick with European Wax Center where they make your appt actually work and follow through on services. . read more
