Although it's been 2 years since the wedding, it's funny how brides can remember pretty much everything and which vendor was awesome and which was not. I still remember very clearly that 4 Eyes was the only vendor that we had any problems with. A few of the things that happened really annoyed us. 1) Kellie and Rupert were 15 minutes late. This is awful because we had to rush through all the pre-wedding photos. And it stressed me out - A LOT. They charge $600/hour. They must have had 10 missed calls from me. Their reason was that they were stuck in traffic and forgot their phone. That's not really an excuse, because my videographer and make up artist got to the hotel one hour early! As a wedding professional how they can just aim to be on time and not early. And the added stress is not a great way to start a wedding day. 2) Although minor, it was still annoying that they brought an assistant without telling us ahead of time, so I had to arrange for an extra vendor meal at the last minute. I had a lot more pressing things to attend to on my wedding day without them throwing me a surprise like this. 3) The main reason why I would never recommend them is that our photos that we waited over 2 months for were flawed - with SPOTS all over many of the photos. Some spots on our faces like we have a bad case of moles. A lot of the spots are in the same areas on the photos, so we suspected that one of the cameras was dirty. Are they serious? How can they send us photos like these - did they even bother checking the photos? I wrote them an email explaining my disappointment and Kellie wrote back telling me that she will put all the pictures back into post-production. We waited another 6 weeks for the new DVD. Although, they cleaned up most of the obvious spots, there were still many spots on the pictures. This puts them straight into amateur territory. I thought I hired professional photographers. Comparing them to all my other vendors, they are definitely at the bottom of the list, because all of my other vendors either went above and beyond to make my day wonderful or at least met expectations. They were the only ones that caused me any problems. And I haven't recommended them to my engaged friends. When we took our 1 year anniversary photos, we also didn't contact them, but instead hired a different photographer for about half the price and she was absolutely brilliant and photos came out beautiful and amazing - with no spots to say the least. I would have to say that 4 Eyes didn't meet our expectations and is the only vendor we wish we didn't hire.
