I used to come as a child, and this place has come a long ways since then. There are a dozen or more little exhibits of childhood nursery rhymes (such as Little Red Riding Hood and Jack and Jill), each has a box you can put a key in (mine from my childhood still worked) and hear the story in English or Spanish. All of the boxes we tried worked. Some of the exhibits are just things you look at, some include things like slides or other things for kids to play on. There's also a castle and a pirate ship (one of the new exhibits). There's a train, which costs extra and is ok, but they need to clean up the area it goes through, it could be a lot nicer. There's also a small snack bar. All in all, this is a really great place to bring kids under about 7. It was not busy at all the day we were there, which surprised me because our kids had so much fun!

We spent about 3 or so hours playing & exploring. It's really meant for younger ages,probably up until about 10-11. My son is going to be 11 next week & loved it because he loves dinosaurs, digging & science. Not sure i would go out of my way to go back, only because we don't live locally but if we lived in fresno I would consider getting a membership. They have a lot of great programs throughout the week which would be great for school field trips or homeschooling co-ops.

You can get your tickets online, I happen to check at the right time because their prices and affordable on every first Saturdays of the month! The lady working was super friendly and helpful, she even told me they do music classes and that the kids are more than welcome to join. Around 11am they have a person doing a science presentation but unfortunately she was running late on her project and I overheard her being kind of rude and not in a good mood so we decided to move on to the next room. They were also selling boba and eggrolls outside, sorry I forget the name of the seller that had their booth there. The kids enjoyed the front area where they can dress up, draw and play with toys. There was also someone selling their 3D printed animals, which the kids loved so I caved and bought them all one plus help support small businesses. i went on wednesday night with a group that included 2 kiddos (age 4 and 10). it was everyone's…read morefirst time and we didn't have any expectations, but it turned out to be really fun. the golf course is halloween themed with scary props, zombies and ghosts that jump out, spook or sing. luckily, these kiddos weren't scared. the lil one was distracted but we were all able to play. there are 16 holes total and you can score points online by scanning a QR code. everyone got a club appropriate for their size and got to choose a colored ball. the course starts off simple and then gets more clever and challenging. there's also some arcade games and an air hockey table out front. the arcade games are mostly racing or shooting games. the plus is that it's free/included with admission (except for the pinball machine and claw machine games. however, some games were old or broken. a bonus plus is that they allowed ins and outs as long as we had a receipt. we played for an hour and paused midway to step out and grab food. we came back an hour later and were able to continue golfing. overall, a fun wholesome night. the golf course is dimly lit and can get chilly. kids under a certain age are free. admission is priced separately for adults and kids. plenty of parking.

This used to be our favorite zoo, but our recent visit was by far the worst experience we've had…read more We arrived at 2 PM, thinking our family of four could enjoy everything in two hours, only to find out they were closing early (at 3 PM) for a sold-out ice cream event starting at 5 PM. They no longer participate in the Museums for All program, which was a fantastic way to promote inclusion. Now, they offer a "Wednesday Welcome Days" program allowing adults with a valid ID and a WIC or EBT card to purchase up to four $5 general admission tickets on Wednesdays. This move feels exclusionary, as it limits access for lower-income families to just one day a week--who can take time off work or school to visit? Where's the every day equity? To make matters worse, they don't offer any discount for closing early when we had only an hour left. We paid $99.80 to enter (for 2 adults, a 4-year-old, and a 2-year-old). Additionally, we spent $18.00 for three of us to feed giraffes and $24.00 for the Zoorassic Park experience, which forced us to buy the butterflies package too. We even paid $10 to feed the stingrays, only to be told they were out of food after we had already paid. In total, we wasted $151.80 for just an hour of lackluster fun. Honestly, I'd rather pay a little more for a day at Disneyland--where kids' tickets are only $50 (recent promotion). This place is overcharging and seriously lacking consideration for families. We won't be returning to Fresno Chaffee Zoo.

And if you are new to the area be mindful they just redid the pavement so they were blocked off certain areas but other than that you should find them no problem. Overall we had an excellent customer service experience at Good their Pottery they text you once your order is ready for pickup and if you do not pick up your item in time they will trash it okay. There is a tiny play ice cream truck and little fruits/veggies stand but the ice cream truck didn't have many of the ice cream scoop parts. The small table for building blocks was nice but again I'm sure it gets crowded. They have some snacks and drinks for sale in case you forget to bring yours. I think overall it was a lot brighter and cleaner than the other play place we went to in the area, but just less variety of things to play with, and they're the same price for entry.
