He looked at the problem, thought it over, evaluated different options and went with what he thought was best. Once he was done he even looked at all my other shades, no extra charge, and regulated all of them "just because he likes a job well done". I was very impressed with his skill, friendliness, and the pride he clearly takes in a job well done. By the end of a couple hours with of work, he charged me just about what a different company told me they would have charged me just to come out and check the issue (and recharge me if they had to order pieces and come back!). After months of going back and forth with no one knowing anything about the repair, they told us they were going out of business and cut off communication. I sent letters to their manager and CEO and got no response. Now, almost a year later, I come to find that they're still in business.
