Was looking for a jeweler to work on a wedding ring. Their quoted price was shockingly twice what it should have been so thats not going to happen. But the worst part was the pervasive sense of snooty self important employees looking down on us because we were not dressed up in our finest church clothes. There's alot more i could say about this but will leave one final thought: Looking down at your customers is insulting and your comment about "oh thats a nice LITTLE diamond" was absolutely unprofessional. read more

I'm new to the mountain and I was in desperate need to have my wife's jewelry serviced. I walked into the shop and was greeted by two wonderful ladies. I asked for help and I got what I needed to be done the necklace got repaired. While waiting I took a look at their establishment and it looked so clean and organized. I love this place. This is the only place my husband and I trust. I have had two rings of mine fixed that turned out beautiful and I am currently having them fix another ring that was handed down to me and putting a new diamond in it. Two years ago, this jeweler offered great services so i rated them at "5 stars" Recently i returned again to this jewelry store for help. sadly, things have changed "grrr-eat-ly"! I believe that customers will be very, very disappointed. Helmet the Jeweler watch battery replacement service ... now ... greatly overcharges. For example, a cr 2025 watch battery in stock at walmart sells at a price of 2 for $4.37. This was the battery my watch required. Helmet the Jeweler replaced 1 of these batteries in 7 minutes ... and then charged over $16.00 for the watch battery replacement service. read more

Had some work done on some jewelry sizing and soldering results were not what I expected for the $300 price tag to size two rings and solder one. Bad craftsman ship. When I try to point out the flaws to the jeweler he got very rude and told me I just didn't know what I was looking for that's how it is supposed to look and laughed. Don't go here. read more

I went to Helmut the Jewelers to buy a good watch for my boyfriend for our 1 year anniversary on September 27th! The sales man said that I would love this watch, it's a Seiko and one of the best watches out there! I was super excited about this watch! i was concerned with the band and it fitting my boyfriends wrist. So i asked about other watch bands and I found one that i thought would work! the sales man said he would give it to me FREE! Well he did give it to me FREE, but he forgot to put the original band in the box. So I called and he said, Oh you want the band? Well Yes I didn't pay $200.00 bucks for just the head! The sales man said that he would put it in the an envelope and ave it for me! We went that day to pick it up (October 3rd). When we got there My Boy Friend asked what the warranty covered? I asked why and he said that it had a scratch on the face! I was very upset because I was told the watch was scratch resistant, the sales man even scratch it on the rock floor to prove it to me..... So when we got inside the store the sales man was there and I got our band back, then I asked him what he could do to fix the scratch and he said there is nothing we can do its to deep... Well what about the warranty? he says oh i cant fix that its not covered? Well what good is a warranty that wont fix the the scratch? it has been 1 week to the day, they wouldn't exchange it or even refund it! I'm sooooo angry with them... ANY THING TO MAKE A DOLLAR EVEN IF IT MEANS YOUR ARE A CROOK... read more
