The owner Leo arrived in 5 minutes as promised and greeted us warmly. Inside there are three jewelry cases filled to the brim with copper, silver, and turquoise jewelry. You can find Hopi, Navajo, and Zuni handmade jewelry, ceramics, and textile pieces at Nakai's. This was the only trading post we stopped in Holbrook and is certainly worth a visit. Leo is knowledgeable about his trade and was happy to explain the differences in turquoise to me, producing the map you can see in my photos.
