I drive an hour to my 9 am confirmed appointment, but they don't open til 12? When I called, the man on the phone told me that was impossible. I asked him, why would I do that to myself? Why would I drive an hour for my appointment if I knew they weren't going to be open? He said he didn't know me and I probably just wanted to leave a bad review. He asked me to send him a copy of my confirmation email that he was so sure I didn't have. I sent them to him. He then proceeded to tell me that the only thing he could do for me was reschedule me for TOMORROW!? This person obviously doesn't understand business and customer satisfaction, for there was absolutely no customer service. I wasted my energy, gas, and -most importantly- time. Something that was supposed to be a treat for myself has turned in to a nightmare. I would not recommend this place based on that interaction alone. If that's how they deal with me before I even walk in the door, how can I trust them with my cuticles??

I have been going to this master for almost 5 years (maybe even more), and every time she makes perfect nails and gives me advice on how to keep them from breaking . As for quality, I would never change her with anyone else. Once, only once I went to another master as Alyona was away on vaca and I got fungus! A f... fungus! I have never had this with Alyona! So, she helped me clean and treat the nail. Thanks God for Alyona. Oh, and all these "wannabe" manicurists who intentionally leave bad reviews need to go learn from Alyona. Thanks read more

Three stars until I hear back, but i texted twice to make an appointment and no one ever responded to me. Their website explicitly says to text for an appointment, so I did. A shame - I work around the corner and am excited to get going with a different nail salon, but two unanswered attempts at scheduling appointments doesn't bode well for a long and fruitful relationship read more

This was my fist time here. I am very happy with the service. Knarik did my hard gel, she is amazing, I highly recommend her and will definitely come again. The staff is s really friendly. I am editing this review because the hard gel polish was breaking and nail going bad after 12 days I was told that the polish will last for at least 3 weeks but didn't even stayed for 2 weeks.. very disappointed . Very friendly atmosphere.Very responseble,they always call you back, texting, sending an email to remind for your app. If they did not respond to you , they have a very serious reason for it. This review took me a good while to write... I used to go to Help Nails in Los Angeles before moving to Texas. I can surely tell you that it is extremely hard to find makeup artist you can trust your face to!!! Alena was the one I went to and she is hands down one of the Best!!!! This salon is one of the things I miss about California. I still didn't find anyone as good after my move. I am so frustrated with this place right now. First of all when I called I said I want to make an appt with Alena and he told me she's not available until 5pm but then before I could respond he said that she is not busy at the moment and asked me what time I can come in and I said 2pm. So I came in and they passed me off to another employee instead who is technically only been doing this for a year. Also, they didn't tell me that it was going to take 3 hours just for a full set. I found out after she had already started. I was pissed and annoyed. The girl tried her best but my nails looks like crap. This is possibly the worst set of nails I have ever seen in my life and embarrassed to go to work tomorrow with these nails, that's how bad it is. The technician knew I didn't like it and they still charged me full price. They also called me a liar and stated supposedly told me that Alena wasn't available and that this tech was going to do it. That never happened and I speak English clearly, they don't. The shape is all uneven, the lengths are uneven, some of them are too wide and I told her I want it narrow, the overall nail bed is uneven as some parts are thicker than others. Look at the pictures for yourself. They have no customer service and now I have to pay more money to take them off tomorrow as I can't stand to look at them. I literally wanted to cry. By the way I thought these were supposed to be hard to take off and yet I didn't even make it home without one coming off. I paid $45 for this crap? RIPOFF!!!! STAY AWAY TRUST ME!!!! WASTE OF MONEY COMING HERE!!! read more

I had to break up with my nail lady, since I moved job location and I wasn't going to drive 30 miles just to get my nails done. It was heart breaking, but I got over it, when I met Alena. She is ubber talented with her designs and techniques. The product that she uses are awesome. She also does microblading, tatoo (lips, eyel liner), facials, eyelash extensions....This place is a one stop beauty shop....They are super friendly and I love that I get to pick up some Russian words too. It's been about two years now that I found Alena and since then my nail game has changed completely! By that time I basically made my peace with my fat little sausages and tiny broken nails because nobody in this city could do a decent job with a full set. My ultimate moment of glory happened soon after Alena worked her magic on me and somebody at the bar randomly approached me and said that I should be a hand model! ME AND MY SAUSAGES (a questionable pick up line, but what an incredible compliment to Alena's work). She is SO GOOD that nobody can ever guess this is not gel manicure. She works with gel and I prefer it over acrylics your nails underneath are absolutely healthy. On top of it Alena has a great personality, funny, kind and can legitimately charge extra for psychological help. Love you, my dear, I'll be back soon! read more

Simply said, the best nail salon I've ever attended, they use unique gel that is not like any other gel out there, makes my nails last up to 2 months, not even a single chip. Various designs to choose from, or you can create your own. I have never been able to commit to a nail technician until her and now, I can proudly admit that doing my nails is part of monthly spending plan I've been seeing her since 2022 and she's done my nails for events and every season between -- she's done my wedding nails, bachelorette nails, baby shower nails -- name an event, she's done it for me. I've gone through square nails, oval nails, coffin nails, almond nails with her. She never pushes anything on you and always has the integrity of your nails in mind. She is meticulous and artistic, and her shop is clean, cozy, and easy to find. I'm so proud of what she's accomplished! I started off with chewed off, uneven, thin nails but now I'm thriving. I am SO happy with Ivanka that I followed her as she opened up her own shop. The only reason my nails have broken is because I waited too long to see Ivanka and they needed to be restructured, but my nails LAST forever. I can push to go about six weeks between sets but don't be like me She's probably done more than a dozen sets for me and I wish i had taken pictures of all of them but she really can do almost everything-- from florals to abstract to geometric designs. I'm so happy that she's my nail technician and I love seeing the art she does on my nails follow her on ig @waka_waka_nails and see her work!!

You can tell they are all extremely skilled at what they do. I had Nancy for my pedicure and she was great. Like I said, they're all very skilled and you can tell by the way they are very gentle, precise, and quick. Michael did my manicure and he asked what color I was wanting to do. I said I like dark colors and purple and he recommended the perfect shade for me. He showed me what it looked like and asked if i'd be willing to try it. Not a lot of places care to give you recommendations or check to see if you even like the color first. Overall, super happy with my experience. Went in to get a regular manicure, pedicure done on Thursday 1/15/26. One was working on my feet, while the other one was working on my hands. They both did an exceptional, clean job and I was on cloud nine. Great place to indulge yourself and do some pampering. They also give a good rub on your feet. Just the way that I like it! Wonderful people, clean salon and they will even offer you some water if you want something to drink. They have parking, restroom, and 2 entrances. One on Laurel Canyon, and the other one you can enter from their parking lot. I did my toes burgundy cherry red, and opted a light cappuccino color for my hands. Total was $50 w/out tip. My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. And thanks again for the massage therapist recommendation. Rest and recovery, here I come!

If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

I had permanent eyeliner on top and bottom in January. The bottom literally didn't take at all and the top was only a little visible at the corners. Since I'm from out of town I called them that week stating that the bottom was gone. They said it's ok we will "touch it up when you come back in town". I understood I would need a touch up but this was literally a redo. So I schedule appointment for next time I'm here June 21 to get bottom redone and touch up on my upper lid. They only did the bottom and didn't touch up the top. They told me to call within the next three days if I had any problems or needed anything (remember my time is a factor due to living out of town) Called them the very next morning, June 22 to see if they could work me in for the top. They told me no and that it would be two weeks. What happened to the three days???? I wasted my money, time and a lot of pain for a terrible job and service. I went to her for permanent eyebrow and eyeliner makeup and now people are asking me where I got it done. She has a very good sense of beauty and is very skilled. Actually if you look at your records I came back for my touch up at 6 weeks. And how do you explain the color that bled out of the side of liner? I had to go someplace to have that area camouflaged. At the touch up appt I pointed out the area that had looked like a mistake and you said nothing. read more
