Ninjee put a set of gel nails on my hands and they're totally transformed! I didn't know that my hands could get that pretty. I'll certainly be seeing Ninjee for future services. ...update...At one week, my hair began to get caught in my nails. I am told that this is due to lifting. I am using food service gloves to wash my hair and cook. ...update...At two weeks, one Gel-x nail popped off. The others are visibly lifting. At two and a half weeks, two other nails popped off. I went back yesterday, on my three-week anniversary of my first set of Gel-Xs and asked for hard gel instead. The set looks fine so far, but I was in for a shock when I went to pay. There was an additional $20 charge to take off the Gel-X nails. The cat-eye polish went from $15 to $20 in 3 weeks (not worth it, if you ask me). In fairness, I got a basic pedicure too, for $35. Those are always good. But the receptionist rang up a bill for $150! I protested as Ninjee had said she would give me a discount and the receptionist lowered it to $135. At least that's what the card reader showed. Imagine my surprise when I got home, checked my on-line receipt, and it showed $145. Way too much -- I need to find a less-expensive place. read more

I'm writing this review reluctantly, but I believe it's important to share my experience so others can make informed decisions. To be clear, this review is not about nail quality across the board. Julie, my longtime nail technician, consistently provided excellent, professional service and was the primary reason I stayed loyal for so many years. Talisha at the front desk was also consistently professional and helpful. Unfortunately, my recent experiences made it impossible for me to continue as a client. During my last visit, I had a deeply uncomfortable and upsetting interaction with another nail technician. Without asking, she grabbed my personal belongings (my jacket) that were placed next to me. Even after I told her to let go and attempted to take it myself, she refused to release it until I firmly repeated myself. The interaction escalated unnecessarily, drew attention from nearby clients and staff, and left me feeling shaken and unsafe. When I retrieved my jacket, it was covered in product residue. What made the situation worse was not just the behavior itself, but how it was handled. Another employee inserted herself into the situation in a way that felt mocking and confrontational, all while services were being performed in front of clients. One client even apologized to me afterward out of embarrassment. This was not an isolated issue. Previously, I referred my employee to Nail Garden, where she left an appointment with multiple cuts to her fingers and was told the injuries were her fault. While management later accommodated her with a different technician, the original employee involved remained, and the underlying behavior appeared unaddressed. I raised my concerns directly with ownership, hoping for accountability and meaningful change. While apologies were offered, the responses focused on reassurance rather than clearly addressing the conduct or the pattern behind it. After years of loyalty, I no longer felt confident that client safety, boundaries, and professionalism were being prioritized. As a long-term, high-frequency client, my takeaway is this: talented professionals and strong front-desk staff can only do so much when management tolerates behavior that erodes trust and comfort for clients. I genuinely wish this had ended differently. But I ultimately chose to disengage because I no longer felt safe or respected in the salon environment. read more

The staff was nice, but the quality wasn't great. My first set looked pretty thick, and when I went back, the second tech agreed they were thicker than expected. I gave them another chance at a different location (Burbank first, then Studio City), but unfortunately had a similar experience. They have several very good manicurists that I love. However there are two rude and loud manicurists named Lisa and Theresa who stomp around all day, screaming at each other. Lisa walks loudly slapping her shoes on the concrete floor. I heard a customer stop Lisa and ask her what size shoe does she wear? Lisa said why do you want to know that?! And the customer said because I'm going to buy you a pair of shoes that have a rubber sole because you're driving me crazy. A few customers burst out laughing, nodding in agreement. Also don't like that Lisa and Theresa sit at the front desk going thru the computer to snoop at appts and they will talk loudly which customers pay a membership fee. It's a shame they dominate the shop with their petty behavior because the majority of the manicurists are very nice and do good work. read more

I got a basic pedicure from Tu. $35. Booked online. I had an early weekday appointment. The salon was quiet and clean. Tu worked really fast, but it didn't feel rushed. He was done in under 30 mins. The shaping could have been better, but you get what you pay for. For the price, it's a solid pedicure. read more

They do a good job and the prices are fair. But this time when I went in, they are now charging 3% for using credit cards " to keep prices low". I was not told this in advance and had enough in cash. The 3% for vendors has been long standing and now they have decided to pass that forward to the consumer? I can go to Nordstrom at South Coast plaza for similar prices and great service AND use my nordstrom card without a 3% fee. With so many nail salons around, this is not necessary and having the front desk staff eating ramen while checking you in is not great either. Just sayin.... read more

this is what I got for 90$ !!!!Teresa manicurist!!!! I came in for a manicure and asked for a French design, but the nail tech simply couldn't do it. I had to cancel the design altogether because it was clear it wasn't going to turn out well. They ended up doing a solid color, but even that was poorly done. The application is uneven, there are bubbles, and some areas are way too thick. There's acrylic left on the pads of my fingers, which is just lazy. The worst part? The shape is all over the place. Every nail is a different length, a different shape, and most of them are crooked. It honestly looks like each nail was done by a different person -- with their eyes closed. Very disappointed. For the price I paid, this is completely unacceptable. Not going back, and definitely don't recommend. read more

First of all, I have been coming here since I was a kid it would always be my treat with my mom or dad so this place holds a special place with me, now coming as an adult on my own its a full circle moment! Came here on a Tuesday afternoon around 3 o'clock, & it wasn't too busy. Right away I was greeted by the receptionist, they said she was new & she was a doll. She helped assisted me in questions I had about a potential service. They have a HUGE selection of colors, & brands so it's already hard to choose a color, now it's REALLY HARD. However I looked over to my right & saw they have the newest release and FULL COLLECTION of celebrity nail tech Chaun Legend which is a pretty big collection & I was so excited! my nail tech was Angelica or Angelina I cant remember but she was amazing. She checked with me after each nail to make sure my shape was to my liking, & continued to do so during my session. I did an acrylic overlay & in total my service with gel polish was $67. They offer very reasonable prices which I love, & they really show out. Will definitely be coming back more often. I live in DTLA but this place is worth the 15-20 min commute ! Also the place is always super clean when I come & it really makes me feel so much more comfortable to know im in a clean space, especially when dealing with nails & my personal care,. Not sure u can tell in pic but the ends are so thick and lumpy im shocked that places still do this kind of polishing in 2025. Yes i should've said something but i had no time to redo it. I didn't have an appointment but they were still able to take me with a 20 min wait (understandable!!) $35 for a regular pedicure + $12 callus removal. For the area I was scared they were going to be overpriced. Totally worth it! My tech was almost too fast but when I left I left with a great pedicure! Very nice vibe, clean and definitely some regulars! Better display of the polishes is all that I would recommend. But I will be back for a gel mani very soon! read more

It's a mixed bag. Pedicures have been great, but the manicures leave a lot to be desired. The dremel heavy reliance leaves my cuticles bleeding, and the y discussed up charges at the end are obnoxious when they chip the next day. I'm also pretty over nail techs that act like most of us haven't been getting our nails done for decades - no honey, it's not best for me just cuz you can charge $12 more. read more

My 30 minute mani/pedi took 20 minutes and was sloppily done, bubbles in the polish, and missing spots. No one spoke to me at all. Cash or Venmo for tip. When I asked for their Venmo, they stood and watched me while I tipped. I came in with a gift card and I will not return. read more

Beautiful place that is very inviting when you walk by.. that's what prompted me to pop in for a pedicure. Nail polish options are limited, in my opinion, and strictly OPI for regular polish. No massage chairs.. but this is probably one of the best regular pedicures I have had. Sally was chatty, pleasant, thorough and gentle. There are like 5 different pedi options ranging from $34 to $80. I got the 2nd tier, and it was $45. Cash only tips, plenty of parking in the private lot. Went in last Tuesday - my nail tech was on her phones (yes, multiple phones) the whole time so I shouldn't have been surprised with how horrible of a job was done. I just wanted a gel manicure- she said oh no let's do rubber gel first it'll be better for your nails to grow. Tell me why this "magical gel" came off clean within 5 days. I have THREE completely naked to the bare nails. What a joke this place is. Oh and I had to listen to other front desk and techs complain about coworkers stealing from them. The receptionist was nice. My daughter liked the girl that did her Pedicure however $60 for a Gel Pedicure is absurd. I needed a Full set Gel. $87 I think was a little too much. I was not pleased with the work I will not be returning to this location. I asked for short almond nails she kept filling them down that at the end they were too short my hair gets stuck in the nail because she didn't blend the powder evenly.
